If zero stars were an option, this place would deserve it. The service moved at a snail's pace, and the food? My microwave could outdo it blindfolded. After waiting 2.5 hours, my pizza still hadn't been started! The lack of time management and customer service was astounding. By the time I finally gave up, I was more annoyed than hungry. I live in NE Mpls and generally work into the evening, so my dinner options are limited if I'm too tired to cook. Unfortunately, this location is 0-fer on getting my order right. Once, they forgot my wings. Or, the pizza was the wrong size. Or... Tonight we gave them one last chance, and they put all the toppings over the entire pizza instead of half-and-half like we asked. I didn't bother calling to complain because last time I tried calling all I got was attitude. I should say, that is the last time someone bothered answering the phone. These bad experiences are stretched over the three years that I've lived here. It had been awhile, since I stepped into a Papa John's and I really enjoyed stopping here. Not only were the employees friendly, but they seem to add extra toppings for my Hawaiian pizza. I like how not only was my order made fresh, but also how they took their time to do it right. When I brought it home it was gone by the next day. meh..are you a gambler? Because 50% the pizza will be right..50% it wont be. Don't get me wrong, the drivers are top tier. Tip enough an they make sure the pizza is to you hot and fresh. Inside staff? oh brother that is a whole different ball game. Guess it's a challenge to make a pizza well done with extra sauce when the website gives you the option. I will never order from this location again! My fiancé ordered online while she was at work during Father's Day to surprise me and my kids while we were playing out in our pool and apparently while the delivery guy dropped the pizza off at our front step and didn't see a tip which instead of coming up to me and giving me the pizza and getting a tip which he could clearly see me but pursued to go in his car and call my fiancé and harass her about a tip yelling at her (using very vulgar language).. we are not cheap people and since she is in the service industry we always tip well, all considered she thought there was a tip out from the online order which somehow didn't get through in there system and if the person handled themselves respectively would have gotten one. So I called store management and told them of what they're delivery person did and then management started screaming at me so loud that the phone distorted. They comp the order but I am reporting them to corporate and hopefully something is done before someone else gets treated this poorly. read more

So my friend ordered pizza for us about an hour and fifteen minutes ago. And so far the experience we've had has been TERRIBLE. Our order was very simple, all information was given, and the store DELETED the information that was given to them and basically told us that it was too bad that they screwed up and we had to wait an additional hour for our food to arrive. The customer service level is that of maybe a fourth grade level. Not once, not twice, not three times, but a total of five times they even admitted that it was someone there that screwed up, but our timeline had to be adjusted and not theirs. Having the girl there (her name is Jess) basically yelling at my friend over the phone (while I admit his language was not always the best she STILL could have let him actually hash out his issue with her instead of telling him he was wrong), was really just the greatest thing ever. She obviously doesn't have any concept of customer service as any time I have EVER had an issue when I waited tables, it was on ME and THE RESTAURANT I WORKED FOR to correct it to the customer's satisfaction. Not only will I never order from here after this, the mere fact that she basically made it out to be OUR problem instead of hers leads me to believe that she generally doesn't care about the customers she is serving, and neither does Papa Johns as a company. Good job Jess, I will be forwarding this review on to friends, family, as well as the general public through social media. You have completely turned me off from ordering from there EVER again. read more

This Christmas Eve, my boyfriend and I decided to order a couple pizzas and some wings. When we were ready to order we called around 7:00 and personally called the store to make sure they would still be open. Which if not we wouldnt mind making something our own, but wanted to treat ourselves to some pizza. When we called, a woman answered and took our order. She also got our debit card information and address for where the delivery would go to. She repeated our whole order back to us, confirmed our payment information and repeated our address. We also asked that the driver called us upon arrival due to the fact that we had not updated our phone number to ring in from the entry way like most apartments. She then asked for our phone number which we provided and she let us know it would be about 70-80 minutes. So about an hour and a half give or take. We waited for 2 in a half hours or more for our pizza and about the 2 hour mark we called the store and we were brought to an automated voice message stating they were closed. So we had no way to get ahold of anyone. Once we started to hit the 3 hour mark we assumed that the pizzas were not delivered since we had got no phone call and decided to make our own dinner at about 9:45-10:00. Now Christmas was the next day so we waited till the 26th the day after Christmas to go in and figure out what happened. They said we got a refund which we did recieve but there was no other answers given nor any other compensation for the inconvenience. What we did get was rude staff and a rude manager that was not very understanding to our complaint what so ever and when we asked for HRs number because of their lack of respect and rude behavior they denied us of the number and said they would be hanging up now. I have never dealt with anyone who makes a mistake and soley blames it on the customer because we ordered pizza on Christmas Eve. We asked when we called if they were open and if they were still delivering and she said yes. Dont take the order if youre going to take peoples money and not only not deliver their order but not even think to give a call or heads up letting us know we wouldnt be getting our pizzas. Just sad how disrespectful people can be for their own mistakes. Never going to waste my money here again and Ive seen other reviews and they are all the same. The staff seemed fairly courteous with their service and interactions, and that's the only reason this restaurant is even worthy of a one-star rating. The cheese on my pizza was almost absent, all of the toppings were severely concentrated near the middle, and some portions of the pizza had more than an inch of crust. I received a coupon in the welcoming packet for moving into my new apartment in Blaine, and if that was their ploy to get new customers, they failed miserably. Hardly no toppings they were all in the middle of the pizza the few that were on the pizza there was very large area of crust on my thin crust pizza with very little cheese the crust was burnt it wasn't even close to being as good as a Jack's frozen pizza and Jack's Frozen pizza is only a couple bucks versus $17 they are not very friendly at all in there very awful food and horrible customer service will definitely not be giving them any of my business anymore! I do not know why 0 stars is not an option. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I saw a sign yesterday that they were delivering to my neighborhood and posted pictured on Facebook about how happy I was since Papa Johns is my favorite. Well after tonight it is not. They delivered the wrong pizza, when we called about it they said it would be another 90 minutes (after the 90 minutes we waited even though they said 60...) well 3 hours to wait for dinner did not go over well. And when we called and asked to be refunded they took the phone away from their mouth and very clearly said to someone next to them (well now they want to be refunded!). They were so rude throughout the entire process. I cannot believe that one interaction would change my opinion on an entire chain of restaurants but it did. do not order from them. read more

Bad pizza. Ordered extra cheese, it didn't come with it! Called and they said they DO NOT GIVE YOU EXTRA cheese, even if you order extra. This is a policy within the chain they said! What the heck! i like their pizza but the last 3 times i have been in, i have had to wait 15 to 20 minutes to get my order. i live out of the delivery area so i always do pick up. they tell me a time over the phone but when i get there its never ready for another 20 minutes. i can overlook this once but now 3 times is to much. read more
