The service was terrific and the restaurant was light and bright. Lots of space between tables and a huge space. Cute washrooms. Now the food. We split the pancakes and the chicken with waffles. The pancakes may have been the best that I have ever had and I bought some of the blueberry compote to take home. The chicken was delicious and a savory foil to the sweetness of the pancakes.

I went on a Saturday around 9:00 AM, and there was already a line of about seven people ahead of me. Since I was dining solo, I grabbed a seat at the kitchen bar, which ended up being a fun spot to watch everything happening. I ordered the mango mimosa and the wild blueberry pancakes. Mildred's has some of the best pancakes I have ever had. They were fluffy, flavorful and absolutely lived up to the hype. The mango mimosa was a little too sweet for my taste, but I would still love to come back and try more of their menu. The staff were friendly, although service was a bit slow to start. It took about 15 to 18 mins before I got water and was able to place my order. Overall, I can absolutely see why this place has such a great reputation. I waited over a decade to try it, and it was well worth the wait.

This place looks like a fairly typical breakfast spot, offering a good amount of seating, large menus for both breakfast and Lunch, and of course, a ton of different pancake options! I'm usually not someone who orders temporary menu items or specials, but the second I saw the S'More Toffee Lava Pancakes I almost had a heart attack, so of course, I ordered the stupid pancakes to avoid such an problem. The food didn't take too long to come out, and they looked even better in person than they did in the menu. Maybe I'm just a little over enthusiastic about these pancakes, but I can pretty confidently say these may of been the best pancakes I've ever had. They were big, fluffy, and this plate did not skimp on the toppings at all. Overall, Stacked Pancake & Breakfast has definitely become a go-to spot for me when returning to Toronto. The food here was phenomenal and even though it took us almost 30 minutes for someone to give us a bill and let us pay, the pancakes were too good for me to get hung up on that. If you need some breakfast in the Queen/Spadina area, this is the place to go!

The atmosphere was so cute, and comfortable, they had new large yellow mugs that was yolk coloured, and beautiful hand crafted drinks with pretty pictures in the foam. I was very surprised to see the quality here, as most places just give you a straight pour of foam on top and it doesn't feel like a barista made your drink. It truly was so delightful to see the care they took with making their food and the presentation was just beautiful! The food also was excellent! My bacon was perfectly cooked, I don't like chewy bacon, they made the perfect crispy not burnt bacon I've ever had. The eggs were perfectly poached, and the excess whites were removed for the presentation, and my eggs were nested into my bacon, sitting in a bed of salad. My goodness was I ever so impressed. I would expect this from a Michelin star restaurant, and with slower service, but I'm thoroughly impressed with the speed of the food, service, and again quality of everything. My friend had the chicken and waffles. This was so close to perfect, I didn't like the seasoning on the chicken which was too flavourful for me, but the crunch, moisture in the chicken, the soft but dense waffle, and the maple butter combination... there is nothing better than this! I asked for my strawberry butter to be subbed they did it, and there was not extra charges on our bills for silly items like this. This place is solid! Exceptional quality of food, service, and over all experience. I didn't think I could find a place to truly enjoy going out to eat, but this one just blew my mind. Thank you to all the staff for making our meal experience one we will remember for a very long time.

This one popped up on my radar and I thought I'm going to go check it out. Located in a home Depot shopping center, it was pretty easy to find. Upon entering the place, it had a very cheery bright atmosphere. I was able to grab myself a table and take a seat. Robin, my server, was there in a heartbeat to grab me some coffee. The coffee itself is very tasty, they have a fairly comprehensive menu, and had plenty of options. One thing I was actually stunned about was the low prices. A breakfast of two eggs, bacon and home fries was only $6.99. I jumped in and ordered a couple upgrades including a pancake on the side and the peameal bacon. Again, this was one of the most amazing meals I've had. I had never experienced this type of bacon before, and now I am absolutely hooked. Everything overall was cooked perfectly. Seasoned excellently and I can't say enough nice things about this place. Service was on point, food and atmosphere was all there. Bottom line? I will definitely be hitting this place again, and you should too. The portions are generous, and you definitely leave feeling full and satisfied without the overly heavy feeling that you sometimes get after brunch. My wife ordered a custom avocado toast, which was beautifully presented and full of colour and fresh ingredients. It was a great combination of freshness and flavour. I went with the Sisters Breakfast Sandwich, which came with bacon, scrambled eggs, caramelized onions and American cheese on a soft brioche bun, served with a side salad. The combination of the savoury bacon, creamy eggs, caramelized onions and cheese worked really well together, and the brioche bun added a nice touch. One thing that really stood out was the service. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. They regularly checked in to make sure everything was okay, and they even made a point of checking on our dog to see if he needed more water. That extra level of attention really made us feel welcome, especially as dog owners. Overall, Sisters & Co. is a great spot for a relaxed and satisfying brunch. I hardly even eat meat in the US! But that bacon... I don't think I've ever tasted such a piece of meat so meaty as that bacon! Like now I understand why the pig is the king of meat! Taste that bacon and you'll understand why too! And for somebody who's not much of a meat eater, it blew my head! I was barely able to eat a half a piece. It was very rich and super meaty! Now I'm curious how are we eating this so-called bacon in the US I ate the poutine Bowl. Do know as an American it is not seasoned how we would eat it. Which might be healthier! But they have a homemade hot sauce you can add to it! Which really worked for me! But those pancakes.. sorry I just can't move from them! Well you know you're in canada... these people are friendliest as f***! I mean I just can't see there being bad service at anything in toronto! So I don't even know why they would ask! Hell the homeless people are friendly! I'm certain if I ran into a crack addict they would be just as friendly! This play stayed pack! And it's very small and quaint. Keep it that way! We will survive! I bet they stay packed in the winter time! Those pancakes would be enough to give me out of the house during cold weather! Also.... THEY PAY THEIR SERVERS A LIVING WAGE!! We arrived closer to lunchtime than breakfast, which worked in our favor since there wasn't a wait. We were seated right away, and our server, Angela P., promptly came over for our coffee order. Two coffees later, we were ready to order. My mom, as always, went with her beloved Mushroom Omelet (a bit steep at $15.20 in my opinion), while I ordered a half portion of the Two by Four, which included one egg and two pancakes. It ended up being the perfect amount of food for me. I wasn't thrilled about the $1.60 upcharge for chocolate chips, but the pancakes were fluffy, delicious, and worth the splurge. The restaurant appears to have been remodeled since my last visit and it has a much nicer look and feel than I remembered. My only real complaint is the noise level. Every time I've been here it's been incredibly loud, making conversation a bit difficult and hindering the overall breakfast experience, especially before coffee. Overall, I understand why so many people (including my mom) love this place. The service was friendly, the food was good, and we left satisfied.
