My husband and I stopped here on our way back from LA. He was cruda from the night before lol that means hungover. I had menudo, ut was delicious very tasty and had all the condiments. My husband had green chicken enchiladas, his go to. He enjoyed, the chips and salsa was good. Fresh and spicy salsa which I love. Had to get a cold beer for that cruda, did t help him but by the 2nd one he was good to go lol. Service was awesome, the lady was pleasant very nice. Ambiance was typical Mexican restaurant nice music, good smelling good, Spanish conversations going on. There was it looked like bullet holes in the window I would assume we were in tje ghetto lol. If you love soup the way I do, you must try the caldo de res. The broth is absolutely packed with flavor, rich, savory, and deeply comforting. You can tell it has been simmered just right. There is so much beef in one serving that I could literally split it into two full meals and share with someone. The soup is loaded with tender beef, corn, carrots, and two types of squash, zucchini and chayote, which add great texture and flavor. It comes with a side of toppings like chopped onions, cilantro, jalapeño, and lemon wedges so you can season it just how you like. The homemade hot sauce adds the perfect kick, and the side of rice and fresh warm homemade corn tortillas complete the meal beautifully. I also ordered a side of beans and those were just as delicious, smooth and creamy with melted cheese on top. Everything tasted homemade and made with care. Hmmm kind of in between my opinion of this spot!!! We live in jurupa so tried this spot out. Had the cheese enchilada special and the wife had the chile relleno plate! The enchiladas were good but had a taste or spice I can't describe not a taste I truly liked but was able to kind of eat thru it. My wife's chile relleno plate was really good and tasty! The chips are really good along with the salsa complimentary. The salsa also had a good hot kick which we liked! The eating area is nothing fancy, food came out quick and the dude taking orders was pretty cool! Won't be our go to in jurupa but at least we know it ain't bad either!!! read more

I'm always looking for a good bowl of Menudo and a few of my buddies invited me for breakfast here at El Rinconcito. The Menudo was great. The service was courteous and friendly. The interior has plenty of tables to sit down and enjoy your meal. It's decorated nicely with painting. The tortillas are homemade and they are delicious. I'm going to be visiting this establishment again soon. I need to try their mole which they say is very good there's plenty of parking with the handicapped stalls at the front entrance. read more

Everything smells so good here. And people were so nice. We were seated quickly and got drinks and ordered. Chile Verde and Chile rellanos. The order arrived. On cold plates, no hot mitts required. My plates food was just warm. Husbands rellano had no melted cheese inside, just square chunks you could see. Said it was just on the cool side of warm. We got go boxes to take it home and heat up. Worst restaurant I've ever been to. Only good thing was our order was taken as soon as we sat down. After ordering I spotted a COCKROACH CRAWLING ON THE BOOTH BY MY SON. I quickly told my husband to kill it and I then told the server and all she did was pick it up and say "thank you" , we had already ordered so I felt bad and wanted to give the food a try still. We got our food && my hamburger was so dry && the buns were burnt . I've eaten here a couple times since they changed over from Corral Burger and I've never been disappointed. The staff is friendly and the food is always freshly prepared. The omelets & breakfast burritos are the goods as are the Carne Asada nachos. The Rinconsito burger was very nice as well either even though it's a Mexican food spot (don't judge me haha). Bring your appetite as the portions are large and bring cash unless you don't mind paying the 50 cent surcharge for using your card. read more

I pass this place all time on Mission Blvd in Glen Avon, but had never been here. My husband has been telling me it was great so I tried it today; I have to say I was very pleased! Great authentic Mexican food, love their chips and salsa, they have great home made corn tortillas and their rice and beans were supper tasty! My husband had the carne Asada breakfast special and added eggs and avocado and he said they were absolutely delicious. I had the huevos Rancheros and they were great too. We will be coming back! This my first time here since the change of the name. I was not impressed. For starters the menu is kind of confusing. Too many items by number and some of the descriptions where a turn off. Chicken was referred to as GALLINA not pollo. To me that sounded like Raw Chicken. Yuck! Service was ok but not the best. Food was ok but not very fresh looking.
