A friend and I had a afternoon snack on a Sunday and panini kabob delivered a very satisfying experience, this location was very dog friendly on their outdoor patio and gave water is a disposable bowl for my friend's french bulldog. I never made a review. Never believed in these because of how harsh people can be. Then the employees and managers are looked bad at because customers who have never worked in the industry knows how it is. Ive been coming here a few months with my girlfriend and the food is always amazing. I always get a chicken kabob which is hands down the best. Everytime we walk in we are greeted by everyone and treated well. We have seen how rude guests can be with these employees and managers. Theres two i have seen here a guy manager with glasses and a lady with black shirts. They always check up on us and make sure we are happy with our meals. Reason we are writing now is because we have seen how mean guests can be and if corporate for this business actually reads these helps then just know your employees do an amazing job. We had Panini Kabob Grill cater for an event at work. It was really good. There were a bunch of platters with a lot of food. The chicken was really good. I loved the spices and was cooked perfectly. The hummus was delicious. It had some nice almost Smokey flavoring to it that I really enjoyed. The rice was cooked perfectly. I would have liked a little more veggies in the platter. I think this place is a great option for catering work events. You get a full platter of food, which makes it easy. read more

We went on a Saturday and they were definitely understaffed. The staff were definitely not happy to be there and it showed. It took 20 minutes to get water to the table and we had to remind them we needed silverware after our food came. They can't split bills more than 3 ways among individuals. They can split it equally 3 ways. We do not plan on coming back and do not recommend coming here to others. We finished eating 40 minutes ago and they have not pre-bussed our table. I'll start by saying that we eat at PKG often and usually enjoy the food and experience. The kabob is tasty and usually conistent. Recently we had a bad experience with an online order, and it also happens to be the first time ordering from or eating at this Los Olivos location. On a Monday evening I ordered a family combo with koobideh kabob and the ground beef was completely raw inside. I immediately called the restaurant to let them know and see what they can do to remedy the issue. After waiting on hold for over 5 minutes, I was told the manager would call me back. No one called back so we ended up having to cook the meat ourselves in a pan. Two days passed and no one ever contacted me, so I called back again on Wednesday and was told by the manager to email photos, which I did... still no response. It's now been a week and management has done nothing. I guess they think it's OK to serve raw meat to guests. read more

Los Olivos Market Place is By far the best PKG location. This was my 2nd visit to this location and you have to dine here to understand why it surpases the others. Mike Alvari, the manager is so warm, happy and welcoming. His "happiness" spills over to the employees and customers alike. It is well worth the extra 15 minute drive for us to eat at this location over Corona del Mar or Irvine, on Michelson, IMO. All locations have good food, but Los Olivos offers so much more -- excellent service, a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere - everything to elevate your dining experience. If I could bottle up Mike's approach from how he runs his restaurant and treats people, to the genuine love he puts into his "work," I'd take it with me everywhere - it's the missing ingredient to other locations. Don't confuse Los Olivos, Irvine with the Irvine Michelson location -- you will be disappointed, as that atmosphere is anything but welcoming and relaxed...but, their food is good. Thank you, Mike, Angelo, Enrique and everyone at Los Olivos PKG for making my birthday so perfect -- Well worth the drive from Redondo Beach to meet my family from Newport -- I knew after my first time at your restaurant, there was no where else I wanted to celebrate another year. I really enjoy Panini Kabob food. This is my second time eating at this location. The service the first time around was not the best but this time they redeemed themselves. Our server was amazing! I've never tried their lamb kabobs and our server highly recommended it. Based on his recommendation I ordered the lamb kabobs with the Caesar salad and the Mediterranean salad as my sides. We added the Appetizer Combo to start. Very good. For my Chicken I chose the Pilaf while everyone else ordered the Basmati. Two very different carb loaded dishes, both were delightful, but I would probably give the edge to the Basmati. The Appetizer Combo was good, large plate. But felt like they could have added some more falafels. Service was great. Attentive--although a little slow to get our togo boxes. The restaurant has outdoor seating, indoor bar seating, and tables and chairs. With walls adorned by pictures, you feel like you're in a rustic restaurant. Very good overall food and experience.
