Long time customer disappointed in service / worse management response. Opened the box to a sloppily cut pizza with some slices tiny and others a quarter of the pie. Pepperoni was barely on half the pizza. When I contacted the manager and offered to send a pic I was told "The pizzas are hand cut and slices can vary, and toppings can slide to the middle." I asked the manager to judge for herself with a picture, but nothing further was offered. I said if this was all she had to say I would not be back. I don't like pizza, mainly because no where around here makes a pizza that doesn't drip grease from all sides. Me and my wife got pizza from here last night because pizza is her favorite food group. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Not greasy , cooked right, crust perfect. Even with the sausage, meatball,bacon and ham there still wasn't any grease. Close to if not the best pizza in this area ... however, their delivery service is poor. Having gotten too many lukewarm and soggy pizzas delivered, I mentioned this to a manager awhile ago, but it kept happening, I stayed away for awhile and recently decided to give them another chance. That didn't work out - the pizza arrived lukewarm and soggy (and I'm only 3-4 blocks away). Maybe they haven't gotten enough complaints or maybe they just don't care. I would not mind waiting up to an hour if the pizza was hot when I got it. I believe the problem is they send out too many for delivery at one time. If I were to describe my meal from Panini Pizzeria I would have to say that this was the single worst wrap I have ever had. I've had better wraps from McDonalds! There were NO croutons, they didn't use romaine lettuce, the chicken wasn't grilled (more like warmed up in a microwave) and there was NO CAESAR DRESSING!!! This is supposed to be a CAESAR WRAP! How can you eat a caesar wrap without caesar dressing! Of the five ingredients listed on the menus description, 4 of them did not exist! Upon further inspection of the menu, I noticed this 'delectable' caesar wrap was a customer favorite. Which raises an interesting question, what customer thought this wrap was good? Did he not have any taste buds or a tongue for that matter? Did you force feed him until he agreed it was his favorite? I am so glad I didn't try one of the 'non favorites' on the menu. I wish I could regurgitate this wrap as I feel like it is contaminating my stomach! This will be the last time I go to to Panini Pizzeria unless I am handsomely bribed. read more

Great local place! We have gotten food from here many times and will continue to do so. The pizza is a little inconsistent--sometimes I love it and other times it's good but doesn't wow me like the first time I had it. A large cheese is $7.99 on Sundays, though, and you can't go wrong with that. We have gotten a few salads and sandwiches here, too--husband loves the chicken parm sub, and I've really enjoyed the Italian and Chipotle paninis as the meat/chicken have been delicious and the bread is really excellent. A couple family members got the turkey artichoke panini and really liked that, too. Caesar and Greek salads have been good, though I would not recommend the Greek wrap as the dressing was lacking and the iceberg lettuce was a little droopy/wilty. Glad to stop by and be the very first customer at the new Wenham, Ma location. Even though they weren't totally open yet, they gladly made me a gluten mushroom pizza that rocked. Dough was fresh, sauce was sweet and just the perfect amount cheese and mushrooms. I met both owners and new staff and everyone is super nice and accommodating. This is the best Pizza bar none on the North Shore and perhaps Massachusetts! We were so excited to have Santarpio's come to the northshore but it doesn't hold a candle to Panini Pizza! Pizza is just ok. Nothing special. Much better pizza at other pizza places that you should try first. On top of the pizza being just ok, theyre extremely expensive. I had a $16.99 coupon for 2 lg cheese pizzas. I added pepperoni to 1 pizza and it was over $21. BEWARE the staff is EXTREMELY RUDE, unfriendly and generally seem annoyed having to wait on you(meaning ringing you up and giving you your food). I have never been welcomed, no hi or hello, just never been thanked or appreciated as a customer in any way shape and form. The most miserable and unfriendly staff ive encountered in years. There is no parking so good luck trying to pick anything up. Their door doesnt close on its own and when your carrying pizza it can be tedious. Forget the staff helping you with the door, but they'll sure make it known if you dont close it. Try them and see this all for yourself. Its very DIRTY in there as well. I dont think its mopped/swept or cleaned other than the tables really. Just try anywhere else and save yourself the aggrivation. read more

Best pizza in Danvers! The Roma specialty pizza (a white pizza with tomatoes and garlic) is great everytime. They use a little cornmeal on the crust which adds a nice texture and reminds me of good old Santarpio's. Mmmm. The panini's are okay, but I'm kind of a panini snob. I've only had one from here, and it was a little too thick and not really pressed enough. I'll stick to making my own paninis, but this is the go to place for great pizza in town. Love the food here, I've had their pizza and a few different subs. Their portions are huge, definitely saved some for leftovers! It is definitely a great go-to when I don't feel like cooking anything myself, or if I want to meet up with friends somewhere easy and casual. Something for everyone here. read more

Tried the chicken pesto panini and a slice of pizza. Pizza is great...some of the best on the north shore and probably the best in Danvers. The panini was good but not memorable. The staff was friendly and accommodating. However the store itself was messy. Tables where previous customers had eaten were covered in crumbs and chairs were left out, not pushed in. Best pizza in Danvers. I've been eating at all of the take-out places in Danvers religiously for the last 2 years and I have to say this is by far the best when it comes to pizza. Did I mention I'm a pizza addict? This was exactly what I had been waiting for. I've tried many of the pizzas with roma being my favorite. Although, I ask (when getting a red pizza) for light sauce because I find the pizza to have too much sauce. I also recommend asking for the pizza "crispy" as I feel like they could be cooked a little longer. They catered to my request and I was very impressed with the result. A large pizza will definitely feed two people. Other than the pizza, their paninis are also good. My only complaint is that like the pizza, the bread on the panini is a little too soft and could be cooked longer. I had the chipotle chicken panini and it's definitely one of the best paninis I've had, although I wish it too was crispier. Be aware that there is hardly any parking, seriously only 1.5 spaces, so don't bother trying to fit into the tiny parking lot, the street is fine. I have ordered from many restaurants in the Danvers and Beverly area. This restaurant is my favorite. I plan to order from this restaurant from now on when I order take out. I have had their open faced veggie sandwich (my favorite), pizza, and the soups. The beef stew is unbelievable!! Wenham location. Service is always friendly and they are great for take-out. Very good pizza with a distinctive crust. Best in the area. Have tried the New Yorker, BBQ Pizza and Mediterranean and all are very good. One word of advice on the Mediterranean - please start using Kalamata olives instead of generic black olives on this pizza. It really makes all the difference in the world for a Mediterranean/Greek Style pizza. I'd certainly pay more for it. Everything else about it was perfect. read more

It's a bit off the beaten path and you wouldn't see it driving through Danvers Square, but this place has great pizza. We order about twice a month and we've tried almost all of their specialty pies - both the Red and White offerings. We ordered a dozen different pizzas for a birthday party and everybody was impressed with this place. Can't say that we've tried many of their wraps & sandwiches - we just stick to their pizza. You can find cheaper prices in Danvers Square, but the quality pies you'll get from Panini are 2nd to none. read more

I've enjoyed panini pizza for several years, & I think its the best pizza in Danvers. However, something has gone off the rails there this year. I've had a number of bad experiences where my pizza has been delivered cold, the cheese has slid off in the Box, delivery times taking 2 hours or more and when you try to call to find out what's going on the phone has been taking off the hook.I'm not sure what has changed or is going wrong but if they continue to disappoint I'm going to bring my business elsewhere. read more

Recently ordered their signature Pizza,The Roma ! Went and picked up the Pizza with two other pizza's . What a disappointment. When i opened the box the Roma had no Mozzarella cheese.I then opened the other box which was cheese and it looked like someone cut a chunk out of the center. I called the store and some young kid answered. I explained to him what had happened and he asked someone in the store what to do and he came back to me and asked me what I wanted them to do about it. This is probably the most unsanitary restaurant in Danvers. Some staff members handle the food improperly, and dirty cleaning items are kept directly near the open meats and vegetables. This pizza place is not good. Everything from the the food,experience and atmosphere was awful. Upon walking in to look at the menu I was greeted with stares like I had ten heads and got very bad attitude from the older lady who looked like her whole life has been spent in a pizza place and she hated her life, no smile, just order and get out type of feel. After placing out order we tried to find a clean table to sit at and enjoy the view of the square but all the tables where dirty and smeared in crap. Upon finding a what was cleaner of the few tables, even though it wasn't clean, we sat and ate our pizza that the rude lady suggested to us. The pizza felt all around grimy and as if it had been sitting around for a some time and then just reheated. The Hawaiian pizza had bailed any toppings or whatever the bare minimum is to put on a pizza. Throughout the whole time of eating and quietly talking I kept getting glanced at by what looked to be the female manager like we where going to steal something or take one of there salt shakers. While eating this bad reheated pizza and being watched by a hawkeye sitting at there dirty table I would not recommend or I would never go back to this establishment again. First time ordering from here & last. Got delivery, took 50 minutes on a Sunday night. Pizza was made wrong & cold when we opened the box. I called and spoke with a man who answered the phone, told him the problem and he never said a word to me & just passed the phone to a young woman and she says what can I help you with. So I repeat what I just told the man who answered and she says " I can send you out a small meatball pizza ". A meatball pizza wasn't even what my original order was!!! I want the pizza I originally ordered remade and brought out to us. She said" I don't know what else I can do for you, if you want a small meatball pizza I can send that out. I can't fathom why I just can't get my original order!!! Poor customer service at best, it's too bad cause the pizza wasn't half bad after microwaved for a minute until hot. Many other places in Danvers to order from and if they made a mistake they would make it right and send you out your original order, not offer you a small meatball pizza for their mistake! read more
