Enjoyed a family dinner with the kiddos. The food was fresh and dining area was clean thanks to Carlos.

After my last review of this Cicis Pizza's amazing comeback and the joy it game this community when they saw the sign NOW OPEN, I decided to revisit the restaurant to see how it was doing and to enjoy their buffet of salad bar, pizza bar, and a few desserts. I arrived on a Friday early evening and the place was packed with families and groups of friends dining and enjoying a good time together. The restaurant was very clean and I was able to observe one of the suggestions the I had given management in my last review. One of the staff ladies who picked up the used plates from the tables, went further and asked a special needs lady what she was drinking so she could go and refill it. As I walked to the softdrink machine, I notice at the back of the restaurant there was an area with modern game machines and some kids playing. One of the things that corporate had planned to include in all of their restaurants that they kept open. At the softdrink machine, I was happy to see they had Cherry Coke, one of my favorite softdrinks that not every restaurant has. The front dining area and booths were all full but I found an empty table in the middle of the restaurant where I placed my my drink and some napkins to reserve the seat, as well as my Tommy H Winter coat that I purchased last year, at the end of the Winter, 0n sale, at Macy's. First I went directly to their salad bar and prepared me a large salad in one of the diner plates. What I like about their Salad bar is that they have just enough of the right ingredients, and that they're always fresh, especially the cherry tomatoes. Also the right selection of salad dressing, and their bacon bits. The only vegetable that wasn't cut right was the onions, but I felt that the shift manager would shortly notice and replace it with other onions. I invite you to view my photographs accompanying this review to get a better sense of the food and the place. After I finished my large salad, I went for their pizza slices selection. Their kitchen staff were continously bringing out fresh, hot, pizzas right out of the oven, so you got to eat them fresh, not reheated. I also liked the small size slices, that gave the option of having many slices of your favorite pizza, or trying a variety of them. For dessert I had a slice of their dessert pizza and what looked like an apple cinnamon roll. And a refill of my Cherry Coke. With so many people enjoying good comfort food and a good time with family and friends, I can anticipate that this restaurant will be a total success, because word of month is a powerful advertisement. Just today in the middle of the conversation with some friends I hadn't seen in a while, we ended up talking about Cicis Pizza. They weren't aware that it was again open, but the couple told me they were definitely going there this week for dinner. read more

I absolutely love the updated CiCi's Pizza! It's very clean, the customer service is excellent, and the manager, Tony, is very intentional about making sure everyone has a great experience. I can only speak for the women's bathroom since I'm a woman , but it's clean and smells good. My family and I love it here! Also the picture of my pizza was a request for barbecue pizza with no meat and they were happy to do that for me. read more

I had never heard of this place before When I saw the buffet was $10 I was like sure, let's try it out Everything was pretty good I really enjoyed the salad bar, the pizza had a lot of options. Of course it's not wood oven fired but it's good. You can also get pasta, and soup. And the dessert was actually really good, the cinnamon roll are better than cinnabon in my opinion It was really hot inside but I'm guessing their AC is broken. Everything was clean, service was good things were picked up fast and the guy at the front was nice enough to give us a cup for our baby without us even asking I would definitely come back! 5 stars for the type of establishment it is,can't compare it to michelin star food you know what I mean? read more

I really miss Cici's in Virginia Beach. When I was Roanoke, I was delighted to find a location still in operation there! This location is clean and the food was constantly being stocked and replaced. The workers were short with me when I paid at the registered and kind of made me feel like dumb because I didn't know how the prices worked cuz I haven't been here since I was 12. However, they were good at keeping everything fresh and hot. The pizza is yummy and it's a great deal. There is also pasta and salad, along with cheesy bread and desserts. I recommend everyone try Cici's BBQ pizza at least once in their lives. It is AMAZING!!!! I hope Cici's sticks around in the few locations that are left. I really missed them! read more

Now open! It was busy, but the crew was working fast, and the pizza was flowing. We will definitely be going back.

Tonight (07/07/23) there was a huge altercation at Cici's with a male & the owner. It was a pretty scary experience for me because I deal with anxiety & panic attacks pretty easily however my fiancé & I are regulars at this location (I swear we're in here every weekend LOL) & every team member + the owners have been nothing but nice to us & it's always clean including today when all of this was happening, anyway I just wanna say thank you to the owner (I'm unsure what his name is but he is a bald man & wear glasses & always has a smile on his face) for being able to de-escalate the situation & also comping our food due to the situation, next time I'm paying extra to make up for it. In town visiting relatives and stopped in here for dinner yesterday. The food was really good the service was outstanding. A big thank you to James for walking over and checking on us and making our experience a good one. My husband recently had shoulder surgery and James was walking around asking everyone if they needed anything and he refilled our drinks for us so we did not have to get back up. Thank you so much! Covid friendly! They have a awesome new system. Shields protecting the food. They serve your plate as you point and hand it over the counter. Drink refills require new cups and safety is number one here! Tables are shut down to every other booth all more than 6 feet apart! They also will fresh order make any pizza you want so it's SUPER HOT! Guys, this place has it down! Come here, be safe, enjoy! The manager and staff is on it too, very aware of their customers. Also face shields are required unless you are at your table which is a plus. Rules stated on front door! Stops people from spewing germs all over the drink machines. 10/10 ! Will be back read more

This place was disgusting everything was sticky, the food had been sitting out, we sat near the bathrooms so all we could smell was gross, there had been a used gross plate sitting on the table when we got there, and there was a big line to get your own drink. I just couldn't stand any of it, I would've washed my hands but the thought of going in the bathroom and touching the doorknobs was making me gag read more

This Cicis was very disgusting. There was food all over the floor. Pizza was cold and gross. Even when new pizza was put out, it was still cold. A little bit after eating my family and I noticed they cook the pizza and let it sit in various places. Never going here again! read more

Great pizza toppings! I can't vouch for the crust because I don't eat it! Interesting pizzas ... such as Macaroni & Cheese, Buffalo Wings, Taco, & Watermelon. OK, I'm kidding about the watermelon pizza, but the others are real. Friendly people. Salad bar looks very fresh, but I don't eat it. It's cici's. What can I say? it's like every other cici's ever. "pizza" with too much bread and no where near enough toppings. loud whiny kids, inactive parents, employees that throw away your drink and plates as soon as you stand up. Cockroaches on the tables got my money back and left will never eat there again staff was rude

Tried the CC'S today near Sam's Club in Roanoke Va.and was not impressed at all. Apparently the air conditioning hasn't worked in awhile and the poor folks working looked plum frazzled. Only half of the tables had napkin dispensers on them. Plates and silverware were in short supply. I had to wait ten minutes for ice as the machine was empty. The pizza was decent though for the money. read more

Came during a down time, and not much was out of the ordinary. The staff was polite and inviting, the food had probably been on the buffet for right at its allotted time limit.....so needless to say it wasn't the best I've had from a cicis. The location looked a little run down, and has o obviously been there for a while, some TLC might do it some good, but all in all not a bad experience. read more

It's been a while since we've been here, now I know why. Staff was great, friendly and busy. They have 3 new pizzas. Philly cheese steak, which has so little steak I don't think steak should be in the name, just a few tiny and I mean tiny tid bits of steak. As for the cheese, not much of that either. Kansas City BBQ, I'm guessing BBQ because of the sauce not really BBQ meat to speak of. Santa Fe chicken looked nasty so I didn't try it, and almost no chicken there either. The other pizzas were fair. It appears they have drastically cut the cheese down and even The cheesy bread had very LITTLE cheese. The part that had not changed much was the salad bar and the dessert. Both were pretty good. Much better than the skimped on pizzas. My grandson used to like it here, he gets the pasta with red sauce and dips cheese bread in the red sauce but the red sauce, spaghetti sauce was watered down! Thin and even tasted watery. It used to be so good. So the price hasn't changed much but quality sure has! We won't be back here any time soon! read more

CiCi's is extremely popular for their wide variety of pizza, pasta and salads, and it's all you can eat. You're not going to mistake it for authentic Italian cuisine, but its cheap and plentiful. Great for groups and kids, too. read more

Contacted "Mike" concerning a youth outing for my youth church department. Went there to for pizza after the production of Scrooge at the Roanoke Civic Center. Food was hot, plenty and really good, employees were extremely helpful and worked with me to get all 48 of us seated and well fed. Thanks you guys - you were great. read more

For a fixed price, you get what you can stuff onto your plate. The pizzas have a great variety and you won't get too bored from picking which one you want to stuff your face with. Some are much better than others, but how many pizza slices can you eat? The rest of the offerings are pretty standard and the quality is fair to good. It's basically a place to go to if you don't have a lot of time and want pizza. It's great for bringing the kids because they can go back and try different things as many times as they want and so what if you don't like it? Go back and get more. The best part is the free refills on soft drinks. It's quantity over quality, but if you just want lots of pizza for a cheap price, this is your best option. read more
