Ordered Papa John's delivery, and it was a huge letdown. The pizza arrived upside-down, toppings completely stuck to the box, cheese slid off, and crust soggy. It looked thrown together carelessly and definitely rushed. Called to let them know, but got no accountability--just brushed off. I leave two stars because I know and remember what this location was capable of. It used to run like a well oiled machine even on busy nights. What happened??!! The last few times we have ordered the online tracker is way off. Pizza delivered well beyond a half hour after ETA. We attempted to order pizza from here last night. Didn't get a confirmation email, nothing... Though my card was charged. 15 minutes later I get an email saying my order was cancelled. At least the transaction was also reversed promptly. Ok, it was frigid and playoff football Sunday.... Benefit of the doubt. We tried again tonight to make up for a lackluster pizza experience last night from another major brand. Order placed, confirmation email received, we're off to a better start. My selected delivery time of 5 pm comes and goes...5:30 rolls around so I call the store. I select option two from the automated phone tree to check my order status and the line rings several times then disconnects. Ok.....I call back and select option 3 to place a order and hopefully get help. A rep in a far away call center answers and says she will transfer my call to my local store for update. A pleasant female answers and says my order is ready but they have no drivers on staff and are door dashing everything, no ETA on when my pizza will be picked up. I offer to go pick it up, she offers to change my order to carry out. I get to the store and several people are waiting in the waiting area. One female employee doing everything from making pizzas, to packaging, to helping the walk ins. Thank you to her for showing up for work! I receive no acknowledgement though when I walk in, nothing. I wait about 5-10 minutes then finally ask if I can just get my order from the shelf and go. The pizza, again, lackluster. Had been sitting there a while of course. An $8.00 cauliflower crusted pizza from whole foods tastes better (not kidding and they are actually pretty tasty. Total cost for my Papa Johns order was close to $50). I have not had Papa John's pizza in a decade or so. We saw the tv commercial for the new garlic stuffed crust pizza and opted to give it a try. Ordering was extremely easy from their website. We ordered pick up as the store is only five minutes away from the house. It was ready in 15 minutes and waiting for us when we arrived. The young woman that gave us our order was professional and very pleasant. I found the price to be a tad on the expensive side. The building was clean and well organized. The parking lot was clean and well maintained. My wife really enjoyed the pizzas we ordered but I was a tad less impressed. I found it a tad doughy and couldn't take the "garlic" that looked so extreme on tv. The garlic dipping sauce was good but the buttery flavor backed up on you pretty fast. All in all it was a solid 4 experience. I'm not sure I'd choose to order again as I've found other local pizza shops to be more to my liking. Your mileage may vary. read more

Absolute train wreck. It was one of those nights when no one wanted to leave the house because it was too cold out. We decided, against our better judgment, to order from Papa John's. When I placed the order, we were told it would be 30-40 minutes for delivery. That was at 6:15 PM. We didn't get our pizza until 9:00 PM that night. I made multiple phone calls and I was given a gambit of excuses ranging from "We're very busy" to "The driver might be driving the speed limit so she doesn't get a ticket." Wow. Despite my repeated requests, I was never offered a refund or credit toward anything else (not that I would ever use them again). For clarity, this Papa John's is approx. 3 miles from my home and has an estimated 8 minute drive time. As far as the pizza was concerned, I ordered what they claimed was "New York Style." Folks, this was NOT anything even close to New York Style pizza. When the food arrived (nearly 3 hours late) it was cold and rubbery and my Sprite was warm. In the future, I'll do myself a huge favor and order from a local pizza place (Knox Pizza and Tap and pretty darn good) and drive over to pick it up. Overall, four stars feels about right! I have ordered the pizza here about a handful of times and each time it's pretty dang good and spot on when it came to my specifications. Driver time is excellent, pizza is always hot! My only are of complaint, or perhaps suggestions for improvement, would be that occasionally the pizza crust bottom can be soggy and undercooked. I got pepperoni, spicy Italian sausage, and green peppers and used their promotional discount code so it went from $16 to $10. I am not usually one to write reviews on any food service, but they did an awesome job and they just about closed. I would have been forced to call Big Daddy's Pizza. Because they're open late, and it's certainly not ever been a horrible pizza but at the same time it has not been the greatest and I am not talking negative about them but it's not my favorite pizza but I really satisfied that they went above and beyond even though they were closed and the delivery guy, came to my house at 12 o'clock and hour after they left and I can't say enough good. I came in to pick up my carryout pizza and i tell thr man working at the front desk that i have an order for pick up. The gentleman tells me that i have the wrong papa johns and is combative when i tell him that this is the one i made my order at. I then go and look at my email to find the confirmation and he finally agrees im at the right place and that a driver took my pizza i had waited for 25 minutes to make than had to wait in store for another pizza to be made. He was respectful making the pizza again i just hope that hopefully this will help organize the store for future orders. So I ordered a pizza and it was a free pizza because i order often from them. well it said it was going to be a 2 hour wait we were okay with that. I got a call while we were waiting and i ran down stairs thinking it was the pizza guy, but no was down there after i waited for about 5 min i went upstairs and thought maybe it was just a telemarketer that called. after waiting for about 2 hours and 15 min i looked at the tracker and it said delivered, so like any other person i call up there and ask what happened. Their driver said that he called and that no one was home so he left. (and just so its known the last guy who was here like a week and a half ago called me twice and texted me so no excuse) Then we ask to talk to a manager (very rude guy named Paul). He comes on and then proceeds to tell us that this driver has been with them for awhile and that basically it was our fault for not grabbing it while he was here.
