House croissant, sweeter dough and slight glaze.

Wow! If you are a cheesecake lover, you must ask if they have any of their homemade Pie Basque. It's been years since I've had this and it's a favorite of mine. Took two home that I could stash in the freezer. Happy camper and another new reason to stop by here. They came to clear the table but I had to grab my dessert dish back from her as I wasn't finished lapping up every crumb on that plate. :-). It's incredibly delicious!

Before arriving, I was unaware of the chain Panicafe. I was also unaware the owners own multiple concepts in the area. The more you know. This quaint shop is really aesthetic! Understanding that most guests are first time customers, they're patient and helpful while you're making your selection. They have a handful of sweet and savory options to choose from including morning pastries, breakfast sandwiches, desserts and more. I ordered my traditional brew, and a chocolate croissant. Although neither really stood out, they were both enjoyable. Bonus points for taking my guests order at the table. By This is certainly a spot to take a friend if you're on this side of town.

Strawberry salad - 8/10 - Tasty, walnuts added a crunch, but needed more dressing Salmon bagel - 8.5/10 - Delicious but would prefer bagel to be a bit more crispy Avocado toast - 8/10 - Could use more flavor, maybe some lemon or spice Panicafe parfait - 9/10 - So fresh and delicious, probably the best parfait ive had, yogurt was just a little too sweet Green sandwich - 9.5/10 - I really liked the pesto sauce, had a lot of flavor Luna croissant - 9/10 - Had a caramel filling, better for those who like sweeter pastries Blueberry scone - 7/10 - Light sweet, had a lot of blueberries which i liked but had a chewy/bready texture Chocolate chip cookie - 9/10 - Crispy from the outside and gooey/soft from the inside, loved this Matcha almond latte - 6/10 - Matcha flavor wasnt strong Lavender oat white mocha - 9/10 - Loved this, both flavors were strong Detox juice - 9/10 - So refreshing, really tasty for a healthy drink lol Panicafe is a European inspired cafe with so many delicious and clean items. They have coffee, smoothies, homemade pastries, sandwiches, salads, and more! I would recommend for those in the area

What a lovely experience! My mom and I shared their "tea party". We were obsessed with the cucumber sandwiches and spinach quiche. We also tried their iced matchas, each flavor not too sweet. The quality here is just top notch, everything is home made and even items imported from Europe for better quality. We had the pleasure of speaking with Florencia, the corporate manager/CEO who was ABSOLUTELY lovely. Definitely give this one a try. Multiple locations too!

Ham & Cheese Medialuna, wedding cookies, cappuccino and London fog

What a hidden gem! I can't believe I didn't know this place existed. Not only was the food incredibly good, but the service was also warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in. We ordered the ham and cheese medialunas, which were surprisingly large (in a good way!) and very fresh. They reminded me of a Mallorca sandwich (if you know you know) that perfect balance of sweet and savory. My husband had a London Fog with almond milk and said it was one of the best he's ever had. The Mexican wedding cookies were so delicious that we ended up grabbing extras to take home. We also picked up a large baguette that had just come out of the oven it smelled amazing and it was hard not to tear into it on the drive back. We'll definitely be coming back. The menu is simple and not overwhelming, and everything looked fresh and thoughtfully prepared.

Entry way you can sit comfortably at the lounge chairs. Also have all pastries on display!

I got the veggie croissant with a vanilla cappuccino. It was 10/10 the croissant tasted like a pizza it was sooooo good! Came with a side salads that was immaculate! They also have tea time I inserted pictures of the tea time menu. The service is great super sweet employee. Def good for brunch or tea with the girls. Good study place it's got a real calm environment and even maybe good for a date! Update: the employee was so sweet she was by herself at the front and felt that I was waiting too long (which for me I was 100% understanding and did not mind waiting) so she treated me to a pastry as I bought my matcha to go. When I say customer service 10/10!! Beautiful business I will definitely be back!!! Pastry and matcha picture included!

I saw an Instagram video raving about this new Argentinian cafe and had to come check it out. Plenty of parking, easy to get to, and this cafe fills a coffee void in that area that was very much needed. We got a small white mocha, a ristretto, and an alfajor. The cookie was tasty, the white mocha was average (the dark roast bean flavor overpowered the syrup), and the ristretto tasted burnt. The cafe was cute and had a friendly community feel, but I'd emphasize the cafe part over the coffee part of the menu if you're interested in trying this place out!

Chicken salad croissant, caesar salad, strawberry salad.

The food is good for what it is. A nice clean menu, items are a bit pricey but the flavor definitely meets the price. I got a pumpkin chai latte that was very cinnamon-y but otherwise balanced. The interior was clean and quiet, a great spot for working and the service was attentive.

Mocha & Croissant were absolutely delicious. The ambiance is very lax and it seemed like the owners were there and were very hands on/helpful. Will absolutely be coming back!

The most amazingly buttery doughy croissant. sorry I couldn't wait for the photo

Best croissant in north houston. You can actually taste the butter. Not cheap but you actually get what you pay for. I'll def be back to try the food.

A beautiful space just opened up in the neighborhood! Panicafe is a lovely little coffee shop (I believe there are several of these in Spain?). They just opened a couple of weeks ago. I came in for a little pick me up and got the hazelnut latte (delicious and smooth! Not too sweet) and they suggested I get the medialuna- their speciality (Argentinian croissant that has a sweetened dough). I've never had one before. I find that it is different than the French croissant- but it was just the right density and sweetness for my tastes. Seems like it is a little more dense and doughier than a French croissant. They also let me sample some lemon tea and wedding cookies and they were so sweet to me while I was taking my time and looking at the menu and other items. So excited to have this offering near me. I will need to come back to sample some of their savory options- sandwiches and salads.

Why 5 stars? Because this long awaited visit was so worth the wait…read more --- --- --- This was one of those places I have not only had on my list forever, but I've tried to go a comical amount of times. Somehow, someway, it seems to never work out for me. But it finally happened and I'm mad at myself that it took so long. Probably 2+ years ago a friend and I were at a local sub shop in Sugar Land, and he mentioned how Blimpie was always his favorite. I couldn't even remember if I'd ever been to a Blimpie, but I saw that there happened to be one, so I bookmarked it on that day, and it haunted me ever since. Blimpie cares not about decor or vibes, but they do make an absolutely incredible sandwich. The menu is unique, in that each sandwich is basically just one ingredient different than the sandwich above it. I opted for the Blimpie Best Deluxe on parmesan bre The bread was pillowy soft. The flavor of the sandwich was absolute perfection. It somehow got better each bite. I could not believe how much I liked it and how sad I was when it was over. It will probably torment me indefinitely that I didn't order the larger sandwich. I will prevail. And I will visit again. My question though, is very simply: why did Blimpie almost completely go away? It's light years better than Subway.

A Blimpie with a 4.8 on Yelp and 4.5 on Google Maps... seriously? You know this Yelper had to…read moreinvestigate. For context, I'm a Subway loyalist. I used to eat it daily back when a full meal was $4.99, and I've even had Subway in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. So yes, I have a calibrated palate for mass‑market sandwiches. They've got a handful of subs on special, but for a couple bucks more I went with my usual Italian--here called the "Italiano"--on Cheddar Jalapeño bread. And of course I did the footlong because size does matter. I asked for it toasted, only to discover they use a panini press, which flattens the bread like a stress test. Not my favorite. Ironically, I used to love Blimpie's oven‑style toast before Subway even offered it. They do have a separate oven for melting cheese, and that part I absolutely recommend. The sandwich itself was very good and definitely in Subway territory. For $1.29 you can grab a self‑serve cookie--critical, because I can select the front‑row cookie with the maximum chip‑to‑dough ratio. Fresh daily, solid flavor, very Subway‑adjacent. But I still prefer Subway's footlong cookie. It's a personality trait at this point. Staff was extremely friendly. I'm pretty sure the owner was working the counter, unless a gentleman of his seniority just enjoys staying busy or needs the cash, which is increasingly common these days. Honestly, that personal touch is probably what gives this place an edge over Subway. Pepsi products here. Acceptable, but I'm a Coke person. Blimpie is becoming an endangered species, even though it predates Subway by a year. But overall, I still think Subway has the stronger product.
