My partner has never been to BDUBS before so we had to stop in and give it a go. I haven't been in since high school so I didn't have a baseline since like 2013. I loooove the honey BBQ so we had to get that and I remember liking the Parmesan garlic so we got that too. He wanted to try something spicy so got the Jamaican jerk. The quality of the chicken has definitely gone down, that's not really up for debate. But damn the sauces are still good. And so is the ranch so you won't catch me complaining there. But I do think the prices are much higher than expected. We had a $25 gift card and still ended up spending about $7 more and that was for 20 wings. Service so bad I wasn't even able to get to the table. We arrived at around 9:40 ish and was stopped for there "supposed 18+ hour" my husband showed the greeter his id which is 20 for reference. I had left my wallet at home but he was refusing to let us in even though I do not look like a child and there was other children who had just arrived already seated. We left and clarified we'd be right back with the intention to eat. The greeter never mentioned last call was at 10 which is a whole hour before they actually close. When we got back we got there at almost exactly 10 and wasn't greeted for a whole other 5-10 minutes before we were told last call already happened and all we could do was takeout. Given the other poor reviews, I opted to order online so that I didn't have to worry if my order was mistakenly taken over the phone. And yet, there were so many problems: the large fries were missing altogether, and the boneless "wings" were cold piles of fried breading. Two of the 20 "wings" did resemble smaller versions of what most people would consider wings; the other 18 were a bit larger than the size of a quarter all hard as a rock. This place was a train wreck. Very poor service place was not busy at all and there were two servers and they both hardly could even check up on their tables(about 8 tables were in there). Cadin was our server and just was rude. Shouldn't be in this industry for sure apart of service is being personable yikes. Our food was cold waited about 10 minutes for celery to come out. I called the next day to order and Jose was so kind, put me on hold so that I understood exactly what I needed to order. I appreciate that , greatly. This was an absolutely awful experience. Our server, Kelly, was terrible. She spent so long audibly complaining about being short staffed while she was talking to a guy in the bar area and two people in the dining room for most of the time we were there. I'm 0 for 3 at BWW (multiple locations. See Roseville location for previous reviews). I saw on FB they were having a BOGO Wings promo. 20/20 vision tells me that I saw it too late in the day.... along with every other resident in Blaine. I placed an online ordered at 4:40 for a 6pm pickup. I didn't choose 6pm, the website told me it would be ready at 6. I arrived at 5:50 and there was a line out the door. (**For future review readers, this is COVID-19 quarantine time...6 feet apart!) Now I've ordered to-go from other restaurants during this time and have never had any issues. I was expecting an organized parking lot with designated pickup spots with signs starting to call or text that I'm here. I was NOT prepared to leave my car. I had to stand in line, outside in blistering winds, wearing a Spring jacket, sweatpants and canvas slip on shoes...for 40 minutes!! I was so cold! By the time I got into the vestibule, my toes, hands and face were numb. While I was miserably waiting, I found out the the guy ahead of me was waiting IN THE PARKING LOT since 4:30... and 2 hours later he still didn't have his food. I observed people waiting in their cars, with a numbered sticky note on their window. An older gentleman, which I later came to find out was the manager, was running bags out to cars. There were many car owners getting frustrated with the wait....of over 2 hours. I also observed multiple DoorDash drivers forgo the line and just walk right in and out a couple minutes later. Hmmmm? When I made it to the hostess stand, I told the girl that I had an order that was to be ready at 6pm (it's now 6:30). My name wasn't on the list on completed orders so she ran to the kitchen. She came back... no food in hand (oh shit!) ... and said it'd be another hour. So that'd put the time at 7:30, when I ordered at 4:40!! And I knew I wasn't going to be one of those car owners sitting and waiting in the parking lot. I asked for a refund. I spoke with the manager, he took down my information and said he would get the refund processed. **2 days later and I'm still waiting for the refund to be posted. ** When I left, the line had tripled in length...it was almost to Chili's. I expressed my frustration on the Blaine Community FB page (where I saw the BOGO wings promo) and someone posed the question: are they fulfilling DoorDash orders first instead of first come, first serve? It comes with chips and salsa or you can upgrade to fries. The chips taste great with it. It typically comes extra saucy, so if you want less, let them know when ordering. I've ordered from this location many times and almost every time there's an issue, though this is the first time I'm writing a review. I ordered online and it said it would be ready at 7pm. I get there a little before 7 and get in line behind 2 other people. I'm in line for at least 5 minutes and noticed the gentlemen in the front of the line still hasn't been helped. Finally someone comes up to the front, very slowly I might add, not caring at all it seemed that there was 4 people in line. Finally when it's my turn I say my name, pay my 42 dollars and get my food. Once I'm back in my car I double check my order because I've had issues before with missing items. I was glad I checked, I was missing my chocolate cake and a ranch. I go back inside and wait in line again. Am ignored by the girl in front for at least 30 seconds while she looked around at I don't know what. I told her what I was missing she nodded and walked away. A few minutes later she comes back with said cake and a "sorry". I drive the 30 minutes back to my house and open up the food. Discovering at the Buffalo wings I ordered for my husband are dry seasoning when I ordered normal Buffalo sauce. All in all very disappointed after spending 42 dollars. COVID HEALTH SAFETY WARNING I really enjoy the food, but coming in on a Saturday night, equipped with our face masks, looking to watch the UFC fights, we were met by an odd evening. We were seated immediately which was nice. But shortly after ordering, and receiving our drinks, a group of about 5 or 6 POC walked in. Without masks. They told them they needed masks. They left. Came back with masks. And for some reason. Buffalo Wild Wings would not seat them. Although there were tables seats on the other side of the establishment of where they could have easily sat them. My party was sitting just next to the front door, so we had the vantage point to watch it all unfold. I shrugged it off, as I did notice the party that was asked to leave got upset and stormed out. But shortly after this incident, a group came in NOT WEARING MASKS and were helped. Another group came in. NOT WEARING MASKS. And were helped. I watched as MULTIPLE PATRONS walked around the interior of the building NOT WEARING MASKS and were not reprimanded by staff. It is disheartening to have witnessed the treatment that this initial crowd was met with. And I think it needs to be known by the public. I likely will not be returning. Had they treated everyone that walked in with the same rules and regulations. Then this would not be an issue. But black lives matter. My boyfriend and I have been here twice to see UFC matches. There's no cover, and there's roughly two million TVs and projectors to watch them on. (By the way, I still don't even know how I feel about UFC. I get pumped and think it's badass but then someone gets smashed in the face and I want to cry thinking about their loved ones watching). That being said, it's always super crowded here when we come for viewing events. BUT, the staff has been plentiful and generous. We came in a little too late to grab a table last time (Aldo v McGregor), so we had to stand amongst many others. But then one of the super nice managers brought me a chair. The waitstaff was also diligent in making sure all of the "standers" got all of the food and drink they wanted. Everything was done in such a kind and quick manner, even though they were packed to the gills with hot-headed fight-lovers. I was very happy. Bravo! I do enjoy their food on a cold night with a beer and my boyfriend. The Jamaican Jerk wing sauce is delicious and right at my spice threshold, the classic buffalo sauce is great, and I like their potato wedges. We enjoy the best of the both worlds and get half boneless half bone-in basket with fries and veggies for just $15. And then I make my boyfriend buy me drinks for "dragging" me to the fight. The app changed the time of pick up when the order was placed and when we called to see if we could change it we were told they can't edit anything from online/app orders. Picked up food at 8:40 pm and it seemed like it had been sitting there since the original 7:40 time we wanted to pick it up at. They also apparently can't read orders correctly and follow a simple request like "sauce on the side". Everything was soggy... wings, potato wedges, tater tots.
