Their service is usually slow. I would suggest ordering on-line. I remember one night entering and waiting over ten minutes for someone to take my order (didn't pay any attention/acknowledge I was there to order...end result, walking out!). Side Note: Be aware that Reading Road is under construction now AND be careful leaving....someone apparently/deliberately left a shopping cart in the middle of the road (~$700 damage)....Hoping the police have previous incidents/reports and possibly a suspect...It's lucky that no one/suspect wasn't there, because I would've turned them black and blue in a heartbeat! read more

Wow, I thought I would try them again I had the thin crispy Sausage pizza. It was absolutely awful. I'll be taking that crap to a client tomorrow. I'm putting it in the fridge and I'm sure they'll eat it but I won't. I tried it again because I thought I should give it another go. The last time I tried was at the Hamilton County fair and I thought the pizza was terrible and it is still terrible. Good thing the "me too" guy got out while he could. Well played rich guy. I used to order from this location fairly often when I lived in an apartment nearby. I really miss them! The staff was always super nice, whether delivery or picking up in the shop. I always ordered online. The pizza was excellent. The toppings were always generous and a ton of cheese compared to other chains. The toppings tasted so fresh and the pizza was always piping hot. Even one time when I redeemed a free pizza, the pizza was just as great as ever. I don't know if the same staff works there as when I used to order from them, but between 2011 to Sep 2012, I never ordered from any other fast food pizza chains. Always on point when I order. The brownies might be the best thing EVER! Delivery is not an exact science, so it might not arrive exactly when it's supposed to, but hey, someone is bringing your food up to your front door. And all around solid pizza joint. I realize people are much more likely to post a negative review than a positive one, so I figured I would do one to show a more accurate overall opinion of this location. A fine pizza joint! Horribly rude! Ordered a pizza and was told that it would be delivered in 45 minutes. After an hour I called the store and was told that the delivery time was actually 1 hour 20 minutes but that it looked like the pizza was on the way. After 1.5 hours I called again and was told that it showed the delivery was completed. I told the manager that I had not received a delivery. I had missed the pizza delivery person's calls. Apparently it is NOT their policy and they are not required to leave a message when calling. I understand that it was not his fault I missed the calls but I would expect them to at least leave a message. The manager was unapologetic. He didn't even offer to have the pizza redelivered! Will never order here again! Shame on you Papa John's Pizza for such horrible customer service! read more

Very slow service even when ordering online. The email confirmation says that your pizza will be delivered in thirty to forty minutes. I called them after an hour and they told me that those emails are always wrong and it should arrive in another ten minutes. The delivery guy magically appeared after ten minutes with a cold pizza that had obviously been sitting around for a while. read more

I ordered a large pepperoni stuffed- crust pizza the driver was rude had 0 cellphone etiquette because they called to ask where exactly my address is but they still ended up taking it to the wrong house. After the driver finally showed up to the correct address with the box half open in his hand and a crumpled up receipt. I open the pizza box and I see l my pizza as smashed against the side of the box the pizza was literally thrown around inside of the box it obviously wasn't handled with care, but that wasn't the worst part because some of the pizza didn't have sauce on it. This store is basically just a bunch of lazy, self- absorbed, jaded employees who don't give a fuck about whatever happens to your money or food with terrible management. I would not recommend ordering anything from this particular store. if you do you would be taking a huge risk ordering food from this place and it honestly isn't worth it because there are many other restaurants in the area and there is no way that COVID-19 is a factor in the terrible service I received from the store as you can clearly see from previous reviews this store has been having problems for years now. read more

I placed a carry out order here last week and when I picked up the order they are massively messed it up. I came back in and pointed it out to the staff and they just looked at me and said "oh". I explained what was wrong and the guy who made the pizza looked over said something under his breathe that I didn't catch. I then asked them if they could remake it, they didn't offer they were mostly acting confused. I asked how long it would take and they told 20-25 minutes because there were other pizzas ahead of me. I told them that I had already waited around for 20 minutes and didn't have time wait around another 20 minutes or so. I then tell them that I want a refund, which no one there was 100% sure how to do that. After finally receiving the refund they finally apologized. I ordered a large pizza with three toppings and a two liter of Dr. Pepper. It cost 30 bucks after a delivery charge and a two dollar tip..... WOW. A bit to expensive for this blue collar family. On t h e 26th of January My wife and I ordered a pizza to pick up. We ordered a large thin crust. It didn't feel very warm. We got it home just 5 mins away and it was cold. The crust was burned beyond crispy and the the center of the crust was doughie. Needless to say it was so bad we couldn't eat but just a half of piece. The taste was terrible. We ordered a pizza make 7 or 8 months ago and was also disgusting. We thought we would give it another try. Never ever again. I wouldn't recomend this location to anyone.
