    Fettucine Panko

I enjoyed our meal here. Very unique menu items and definitely worth a try. If I can recommend one thing: ask for the house-made hot sauce. We got it at the end and I instantly regretted not having it throughout the meal. It's awesome. I told our server she should recommend that to everyone right from the start. It elevates everything. I love Lomo Saltado, and got it off the brunch menu. The Beef and egg were on point. Not as excited about the bean and rice base instead of french fries, as it was a bit bland. With the hot sauce though it's actually very good. The Peruvian Seafood Stew was the best dish. Similar to paella, and really darn good. Loved it. (did I mention the hot sauce will elevate it?) Fettucine Panko was fine, nothing special to note. and the salmon nigiri can be skipped. The flavoring was bland and seemed to take away from the salmon itself. I'd have preferred it plain with wasabi, unfortunately. All in all I liked the cool ambiance and decor and enjoyed the meal.

I have traveled to Peru several times and it's my favorite cuisine. I'm new to CLT and I'm not sure why there are so many live DJ sets at these Peruvian restaurants here it really detracts from the quality and experience of the food. The staff is very knowledgeable about the ingredients and taste profiles. We had mostly sushi and some appetizers but the Panko causa and Niko roll are incredible! I wish the ambience could improve and they could provide a more relaxing experience instead of blasting loud dj mixes.

Really enjoyed our dinner here! We sat on the patio which was lovely. They also start you out with complimentary plantain chips and the most delicious dip. The one thing I didn't love is that all of their sushi rolls have cream cheese in it. They said they could modify, but I don't actually think they did. It was still a tasty roll, just not my preference in sushi! We split the following for a table of 2 and were satisfied: - kimchi shrimp - delicious. Think bang bang shrimp. Super tasty! - panko causa - very unique dish. The passionfrui milk it's sitting in is absolutely delicious. The potato is a little bland, but it was still enjoyable and fun to try. - passion nigiri - loved the passion fruit / mango / ginger combo. Super fresh!! - Niko roll - a little creamy for my "sushi preference," but the flavor was awesome. The Parmesan was subtle but a fun add! Would be interested to come back and try the cocktail menu and more plates. Definitely a good place to share dishes and try a bite of everything.

I enjoyed my meal here for the most part! Our server (I don't recall his name) was a bit rude but could have just been having a bad night. The food came out quickly, and the tuna sashimi was excellent, as was the garlic butter seafood appetizer. I enjoyed the steak, though the potato puree was cold and portion sizes were inconsistent (3/4 people in my party ordered the steak). To drink I ordered a glass of Lambrusco which was served warm -not my preference as this is a sparkling wine and should be served chilled. The Peruvian custard was fine, just not my taste as it was extremely sweet. I don't have anything to compare to though. I enjoyed the restaurants ambience but I think they should pay more attention to the food and less on the over the top decorations and presentation.

Panko is wonderful! The environment is welcoming. The water cups were always filled. Food and drinks came out in the perfect amount of time. The dishes are beautifully plated. The food was flavorful and portioned as expected. I love the music they play here! The whole atmosphere is perfect for date night, dinner with friends, etc.

A sucker for Peruvian food here...and any day or time. We were so happy with Panko in NoDa! The service excellent, food presentation and taste very unique, and ambiance cosy! The 'Shells On Fire' and a Pisco Sour were my top favs. But the sushi is really good, they have some awesome rolls. And I absolutely love the plates they serve on, heavy stone granite. Took some cool videos as well that you can go check out on Insta - @foodievida I think this one will be a keeper in the Charlotte food scene!

This was an incredible place from tip to toe We were lucky to call for reservation that night and they did (after a small payment that later went to our check, which is fair) The cocktails were on another level. Worth going just to try them all out. Food wise the ceviches were amazing. Would love to go again. There was a dj playing some kind of EDM but not noisy enough were you had to tell 100% recommended

Came here for a small birthday dinner and everything was a 10/10! The vibes, the servers, the drinks, the food and the decor -- no complaints! The Kimchi Shrimp is a man absolute must but everything was delicious

Very cool new concept in Noda with a wide selection of seafood, poultry and beef dishes. It was very delicious. A somewhat limited cocktail menu, however they have a full bar and can make any drink upon request. Wonderful decor and the wait staff was very friendly. I'll be back to try a few different things.

I LOVE Peruvian food so I was super excited to see Panko was opening this week. I immediately got a reservation as soon as they were available, and off we went. Unfortunately it just wasn't for me and I don't plan on going back. It really comes down to a few things - menu, atmosphere, and drinks. To sum it up, it felt more like club food than a refined restaurant, the drinks were overly sweet, and there's a neon flashing pyramid/triangle in the middle of the dining room. "Immature" is probably too harsh, but it feels like it's targeted to a college age crowd that's wowed by faux luxury. The amount of cream cheese on the menu was surprising lol. The best thing about our experience was the service - our server was incredibly nice and friendly, she was enthusiastic about the dishes and treated us extremely well. We started with the Shells on Fire and the Loin Bonbons. The Shells on Fire was a good start, the seafood and sauce all tasted great. The Loin Bonbons didn't really do much for me, they were fine. The "house" cocktail lineup was also a little cringy - all of them basically included syrup and juice, and they were served in specialty mugs/cups that added to the campiness of it all. I can see what they were going for, but (in my opinion) the decision makers lack sophistication and taste. It felt touristy. Next came the Lomo Saltado, and unfortunately the beef was tough and overcooked even though we requested medium-rare. The sauce/gravy was nice. My favorite dish by far, and the only dish I would order again was the Evil Eby Niguiri. The prawns and sauce worked extremely well together and it was easily the most refined dish of the night. We also got the Tuna Niguiri but the tuna was a little bland and overall not close to the Evil Eby. We ended with the Flan (Crema Volteada). It was extra dense compared to what I'm used to. I appreciate living in a city that's getting new restaurants and chefs popping up and I'm glad Panko is here. But if you're looking for the best Peruvian food in Charlotte, I highly recommend Yunta and La Lima. They're still some of the best restaurants Charlotte has to offer.

Went here this past weekend for a birthday/date night, and the experience was amazing start to finish. Our server Harold made sure that we had a great time and provided us with incredible service and recommendations. I was going to order the pisco sour, and he recommended adding passion fruit - it was delicious! It was so hard to choose what to order since it all looked so good. The kimchi shrimp was amazing as a starter, and our meals (fettucini panko and picanha) were both great. Definitely will be going back again!

Really delicious offerings here. I loved the Inca Mixed Ceviche - fresh flavor and beautiful presentation. The tuna nigiri was served with a pico on top and flavorful sauce. I liked the atmosphere, but did find it loud and the flashing DJ booth to be a lot for a 6:15 reservation (would have expected that a bit later in the evening.) Margaritas were good, but other cocktail offerings were pricey and I do wish sangria was available by the glass instead of carafe only. I hope they'll make some updates as they go - maybe some more variety to their rolls to exclude cream cheese as there was only one without it. Great new addition to Noda!

We had a fantastic meal at Panko! The restaurant had a great vibe, the service was very good even though it was a busy Friday night, and both the food and drinks were stellar! I loved how many pisco mix drink options they had, and got a hot wine which was delicious. We got two ceviche dishes to share, and I had the Caribbean seafood rice bowl, and every bite was amazing. Definitely recommend checking this place out!

High-quality comfort food is served up in this scenic NoDa converted former residence…read more I attended Sunday brunch at Goodyear as part of a family gathering. Admittedly, I would probably have never eaten here on my own. While the web site says it's known for eclectic, chef driven fare, what I see is a menu which barely differs from that of several nearby chains. Chicken wings, burgers, fries, mac & cheese, salads and sandwiches, nothing to convince me to make the trek into Charlotte. And the brunch menu is nearly the same as lunch with just a handful of extra mostly eggy options added. But the food was quite good, certainly a step up from the local McAppleChiliWings down the street. The sausage gravy on my chicken biscuit was delicious (and used only to complement the dish, not drown it). The portions were also large, the only person who finished their plate was my 93-year old mother-in-law (because...she can. I guess). Very pretty place - I'd opt for outdoor seating weather-permitting as the sound level indoors is quite loud (lowering the music volume a notch or two would be a benefit). Goodyear caters to wedding groups, there was a shower taking place while we were there which actually held up our service a bit (not a big deal, gave our family extra time to talk). OK, so saying Goodyear House exceeded my expectations isn't a very high bar. How about if I say that I'd be happy to eat here again!

Goodyear house has good ambiance, but can't give them much more than that. We sat at 7pm on Friday…read more We ordered the bread appetizer. They were completely out of bread. I ordered the trout. They were out of trout. At 7:15pm on a Friday night. Whichever manager is in charge of stocking needs to take a good long look in the mirror. I pivoted to ribeye and the steak was extremely fatty. Not a great cook and the sauce (Diannes sauce) is basically a gravy and thank god i did not get that directly on my steak. The burger was small for being $18. The candle was fake and dimming even though there was soot on the votive glass- clearly showing they have downgraded or cut costs because there are no real candles on the table anymore. Overall very disappointed.
