My family enjoys the pizza, which is usually made fairly well, so I'll give it 3 stars for being decent Papa John's if that's what you're looking for. A few trips back, the Garlic Sauce in one of the two pizza boxes had a lid that wasn't fully secured, so when I got it home, the bottom of the top pizza box was covered in Garlic Sauce. Thankfully it did not get on the car seat or anywhere else. I never use the Garlic Sauce, so it made the pizza I ate that night worse, but didn't make the meal inedible. I filled out my survey and said I would like a follow up from someone at the store. I figured if this was happening to other people, they could be aware of it, and that if we were a one-off, they could apologize and as long as it didn't happen again, it'd be fine. No one ever got back to me, so the next time I went into the store for pick up, I asked if there was a manager. There was a very young shift manager who simply said, "Uh, yeah, they probably will get back to you, but that's not something we'd handle out of this store. They're probably just busy so that's why you haven't heard back." It certainly feels like the store and the people handling the survey don't care enough to follow up on an issue, so my family started trying Domino's. The local Domino's is right down the street, so we tried that with good results. It's been about three months since my last Papa John's order and I'm spending less and getting pizza I like more, so I probably won't be giving them my business again any time soon. read more

I am torn because my family likes this pizza. We have never had a delivery issue, and anytime We have decided to pick-up the pizza I do not recall any customer service issues. I have always ordered online, and I made a mistake on an order once which they immediately corrected for me. I guess I hit remove online to an allergy topping and it didn't take. The problem is that they periodically send pizzas that have these huge bubbles that take the entire slice and it has no cheese. Nobody wants to eat it because it looks horrible, it's the cancer slice. This time they delivered three pizzas to us with three slices that looked like a cancer slice but much worse, and two slices were beside each other in one box...they couldn't have missed it. It was disgusting. I have photos. I now have to stop ordering here, because that is not acceptable to send to a customer, but the restaurant must believe it is. It happens too often, and I'm not buying pizza just to toss it in the trash. read more

Didn't understand the policies in place. Walked into the building 45 minutes to close, asking to place an order and was told that they would not take an order within an hour of close and was told I could not place an order to-go. The staff running this place have the best customer service, the pizza was enjoyed by our office off Jones Bridge Rd. They offered us plates and extra toppings to make up for all the mouths we're feeding. Will definitely be back! Horrible. Ordered pizza for my kids and they sat it outside next to the trash can with no heads-up, knock on the door, nor call. Found it by letting the dogs out. By the time we got it it was all cold & not to mention nobody is eating anything left next the trash can. Manager Katherine was super rude. Left me on hold so I hung up and called back and asked for a full refund and corporate number and she told me to go look it up myself. I asked who her Manager was and she said Cory. This is just a review on experience, not the pizza. Papa John's pizza tastes the same from every location. Terrible experience with this location. Rude staff members who do not care about their customers or their experience. Papa John's website was down, so my fiance and I decided to call and place our order. The phone rang forever, I almost hung up and called back but the girl finally answered. We asked about the specials that day and she didn't know she she had to put me on hold. After a few moments, she came back and told us different specials than what was listed online, so I asked about the online carry out special and she put me on hold again and said my manager will not honor that, place it online. I politely told her online was down and asked for the manager. A guy with a great deal of attitude answered and said no we will not honor online you can call the 1-800 number to get the online fixed, but we will not honor it. I am not calling a 1-800 number to get the deal Papa Johns is offering its customers while I am driving to the location to pick up a pizza to quickly take home. We went to Domino's at the next traffic light. They were great. Zero knowledge but plenty of rudeness. read more

Everything was good. Except half the pizza was supposed to be pepperoni, and only 3 slices had pepperoni on them. Also, It was a "No Contact Delivery", but the delivery driver banged on our door for five minutes. Finally we went out there to ask him if everything was ok, and he said that he needed a signature, and needed the receipt to be finished. It even says "No Contact" on the receipt. Thursday August 17th we ordered for a kids party at 8:48 pm. Tried to call several times and got messaging and terrible music. Pizza arrived AT 11:15 pm2 hours and 27 minutes for a medium pepperoni pizza. You decide on what you think the service was like. If you don't believe me I'm happy to post receipt. No I'm sorry for the owner or management and damn sure didn't say hey perhaps this ones on us for being extreme idiots thinking kids wouldn't be hungry during that time. I am not a fan of what I consider to be fast food pizza chains. Of the major players I still find Jets (deep dish) to be the best. Strangely, I find myself an admirer of Papa John's pizza crust. They have managed to mass-produce a decent tasting and textured crust. As it turns out, the crust of the pie was the prime component of the franchise. The rest of their product is just so-so. Their sauce is sickly sweet and their toppings are far too sparse. I only order when there are decent promotional deals. This particular location is also a bit disorganized. read more

My experience with this Papa John's is by far the worst pizza experience I've had. I ordered a pizza online to get delivered to a friend later that day. 20 minutes before the pizza was supposed to be delivered, a manager called to tell me they didn't have a delivery person, so my order couldn't be fulfilled. This is already a problem, since you advertise for a delivery service. I had my pizza changed to be delivered the same time the next day. I look later at my bank account to see that I have been charged 4 times for this pizza, & the charges are different amounts. I call that night & the woman manager on duty is extremely rude & unprofessional. She just kept saying, "you didn't seem to have any issues this morning when I called". Well lady, I hadn't seen I had been charged 70 dollars for 1 pizza until now, not to mention I was at work. Anyway, I talk to Andrew and he fixed my charges and told me my pizza would be delivered free the next day. Finally, a professional manager. I called my friend the next day, & found out her pizza was never delivered. This place has a lot to work on before they ever get my business again. Definitely disappointing. I'm just gonna' come right out and confess that I've been a snob for far too long. Pizza delivery chains like Domino's, Pizza Slut, Little Sleazer's and Papa John's were things I ate back in college to celebrate the end of a week, or when I happened to sell some used text books back at the end of the semester and had some extra scratch laying around. Of course, this was back when I was desperate, had little money and a woefully inexperienced palate. These were the days when a box of bagel bites baked in a toaster oven were considered a treat compared to Ramen noodles. Since then, I've managed to ween myself away from the giant chain delivery establishments in favor of the unique, higher-end, mom & pop shops that have a more authentic, made from scratch and with specialty ingredients taste to their pizzas. So, it took me by surprise the other day that I couldn't remember the last time I had a Papa John's pizza and wondered what had become of it in all these years. Had they dumbed it down like Little Caesar's? Had they punched it up like Domino's? Or had they stayed the same like Pizza Hut? I was curious and decided to order a pie. The ordering process was pretty cool, with a visual display of the pizza coming to life as you pre-build it, clicking on ingredients as you go. As I went to check-out online, I noticed a box for "promo code" so I opened a new tab and google searched for "Papa John's Promo Code." Bingo. In 9 seconds flat, I had a code that got me $4 off my entire order, bringing it down to about $12 for the pizza, plus a $2 delivery fee and my $3 tip. Not bad for a large pie brought to your house. After I submitted my order, I sat around wondering if I'd have buyer's remorse, and yes, maybe for an extra $10, maybe I could have guaranteed a more "refined" product coming through my front door in the next 45 minutes. I'll be damned. I'm slightly embarrassed to admit that the pizza was actually pretty fantastic and wildly exceeded my expectations. But let's just keep this between us, ok? read more

I DON'T GET IT! I will never understand why my family likes this pizza, it's just not that interesting. We have used this place over time strictly for pick up service. The pizza appears hot and is always as ordered. I don't usually order from here but I do sample the pizza and for me it is just boring at best. I have had better pizza at the Sam's Club diner. We recently tried the garlic knots and I found them to be boring, bland and a little on the dry side. They just did not have enough seasoning or decadence for a knot. This pizza place had the worst service. I used to work at a different Papa Johns location and it was so much better in every aspect than this one. The people were extremely rude, didn't give me my change, and didn't give me the right pizza that I ordered. I had also ordered extra peppers on the side and didn't give me the right amount that I paid for that is set by corporate. When I told the guy that I didn't get the right amount he just shrugged it off, gave me a bad look, and walked away and his co-workers ignored me. Absolutely worst experience ever. Pizza is very good here. But sometimes he messes with the toppings or either with the type of Cheese you choose. You got to check before you take it. For example, if you book for light cheese, he puts mayonese. Other wise, pizzas are very good here. read more
