Stopped by Papa John's Pizza in Wahiawa while running errands -- I had just finished getting a passport photo at Walgreens and needed something quick for a potluck networking event. I should've made something, but between being out late the night before and unexpected hiccups in the morning, this pit stop saved me! personally eat the pizza, it was completely devoured at the event -- always a good sign. The store was very clean, there was plenty of free parking, and the associate who helped me was incredibly friendly and fast! Quick service, easy parking, and great customer care. 10/10 recommend! 11-21-22 Although Papa John's left Mililani( 3 blocks from us) when we were asked to babysit the grandkiddies this was the first place we chose for pizza. One other pizza place (PM) recently closed shop too and the last remaining one is just ok. First time both kiddies asked for two slices each of half the pizza which was pepperoni and cheese. Either their appetites are growing along with their heights or they REALLY enjoyed the taste of this Wahiawa made pizza. read more

This specific location takes absolutely forever to make your food, the workers were slacking off when I went there and just "forgot to make the pizza" 20minutes after I had ALREADY been in the store and they told me just a couple minutes. So I had to wait a whole nother 30 extra minutes??? Do better. read more

Skynet Has Papa What happen to you Papa? You use to be one of my favs! Fresh and Cheesy, it's what I remember most. Fresh? yeah kinda, but cheesy? I didn't get that anymore, it's like Papa lost his step! SKYNET IN CONTROL RATING: (9/10) So I walk in and ask about specials and the worker silently points to a sign that lists the specials. IN THAT VERY MOMENT, it felt like the world became a smartscreen...No talking allowed! Just finger pointing and swipes, Yikes! yes the Skynet is strong here. It's like that one time I went to Best Buy and the dude referred me to go to Amazon, really? If I wanted to go to Amazon online I'd go to Amazon, I am a person (not smart screen robot) looking for personal service and really inside the store yo lol! I thought Pizza was a social experience, not so much anymore apparently. As I made my order, the worker didn't really make any eye contact with me. It felt like it was annoyance to have been a "walk in" order and I SHOULD have ordered "online" like everyone else! (How dare I walk in and make a order!) PIZZA SAMPLED: Small Pepperoni $8 and a large two topping TOPPINGS: (6/10) Tasted fresh and better than Pizza Hut and Dominos, I'll give it that but what happened to the cheese? I remember this pizza had a slight cheese pull even without extra cheese, I guess Papa lost a step sadly. The sauce here does taste sweeter though which I do like. The noticeable scarcity of toppers unfortunately drops it down a notch otherwise itd be a closer to an 8. CRUST: (7/10) Softer and fluffier than the lower tier pizzas and goes well with the garlic oil. VALUE: (5/10) I just don't feel like I'm getting the same pizza I remember getting back in the day anymore. Had a late night craving for their pepperoni/extra cheese. Ordered online and chose delivery as usual. Got here on time as they always do (actually about 15 before) and It was hot, fresh and perfectly done like I took it out of my oven! Delivery driver was courteous and I'm pretty sure I've had all of them deliver before in this past year :) Craving satisfied. I used to love Papa Johns but sadly it is a shell of its former self with heavily inflated prices. It got away from us John.

Worse experience ever. Save yourself the trouble. Waited outside for 20mins with my infant as they said it would take 25mins just for them to tell me they never started and to come back in 15mins because some sad excuse about the orders on their screen that makes it hard for them to see. I asked if it happens often and they said yes. So no pizza for the starving kids today. Thanks a lot guys you could have just said you don't know how to prioritize from the beginning and that orders will take 25 to 1hr. read more

I placed my order for the Carryout special for $11.99 & when I was about to pay it came out $26.+. The website order doesn't say how many toppings & no additional cost. I had been ordering online & never had these issues. The manager Wilma is very unfriendly & I was willing to pay for the extra 3 toppings $3 to avoid canceling my original order but unfortunately, she refused to honor the online price. Service was quick and easy. Made a phone call in for eight large pizzas. Waited for at least 30 minutes before taking off to pick them up. Got there and they were ready to go. After picking them up and taking them back to work. As soon as I put the pizzas down they were gone in less than 15 minutes. I guess it was really no surprise if the whole staff of 50+ was reserving room in their stomach for a slice of pizza for lunch that it would be gone quick. When the last slice was gone we phone ordered four more large boxes. Waited at least 15 minutes before taking off again. Just like the first time as soon as I got there the lady at the counter recognized me and she pulled the four pizzas and I was in and out in less than a minute. Called and spoke with a manager who said she would call me back once she worked it out - waited 45 minutes before I called back again to cancel the order. 2 Hours wasted, no food or explanation beyond this happened to 3 of you. read more

Papa John's failed to deliver my order. Although they had my correct address, they could not find my house to deliver my order. When I tried calling the store, the phone just kept ringing for several minutes before some would answer the phone. Poor customer service. Thank to Dragon Mike, who works there and delivery of pizzas made this a special pizza place for me. Yes, pizza sometimes over priced, but the quality is much higher then other pizza places. Worst experience ordering pizza from them. Ordered pizza and wings, didn't get the wings, was told I would be refunded and if not call back. Still no refund, called back today, and the girl was extremely rude and hung up on me. Is this how all customers get treated? I hope not. Just moved to Wahiawa from Mililani last weekend. I used the app and ordered pizza. Minutes later I get a phone call telling me they don't deliver to my street as it is a "blackout" area. This is some racist bullshit. I can literally throw a ball and hit papa johns from my apartment. Pizza hut had no problem coming here, neither did bite squad and door dash. They said I could come and pick it up....that defeats the purpose of delivery. Fuck papa johns. Pizza hut has awesome wings anyhow. read more

I love Papa Johns Pizza! I find it best to order online or through the app cause they always have deals and you can customize your own pizza. My friend wanted pizza the other day and I saw Pizza Hut had Cinnabon so we ordered from there.... Needless to say, the pizza there tasted horrible in comparison. I'm never cheating on you again! He always makes INSANE pizzas. He even remade my pizzas one time, because I messed up on the time by an hour. Total BRO. I normally love Papa Johns but this was the worst pizza I have ever ate. I would rather be eating rectangle cafateria pizza from elementary school. We ordered a lrg ham and pineapple pizza for carry out. We placed our order over the phone and the employee said that our order would be ready in 15 minutes what he meant to say was your pizza is ready now because it has been sitting here for 3 days straight. When we got home my husband I each took a slice of pizza and neither of us could finish our slices. It tasted odd, off and old. I can't explain the taste... Within the first bite I knew it was not good. I looked at my husband who can normally eat a whole large pizza by himself and he said this is not good. Then fast forward 2 hours later...I think I have food poisoning from here. This may be too much information. Just a warning before you continue to read....
