We went with the Detroit-style Mr. Jimaterian, no tomatoes and bell peppers, and with jalapeños added. The website makes it super easy to customize your pie. And we went with a dinner salad to pair it off with. The pizza arrived before the estimated delivery time right to the hotel room door. Our driver was friendly and helpful with the delivery. We were amazed at the size of the salad and amount of toppings. The lettuce and spinach mix we asked for (another custom option) was done perfectly. It came with a couple of dressing cups and crackers. The pizza was delicious. It wasn't as much a Detroit-style pizza as it was a huge cheesy bread with pizza toppings. That was our impression. The crust was doughy and pillowy but delicious. The toppings were laid on perfectly. We enjoyed all of our food thoroughly and ate most of it even after gorging ourselves all day at the Ren Faire. I placed a delivery order like I always do and asked them to please do not forget the garlic butter and asked that my pizza be crispy They had forgotten to do this a couple of times previously. We get our order and no garlic butter again and no crispy pizza. I am beyond irritated at this point so I call and speak to the manager and I was not nice. I was so frustrated that I hung the phone up on him. I called right back and apologized because I should not have done that. The gentleman was extremely understanding and professional and had a driver deliver it with a note from him apologizing for what had happened and that was over and above if you ask me. He made an irritated and frustrated customer happy.
