Such RUDE hostesses. We met my husband here for a late lunch and he was watching the Indians game on the patio. We asked a server if we could move from the bar to a table and she sent us to the hostess stand to be seated. No problem. When I approached the hostess stand I obviously interrupted a bitch session and when I asked to be seated on the practically empty patio so we could still watch the game she snapped at me. I asked to be seated so that we could watch the game and she sat us clear on the other side of the patio with no view of the TV. I asked her once again and she said "this is fine right here". She was very rude. When the server came over she graciously moved us to another table. No manager came to check on us...after we requested to speak to one. read more

Good food, busy night and they were packed. We sat in a booth and our beer bottle service was slow, our food was hot and fresh, music loud and common for the Saturday night atmosphere. Big ticker display was a surprise and a nice feature for sport fans. Would return for sporting events. read more

I try to like this place. Serving are always inconsistent and taste is never the same. I came in today getting something "I knew I'd like" for it to be terrible. They open at 11 but didn't unlock until 1130. They're busy which is good to see but they don't care. The kitchen person unlocked the door IN HIS GLOVES! *barf! I will probably still visit and they have great beers. Too bad they can't be properly managed because it would be insanely successful! read more

We had a tournament near by and called Panini's and asked them if they could serve our team and parents. We ended up having a party of more than 50 people. Panini's had tables ready when we walked up with water. Service was pleasant and prompt. We had great meals and drink and left in enough time to make the next game. Bravo! Never going back again to this place. Its horrible. 1st time they served me raw chicken. 2nd time they forgot my sandwich. 3rd and final time picked up an order. Everything was stone cold and greasy. My spinach artichoke dip had about 2T of grease resting ontop of it. My friends fish sandwich was so greasy he couldn't finish it. I have been 2 1 other paninis and it was good. I think the food is good (especially their pizza) and so is the service. The thing that turns me off is the servers in shorts so small and tight they look like underpants. I think that servers should have some dignity and wear clothes for sanitary reasons. Shorts are OK in the summer, how about at least mid thigh or lower? Last night, I went there with my husband and another couple. Music was way too loud. My husband's meal included coleslaw. He didn't eat all of it. As our server was clearing our table, she accidentally spilled it on the table, ME, the bench, and the floor. She acted like it was no big deal. Right away said to my husband, "I didn't get you did I?" . No, but she spilled most of it on me, on my brand new shirt. Both she and my husband made light of it. But guess what? I pretreated it and put it in the washer as soon as we got home, and the oily stains are STILL there! She avoided us for a while, as she knew I was upset. Sent the manager to us eventually, since my husband said she should give us a free round of drinks. She had said, "I can't do that! It'll come out of my pay!" Ok, So I have been to this bar/restaurant many times on a Friday during happy hour and have stayed till bar close.........thats how much fun it is up there. They have a gorgeous outside patio with full bar and a fire pit, bartenders are extremely friendly and love making fun new shots for you to try!!!! Me and my friends have gone up on many fridays after work and before we knew LAST CALL! We always meet new fun, friendly people there and just have a blast. We got to know the bartenders and they are so fun and nice always making sure everyone is taken care of. Now I have been inside the restaurant twice and both times order the grilled cheese. first time me and a friend went early in the afternoon, there were about 3 other tables..........it took FOREVER for someone to come greet us! When we got our grilled cheese sandwiched we wanted to puke.......HORRIBLE!!!!!! I have been to the paninis in strongsville and their grilled cheese is amazing! So I went back yesterday after work to meet up with a friend. We were seated right away. My friend asked if there were any drink specials and our waitress looked at us and said "i dont know what time is it" WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my jaw dropped YOU ARE THE WAITRESS, YOU tell ME what time it is and what specials you have, dont look at us to tell you! Anyways, again i ordered the grilled cheese and this time i was more satisfied.....actually i ate the whole darn thing......oops! Our waitress dropped off the little black book with the bill and before we even had a chance to put our money in it, she grabbed the book and said "ill be back with your change" WHAT! we didnt stop her, we let her her feel dumb....she came back and apologized, we got a good laugh out of it. I ordered shrimp tacos, cold soft shells, a few breaded chopped up shrimp with a lot of sauce, it came with cheap round corn chips, and salsa.My spouse ordered the panini sandwich (not so overstuffed these days), which is the best thing on the menu, but that's not saying much. Tall domestic draft was close to $5, seems a bit pricey for the atmosphere. The service matches the food, OK, at best. We put in a reservation at 5:45 on a Tuesday for a decent size group....didn't end up getting our food until 7:20. I ordered the single serving pizza with side Caesar salad. Pizza was good and no complaints for the typical side Caesar salad. Friends ordered another pizza and the jumbo pretzels. Can't say there's anything really worth going here vs other places. Has a nice sized outdoor patio, however, the seating is very uncomfortable and the speaker volume is WAY too loud. Other tables complained as well. Server took a long time to get our initial drink order. Plates for our appetizers were dirty, while the napkins had dead spiders on them. Had to ask for silverware. Really?! Appetizers were overcooked, specifically our cheese wedges were crunchy and had zero cheese left in them from cooking too long. Wife and I waited with empty glasses for a long time. Guess they don't want the extra revenue. It wasn't even that busy... on a Sunday! Had a cheesesteak with mac n cheese. Sandwich was bland, with very little onion. Was small as well. Mac n cheese tasted like it was frozen and microwaved. Overall I'd say there are too many good places in the area with better food, atmosphere and service. We had never been and didn't feel like sitting in a restaurant, so we drove up and ordered carryout: an overstuffed cheese steak sandwich. The order was out promptly, but this was a very bland, tasteless sandwich. The slaw was crunchy but lacked flavor. I just got finished dining there. Had drinks and a Ruben and it was good. I also ordered a cheese steak sandwich to go for my son. There was some confusion when another to go order came out, so I decided to check and make sure I had a cheese steak. Opened it up and pulled the bread back to find a morsel of steak the size of a half dollar sitting on a mound of french fries, cheese and tomato. I brought it to the bartenders attention and told him I have nothing but a french fry sandwich here. He says everything is portion controlled, so he can make another, but it will be the same. So I talk to them manager and get the same attitude. I pull the bread off the other side and the portion size was better. He says "well all the meat was on one side". No excuse for a poorly made sandwich. I had them make another one and they did so without a problem, but it was really ridiculous that I had to defend myself over the poor quality while they acted like there was nothing wrong with it. I work had for my money and have a hard time paying $10 for a french fry sandwich and it was very annoying to have 2 dumb asses act like there was nothing wrong with it. You'd think after copying from Primanti Bros. that they'd get it right. read more

My family loves this place. Casual and comfortable, the kids can be kids and not worry about being too loud. The service is always personable and not mechanical like most places you these days. My husband and I love the Panini sandwiches and the wings and the kids always get a pizza. Have never been disappointed yet. I'm laughing at some of the other reviews, if you walk away hungry after eating a Panini sandwich, I just don;t know what to say. Besides there is huge menu too chose from with wraps, burger and all the other selections. This is a great neighborhood bar and grill and in addition they always support the community. I guess all these other reviewers just don't get it because they are all from out of town. read more
