I'm a delivery driver for UberEats. I've had a couple problems with this location and finally felt it warranted a review. I'll admit that their staff is probably overworked, but when you walk in the door and ask for an order which is pretty routine, and the manager and an employee get irate and start screaming about their mopped floor, you get the idea that they don't really care how they treat people at all. One of the orders that was supposed to go to a customer they just refused to fill and gave me an empty box instead. Pizza is delivered HOT and #yummy. Not sure why there are so many low reviews. Every time I've ordered N. Main they've been prompt and thorough (I often edit specialty pizzas: ultimate pepperoni with extra sauce and green pepper) and is prepared consistently. I ordered the specialty as described above last night (for days I want a little less grease I opt for regular pepperoni instead), regardless the pizza was obviously made with love and hit the spot! Not to mention the garlic butter (and the free spicy garlic butter promotion they gave yesterday??) is icing on the cake! Personally, I'd leave the wings (boneless/bone-in) and desserts to another establishment, but they have the pizza/bread products (cinnamon twists, breadsticks, etc) to die for! read more

This Papa Johns location has some of the worst service I have ever encountered. My issue today was when we placed a pizza order (one singular pizza) At 3 pm through grubhub. We got a receipt, confirmation status, etc. We waited 30-40 minutes for our pizza. That is not the problem though, since today is a game day and I understand. The problem is that we never got a status change in grubhub of when our order was actually ready. We went in at 3:45 to see if it was done, they said they haven't even started making our pizza yet! (placed order at 3). Besides the point, my boyfriend and I were wondering if it was ever done... it is now 6:30 PM and the status of our order still said "in the works" on grubhub. We called, and me working/worked in pizzerias with third party delivery systems like Doordash, Grubhub, Chownow, etc, when an order on those apps go through to the restaurant, ONE of the workers needs to keep up with its status when it is in the kitchen through the tablet or device it comes in through. Confirming the order, when it is being made, and when it is done. When I explained this to the guy on the phone he said he had no idea how Grubhub works and he has no part in the status. And then he said our pizza was ready at 5:06 PM. Am i supposed to check in every 15 minutes to see if it is done?? Excuse me... what???? I know that is a straight lie, someone in that kitchen never just pressed confirmed when it was done. Anyways, do not order from this Papa Johns location if you want to be helped by people with absolute no common sense, and cannot own up to a simple mistake. I work in the restaurant business, I understand stuff like this happens all of the time I wouldn't have been upset if he was just honest; he offered ZERO compensation or anything to help us with this issue (that was not our fault), when the right thing to do is offer a refund or something else. We have lived in Bbg since 2001 and have been frequent customers over the years. That all changed today. We ordered carry out large 3 topping and when we got home we were surprised to find the dough had not been cooked: it was raw and slimy. Trashed it, except for the pineapple, which I was able to eat. I called the store to offer feedback and expected a credit for the pizza but instead was told to bring the pizza back to the store so they could look at it to determine whether it was, in fact, underdone. "I've sold 50 pizzas today and you're the first complaint." Well, that's the last complaint you'll hear from this household. We're done with your attitude and your poorly-prepared food. read more

Most people order online or call in and just come in store to pick up order. They don't see 'behind the curtain'. Person running cash register also was making pizzas WITHOUT washing hands. I guess I really didn't pay attention to how long it took so I can't confirm or deny the other reviewers. I will say that it does taste like your standard Papa Johns which is a good thing. The only thing I didn't like is that the Pepperoni wasn't as crispy as I would have liked it. If that means anything to you then I'm glad to have helped. Pro tip: if you order just pepperoni, they put it on top of the cheese. If you order pepperoni and something else, they put it below. Even on top of the cheese it wasn't crispy enough. read more

If I could give this location less than 1 star I would. As much as I love Papa John's, the customer service here ruins the total experience. Good luck making an order after 11 p.m., they will decline any card you offer. We have tried different cards, different phone numbers, and nothing seems to work. If they can't be accessible to all customers (who are willing to pay the money), they should probably just shut down sooner rather than later. I really wish I could give a better review considering my love for their pizza (and the garlic sauce), but the customer service turns me off just thinking about it. read more

I placed a takeout order for square cut pizza for BBQ Chicken and Bacon flavor. My friend took a piece and drop me off at my place before taking off. I had a normal cut piece and realize that it is BBQ meat. I do not eat beef and unable to tolerate meat. I called the branch explaining them the problem. They requested me to bring back the pizza if it is untouched and claimed I should have know when I see pepperoni - this puzzled me, should I know BBQ chicken and bacon doesn't actually contain pepperoni and since when there's a law stating that pepperoni cannot be made of chicken? Store manager got the phone with impatience, grumpy, accusatory tone saying they will either give me the credit or deliver the right pizza. I requested for redelivery and store manager hung up on me impatiently after asking for the address. Considering the worst attitude (not to mention a store manager) I ever received, I was concerned of the store manager's credibility and who knows what would be put on my pizza, I decided to call in the branch again asking them to just get the pizza and that I do not need replacement from them. I addressed my concern and stating not needing a replacement. Manager yelled stating that he tried to solve the issue by bringing me a pizza. I explained patiently, "I called in trying to tell you guys nicely but concerned with the attitude and worrying my pizza that I'm eating so I do not need a replacement". The store manager warned me not to go to the store ever again and will not send anyone to retrieve the pizza and hung up on me. My friend ordered a pizza this evening, using the web app. Used his credit card and added the tip into the order. After 40 minutes he called to ask about the order status and learned that the driver had returned with the pizza. The manager said that the driver had knocked on the door and rung the door bell. We were home, he hadn't. The manager said that there were 4 locations that came up for the address entered in the web app, there weren't. The manager said that the driver had fulfilled his obligation. You decide, there was no knock on the door; there was no doorbell; the phone number listed in the web app was never called; there was no pizza; the credit card however did get charged. After talking with the manager for almost ten minutes, my friend got the manager to agree to remove the charges from his card, however he didn't offer any solution to return the driver to our location and was generally extremely unhelpful. They claimed they called my phone but it went to voicemail but I received all other calls just fine and had full signal. Anyway, they said they would send the driver back out and I wanted to make sure I didn't miss them this time, so I STOOD OUTSIDE waiting for them. At this point, I don't even know that it was worth it. I went in to this store last night to pick up an order. I noticed the employee working the cash register was cashing out, since he was counting a pretty large stack of money. As I walk up to the counter, the manager directs the employee to finish a pizza that had been had started. Without washing his hands (and handling quite a bit of money), the employee walks over to the pizza build line and starts putting on toppings, reaching into the bins barehanded. I mentioned something to the "manager" and his response was, "he's making his own food." This was all that he said and expected this to be an acceptable answer.
