I absolutely love Pangea Pizza! With my busy work schedule, I make it to the Evansville area only a couple of times a year -- and without fail, Pangea is always one of my must-stop spots. From the moment you pull into the parking lot, you can already smell the goodness that's waiting inside. One of the things I truly appreciate is the open kitchen -- there's something special about being able to watch the team handcraft everything from scratch. It's not just a slogan here; it's the real deal. The Detroit-style pizza is phenomenal. In fact, I was in Detroit just a few weeks ago and tried a well-known pizzeria's version -- and honestly, it didn't even come close to what Pangea serves. Every visit, I make it a point to try something new, and this time I went with the House Pie. All I can say is wow -- it was absolutely incredible. Evansville, you have a true hidden gem here! I recently visited Pangea Kitchen for the first time and came away very impressed. The menu is authentic and there are enough choices to satisfy any picky eaters. I got a pizza and a salad and both were extremely satisfying. Pangea Kitchen impressed me on many different levels. 1.) For starters the food was great and it was priced reasonably when you consider that everything is authentic and made with fresh ingredients. 2.) The entire staff was polite, helpful, and clean. I even witnessed the owner waiting on customers and helping his staff. You can tell that the owner is hard working and more importantly has the respect of his staff. Who wouldn't want to eat at a restaurant that provides authentic food and great customer service. Pangea Kitchen passes the eye test and the taste test! Literally the worst Thai food I've ever had. It had no flavor, gummy noodles, and huge chunks of undercooked garlic. The pizza was soggy, soupy and burnt. When my husband picked up his slice, all the toppings just slid off onto the plate. Way too loud inside, flies everywhere outside on the tables. Horrible stench by the bathrooms. Landscaping was cheap, and the huge, awkward metal boxes were so rusty, it rubbed off on my clothes. The manager came to our table to ask if everything was ok, and as I tried to explain everything that was wrong, he just walks away!! Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone honestly. Save your money for something worthwhile! I would give it NO stars if possible, but my only option was 1 star. The woman taking my order was lovely though! read more

A place that has my utmost respect as a cutting edge restaurant and some of the most exciting cuisine to be cooked in Evansville! Their Neapolitan Pizza is without a doubt my favorite pizza that i've had up until this point in life. Yea I know, that's a big statement, but it's true. I especially love the "Cofona". The Asian cuisine is knock out good as well. The Kao Soi is a thai noodle dish and you can have it with tofu instead of pork, but either way (2 Thumbs way up). Last but not least... you have to save room for the gelato. Period. That's all that needs to be said about the gelato. Like Nike says, "Just Do It". Keep on being you Pangea! One of my favorite restaurants in town. Sometimes the service can be a bit slow, but if you grab a drink at the bar, and order an appetizer the wait isn't so bad. Getting the roasted veggies are fantastic, but my favorite thing is go and get both the Curry and Drunken Noodles. One to take home and one to eat there. Pangea NEVER disappoints. If you want thin crust pizza, definitely try the margarita. The sauce is so delicious and it's the perfect amount of fresh mozzarella and basil. The roasted vegetable side/appetizer is an excellent choice. By all means splurge and try the soda. I usually drink water and avoid sugar, but I admit to this guilty pleasure.
