Ordered delivery online with an estimated time of 37 minutes (during Saturday dinner time). The pizza arrived in 30 minutes! The pizza was fresh, hot, and delicious. I was glad to find that they still provide the garlic sauce with their pizzas because that's just an added bonus to the flavor. Papa Johns is also doing contactless delivery to protect customers and employees. I appreciate their care and concern for their team. They are also taping the boxes closed. We asked for a phone call when they arrive and the delivery driver called to let us know he was dropping off the pizza. Friendly customer service. read more

I've always loved Papa John's pizza so I guess this rating is a bit biased. However I have not had papa for about two years until I moved to the L/A area and nothing about it has changed. Been to this location a couple times now with no issues. Last night my pizza was hot and fresh and the manager on duty (Mark) helped me with an online ordering error quickly and efficiently. Just ordered a small meatball and pepperoni pizza, some wings, and a Diet Coke. I have to say that the quality of the food at this Papa Johns has significantly decreased during the past few years. Just not worth it. It was delivered and was on time. Layne was the delivery guy. Although I had specified a contactless delivery and wanted it left on my porch and the doorbell rung, the delivery guy was standing at the door with the outside door open? First of all no one should open the outside door ever for any reason, especially when there is a doorbell. And if you need to open it to knock on the door, you should let it shut afterwards and stand back from the door. I have just had cancer and chemo and have to be very careful regarding germs, covid, etc. I asked him to put it on the porch through a cracked door, which he did. He was friendly and apologetic. He started to walk away when I came out to get the food when he realized that he had left a coke and not a diet coke. He apologized for the error; and although I was upset, I told him to just take it as I can only drink diet soda and should not even drink that. He offered to go back and get another but I said not to bother. He apologized again and left. I put the food inside and started to take my dog on a short walk down the road. A few minutes later, the delivery guy drove up by me and stopped. He said he had driven to the nearby convenience store and got me a Diet Coke. While the quality of food is definitely lacking, the fact that Layne took it upon himself to deliver this soda to me will cause me to give Papa Johns another try in the future. Thank you Layne. I placed an order online for delivery and was told it would be over an hour. This was just too long so we called the Lewiston store and changed the order to a pick up order. We were told on the phone that the price changed from $17.86 to $14.35. When I got home with the pizza I discovered that the tip for the driver of $3.50 was NOT removed so I ended up paying a total of $17.85. There was NO delivery of the pizza so I shouldn't be paying a tip for the driver (I was the driver). I called the store and the person working told me there was nothing he could do. Sure he said that, he was getting a $3.50 tip. I said, "this is not cool". He didn't seem to care. Glad we have many other pizza places in town to go to in the future. Boo Papa Johns!.... Three managers were working. Amber Zach and Shannon. Three managers as my husband buzzed the window three times!!! Employees looked at him and never came to the window. Shannon the district manager told me after the fact that you can hear the buzzer no matter where you are in the building. So that's means they heard the buzzer and employees saw him but nobody came to the window!!! It took a WHITE MAN to come to the window and press the buzzer for them to come to the window. (THEY CAME AS SOON AS HE PRESSED IT) When I told Shannon how my husband was treated she said I don't think that's what that was. Huh? What do you think? Racist people or bad customer service or BOTH? Do not order from this store! I don't know what the heck is up with this place but it's horrible. Three orders in a row complete crap before we finally gave up and tried Pizza Market (5 stars!) because I expect better. The first incident the dough was raw, minus one topping paid extra. The second time we ordered a pizza very specifically ordered such as cooked longer and light sauce and not only was it clearly not cooked longer, they didn't put any sauce! Which is just as bad as the last straw when we ordered buffalo chicken pizza that arrived without buffalo sauce. Screw this obviously unmanaged store. I don't live in a complicated to find neighborhood, no stairs to climb (house) and we tip good.
