I called ahead to ask about my food allergy. After running my errands today, I walked to BBQ Chipork. They served daily lunch specials until 3:00 PM. Lunch Special $13.99 (includes rice, 2 sides, and choice of soup or soda) BBQ 1/2 Chicken - The chicken's seasoning was flavorful. I dipped it in the delicious Gami sauce. Mmm, finger-licking goodness! Fried Rice - The fried rice was tasty. Today's Side Orders (choose 2: Broccoli, Lemon Potato, Japchae, Sweet Corn) Japchae - The Korean stir-fried glass noodles with vegetables were yummy. Broccoli - The broccoli was crisp. Soup of the Day: Cream Soup or Soda Canada Dry Ginger Ale Bookmark this spot to try!

Overall 4 stars for being a solid take out spot! Great service at the register and speaking to a person was more interesting. Ha ha (I didn't order at the kiosk on purpose even though there was one). It was my first time here as I happened to drive by and was so curious and hungry! Found out they have been open since January this year! The plan was to order my food to go (there's not really a sit down area but there are chairs/seats for the counter and to wait for your food). Luckily I caught them before they closed...oh I had about 1/2 an hr I think. Onto the food - the pork ribs were excellent! Not quite fall off the bone tender but it was tender enough with a good chew factor. The marinade was sweet and savory at the same time. Loved the bento box packaging idea - as my order of ribs came with two sides. I chose broccoli and lemon potatoes. But it also came with fried rice and a cream corn soup! Other entree was the beef bugulgi, which I asked for jap chae and broccoli. It also came with house salad (yummy house dressing on it) and fried rice. Carbo loaded...so much food!! Best value for $20 each meal. Loved the first experience, we shall return and now you all know. Hit them up for lunch, there's lunch specials too!

Interior - grilling the ribs and wings

4.25 stars I'm not sure how long this place has been around, but it couldn't have been too long. I do remember that it used to be a Mediterranean restaurant. When you walk in, everything is bright and open, so patrons can see everything. You can watch the cooks and the owner preparing the food. It was obvious that my wife and I had never been there before, and the owner greeted us, inviting us to ask any questions. After a few minutes of looking over the menu, we ordered the ribs meal and an order of the chipork wings. I loved that they used the grill to prepare the ribs and wings before moving them both into the smoker. In terms of taste, I thought the ribs were a little dry, but they had good flavor. Dipping them in any of the sauces made them tastier. The wings were decent as well. As I mentioned earlier, they smoked the wings, then tossed them into a wok on an open flame, seasoning and frying them further. Meals come with 2 sides (choice of broccoli, lemon potatoes, Korean glass noodles or corn), soup and some fried rice. So you get a lot of value here. We are definitely coming back to check out some of their other items. I really think this place has potential, and I'm looking forward to trying their other offerings.

Food held up well through delivery. Pork ribs were sweet and succulent, while the chipork wings were grilled well.

This place looked nice and the aroma was great but I was disappointed. We went for takeout on a Friday. Metered Street parking only. We were the first customers which I think may have been the problem. The grill wasn't even on yet. The ribs and chicken were already cooked and cut into pieces. They may have been from the previous day. They put it on the grill to heat up. The chicken was very salty and dry. I was very thirsty after eating the chicken. The ribs were not so bad. If you prefer a dry rub it has good flavor. Only slightly dry. The bulgogi was flavorful. Nice sweet taste. It came with a lot of sides. We tried the rice, lemon potatoes, japache, and broccoli. Loved the rice and japache. Not salty and cooked just right.

Real good Chicken n Pork Ribs This joint has super affordable succulent food. I ordered the 1/2 Chicken lunch special. The lunch comes with fried rice, a salad AND two sides with a choice of corn, lemon potatoes, jap chae (Korean potato Glass Noodles), or broccoli. It also comes with a free soda or soup. The Ribs and Chicken are flavorfully marinated, grilled smoked in their high tech smoker and finally grilled again to char it up before reaching your plate. I opted for the half chicken, and it was delicious. I opted for the choice of their creamy comforting soup which goes great with the fried rice. They have an array of sauces which accompany it. Their hot sauce has more than twenty ingredients and various peppers. The addictive house made hot sauce has a good amount of heat and sweetness. The owner gave me pork rib to try and it was divine. It was sweet with a perfect amount of saltiness and smokiness. The rib isn't fall off the bone tender but very tasty. If you're looking for a fulfilling budget friendly lunch; I highly recommend it. Tip: there is no room for a large party to dine in. Only seating for 4 patrons Max. It's more of a takeout spot.

I stepped upon this spot while picking up lunch next door. The smell coming outta this place was so attractive. I saved there menu and decided to have their lunch special today. Oh my I was impressed, the portion was huge and the price was great. I ordered the half chicken and the ribs. The chicken was well seasoned, no Sauce needed. If you like it spicy they have this awesome hot sauce, a must try. The ribs was also welled cooked and grilled. My lunch came with two sides and I was able to order from two lunches all four different sides, corn, broccoli with pieces of crab meat, japchae which is a very savory glass noodle and lemons potato. Seems to me there foods a great fusion with some Korean, Greek and American bbq. My lunch special came with miso soup or a can of soda. The guy whom took my order was also polite. My experience here has a five star, If your in the area, it's a must try spot.

Chicken was full of flavor and not dry at all! Sauces were great too! You can't beat that lunch price. I'll definitely be back to try more!

It was a stunning presentation indeed. Gloves and bibs provided as the meal gets messy. The staff was very organized and quick to bring fresh napkins and replaced the discard bucket every so often. Excellent service! Banchan was simple but also very delicious. We had broccoli, kimchi and sliced fish cakes. We also ordered an entree, Hokkaido scallops and the signature Rice Thief bowl which mirrored a bibimbap only smaller (perfect portion for one). The masago, roasted seaweed and wakame was just the perfect blend. Wait staff reminded us to mix well and she was right, it all blends well and was the perfect compliment to the crab. I really enjoyed the scallops as well, beautifully plated with slices of jalapenos. Delish. I wish I had a chance to order some of the cooked protein dishes but we had plenty already for our party of three. Catch you on the next visit. Totally will aim to try more of the menu like the Salmon bowl, seafood pancake, dumplings and abalone congee.

The place is cozy and looks well-structured. I also love that every table comes equipped with condiments and utensils you may need, as well as a call button for staff to come around your table. Hearing the 'ding' is always really nice. The actual food itself truly tastes like home. Everything is so comforting and you can never get sick of food like this. The portions are also huge so bring an empty stomach or a big group. We always manage to have leftovers whenever we come here. I absolutely love the pajuns, and always find myself gravitating towards the seafood pancakes, and they do not skimp out on the seafood either. The mandus are extremely filling, and the meat inside is nice and juicy. The noodles itself are honestly so refreshing and hits the spot every time. I've heard people debate on whether kalguksu or sujebi was better, but this place makes it hard to decide every time-they're both just so good. There's 2 waitresses and one busser, but I felt only one of the waitress was pulling the weight, while the other (maybe she's the owner?) mostly chatted with one of the table customers. I felt bad for our waitress she was so busy with fulfilling takeouts + dine ins and the dishes require a lot of servicing table side. She couldn't catch 1 second of break :( Food wise, we got their 2 person combo of spicy pork gamja tang and spicy rice cake which came with the steamed egg. Everything was so good, egg was extra fluffy, rice cake was delicious and the meat came right off the bones. They take a good variety of side dishes. My partner wasn't a fan of the gamja tang but due to feeling it's a hassle to eat meat with bones, so those who fee sim may agree. We also asked for the fried rice after we finished the gamja tang, for 2 servings I think it was $4.75 or something. I really enjoyed it but I guess I like scorched rice, also something my partner doesn't enjoy so those we feel sim just note. Environment feels very old school, well worn. Feels cozy. It can get loud very quickly on a Saturday night as this place seems to be a hit for large parties. Since the wait staff is short handed, expect a bit of a wait for things. Don't come if you're in a rush.

Ordered the Gamjatang & Grilled Mackerel Set - $52.95 (for 2) The gamjatang is perfectly spiced - bold and warming without overwhelming heat (and trust me, my spice tolerance is low!). Instead of the usual red kimchi, they load it with long strips of green napa cabbage, cut right before your eyes before serving. Some bean sprouts, watercress on top, with tender potatoes, chewy rice cakes, and massive pork bones that fall right off - so meaty and flavorful. Served with a side of sweet mustard sauce. Pure comfort on a cold day. The grilled mackerel was enormous and incredibly plump - way bigger than expected! As an oily fish, it's rich and satisfying, but we barely made it through a third. If you're a mackerel fan like me, it's a must-order. . Banchan were simple and homey: nothing flashy, just solid classics. Bonus: it comes with fluffy steamed egg (jjim) that rounds out the meal perfectly. I can eat an entire bowl of rice with just the steamed egg . This set was massive for two - we left with about 1/4 of the soup and 2/3 of the fish! Pro tip: Save some broth and ask them to make fried rice with it at the end. Game-changer. .
