Waited 2 hours for my order to be delivered. Called to check on it and was placed on hold for 10 minutes. Never again.

This is probably the best pizza experience I have ever had in my entire life. I have been ordering from this Papa John's for the past 10 years and every single time it has been the same consistent extraordinary experience. The pizza comes on time just as said on the website when I order online at Papa John's.com. I love Papa John's. It's the best. Honestly, if I I'm going to eat the whole thing by myself and I ordered 2 large pizzas with my promo code because I ordered so many pizzas I have 55 points OK? Tried to order online on 2 different devices and their site won't let me checkout. Then had to call and repeat my order 5 times and when given the price it was $8 more than what it was online??? Then after she repeated the order to me I showed up and they got the order wrong?? Then when I tried to correct the order they told me thats not whats on the receipt?? I worked at McDonald's for $5/hr and we didn't screw up orders like kids these days do and to think they want 3 times that.......sad!! read more

It's a Wednesday evening 5/1/2019 at 10:30pm. I called to place a pickup order and was told that they no longer accept carry out orders past 10pm when they are scheduled to close at midnight. The young lady tells me that they are only allowing deliveries which to me makes no since if I'm willing to pickup BUT okay delivery it is. Then she proceeds to tell me that the delivery time right now stands at 2.5 hrs before I get my pizza. I live 10 minutes away and now I'm ordering pizza from Dominos because you guys are running a poor business. I work in the restaurant industry and trust me this is definitely a way to lose business in which you have lost me as a customer. read more

I called 30 minutes later to confirm my order and see how much longer the wait would be, I was told that the pizza was already on the way to our house. I only live 10 minutes away from this location and ended up waiting an hour and a half for just 1 pizza, which was barely warm by the time we got it. read more

2 hrs later my pizxa is here and it's cold!!! I only live 1 mile away. DELIVERY IS HORRIBLE AND HAS BEEN FOR SEVERAL MONTHS. Ordered online to pick up at the store. I asked to get SMS texts on the status of my order. After not even as much as a confirmation that they received the order, I finally called them. She told me the order was in the oven and was almost ready. Needless to say I was not happy! When I mentioned this to the cashier she just looked at me & said, oh? No apology or explanation, nada. I then asked her if she would please let her manager know, because this is an issue re when to pick up! Her response? Nothing, just a blank stare. The place was filthy, hot and extremely busy. Worst papa Johns ever! I don't give reviews often but we ordered pizza from here and will never go back. My fiancé ordered pizza and I was to pick it up on my way home. He ordered online and paid online. I stop to get it and was told I was not allowed to pick it up without ID and and the card used to purchase it. I did not have these since it was paid for online by my fiancé. So then I had to leave the store drive all the way to my house and get these from my fiancé and drive back. Now it's been 30 mins since my pizza was suppose to be ready. As you can guess after picking it up now and driving home again it was ice cold and disgusting. There was hardly any sauce on the pizza and I couldn't even choke down a slice. I emailed papa johns to let them know of this and I still haven't heard back. Always delicious pizza. The presentation is always lacking and I've started request my pizza uncut and do it myself at home. The slices are always uneven like a child cut it and it really ruins the experience. Who thought slicing a pizza in half would be such a challenge. read more

My family and I have been ordering from this particular Papa John's for many years and rarely have had any problems at all. But tonight, January 17, 2019 we had a very unpleasant experience with a young man by the name of Gabriel. We called to report that we had not received our cheese sticks and that our wing order was incorrect. Not only was he rude in the manner in which he spoke, but he expected us to wait one hour more for the food THEY made incorrectly while being unable to eat the food we already had. There have been some situations where our order may have been wrong and we were met with impeccable customer service. And they absolutely did not suggest we return the food! We are quite upset about this and are making the decision to perhaps order from a more professional establishment. No thanks Papa John's in pooler in the shopping center on Morgan's Corner. The Pooler location on 950 D Morgan Corner Rd is the worst ever. They defeat the whole purpose of scheduling your pick up by making me wait 40 min after my arrival.....apologizing for the delay and assuring me that my pizza would be ready in "5min". When the pizza never got ready, they found out that it wasn't even made.....here goes 15 more minutes of waiting. At the end the handed my a pizza that wasn't the one that I ordered . I called to complain and after 30 in the line, repeating my personal info more than I ever wished, they finally agreed to give me a refund. I went in to pick up my order and immediately I notice that the clerk has an attitude for what I don't know?? Asked me my name I announced myself by my last name and she immediately calls me by first name loud and obnoxious! After I paid for my order I asked for crushed pepper clerk gives me 1 packet for 8 slices of pizza and I told her I need more she says that would be an additional 50cents per packet! Staying at the local hotel. Ordered pizza for me and the wife. Tried to order online. But go figure, that's not so mobile or iPad friendly unless you download the app. I don't order pizza, so that is really not an option. Called and spoke with someone that I had to repeat my order and address to three times. Either he was deaf or it's really loud in that place. They had a special that I saw online, and since I wasn't able to order there, I told the guy over the phone that I wanted it. I also ordered an additional five dipping sauces, so when the total came out to be five dollars more than it showed online, I figured everything was correct since they didn't repeat my order back to me. He just kept pressing forward for payment. They delivered the pizza with no sauces. Come to find out, they didn't even charge me for them. Great right? No. They didn't even give me the special I ordered for the pizza. So what I thought was the correct order with the correct price wound up being four dollars more for the pizza and left all of the sauces out. The pizza tasted as expected, but, the order and price was incorrect. If I wanted a mystery order and price, I'd gamble more often. read more

Really??? I call in the order and the phone person repeats it back. My husband goes to pick it up. 30 minutes later he calls to say their busy and then he finds out that our pizza was up there the whole time. He is waiting on the chicken poppers I ordered and they tell him they lost the order. How do you do half the order then lose the rest??? So I tell him get the pizza and come home. He says I already paid. So half warm pizza and no refund, no coupon. Ok folks you just lowered the bar for crappy service. Now I remember why I usually buy pizza elsewhere. 1 star for..... gosh nothing I can think of.... Run away, call the pizza police, just do not go here. Absolutely terrible service. On 2 separate occasions I called in a pizza and was told it would arrive in 30 min. After an hour I called and was told it was on the way when I'm 2 min away from the place of business. I was then given answers such as "idk where your pizza is, it says it's on the way." After speaking with the manager I was told they never even made it to the location and that my order was voided. It declined replacing my order as it would be another 30 min wait and the same scenario would repeat itself. Do not take your business here. read more

This is the worst customer service I have ever received from any corporation in my life. This is the first review that I have ever made but after dealing with the employees at this location I had no choice. I ordered pizza from this location, and I was sure to specify my location, because I was hoping to receive pizza after placing the order. I waited an hour and a half to be called by the deliver driver. He told me they cannot deliver that it is out of range. I am only 8 miles from this papa John's location. I spoke with the guy who said he was the super is or Gabriel Ivelez he said they have already made my pizzas for me and my work crew to eat but he will not allow the driver to order them. When I placed the order if they could not drive 8 miles I should have been notified. He told me his superior was Corey smith and that he could not put me in contact with him. End result I waited a couple hours got no service and had a lot of workers hungry and upset. I would starve to death before calling this papa John's again! read more
