I ordered our pizza to be picked up at 7 PM on Christmas Eve, or at least I thought I did. I received a notification that my pizzas were ready at around 3:45. This had me in a panic, as the pizzas were for dinner after church. I called the store and the manager was happy to remake the order at no extra charge. This was incredibly kind of him, and he certainly did not have to remake the order. The pizzas were well-made overall and we're ready promptly at 7 PM for pick up. Papa John's may be our new Christmas Eve tradition! read more

me and my wife went to papa johns on platt springs and yea the pizza was good but they absolutely did not cut the pizza at all. we literally had to use a knife from to cut the pizza. That was the only thing that I can say they need do better. I hope they take heed to this because I will be coming back to see if they cut it read more

Worst customer servicer ever! Manager hung up on my husband TWICE. After ordering online, the estimated completion time was 120 minutes, however didn't think too much of it since the order showed to be processing and in the oven. An hour later he missed their call and called them back less than 2 minutes later. He was told that due to not answering and their lack of delivery drivers they cancelled the order, hanging up on him. He called back asking to speak with a manager, ironically the same person who hung up on him the first time. After trying to explain his frustration with the lack of communication/responsiveness and that there were no other restaurant establishments open (he works night shift) was then told that "it sounds like a personal problem" and they hung up on him AGAIN. This is appalling coming from someone who claims to be in management. Also this is not the first time this seems to be the case after reading other recent reviews. I believe that corporate or an area manager needs to visit this location, apparently they have numerous issues to correct. read more

Received a delivery recently from this location. The person on the phone was very pleasant, and repeated the order back correctly. Delivery time was fine, they said 45 minutes and it was 45 minutes. I was told over the phone the extra large pie would be cut into 10 slices. It wasn't. It was very poorly cut into 8ish slices, very uneven. I ordered and paid for four toppings. I could hardly find the onions on the pizza that I ordered. I think I saw about four or five slivers, but definitely not enough coverage to be considered a topping. The other toppings were at least somewhat visible, but I it wasn't a generous portion. For $26, I expected a better pie from PJ. It was all the driver could do to make eye contact. Forget about a smile or a thank you after a $5 cash tip. He really didn't say anything at all, and I greeted him warmly to try and get a nice gesture out of him. I'm from out of town and in the pizza business. I know we make a great product, but this delivery driver experience has caused me to re-examine my own stores. I would not keep a driver who couldn't thank the customer, smile, or acknowledge the man who supplied a portion of his paycheck. The driver is the face of the business to delivery customers, and their attitude and action are crucial to retaining customers. Hope PJ on Platt Springs does something about this and doing a little QA in the kitchen before letting a pie leave improperly cut and with minimal toppings. read more

THIS PLACE IS TRASH! I was on hold for over 30 minutes, and I only called because they forgot all the extras we paid for. In top of this, the delivery person flapped open the bag and asked me to grab the boxes rather than handing them to me, which was awkward. I should've checked then for everything, but lesson learned. All of this to say I am currently still on hold and guarantee no one is answering so I'll probably hang up soon because this is just bad service all around. read more

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. Yesterday they took 2 and a half hours to deliver our pizza and STILL DIDNT deliver it. When I called today, 24 hours later the manager said there wasn't even a refund issued. And the manager cussed at me, was getting smart, being rude. No one here knows how to do their job. They steal your money and don't deliver at all on their end. Worst papa John's to exist. Papa John's is just down the road from our house so if we are looking for a quick pizza dinner we end up here most of the time. My husband and I have been here multiple times and we have never had a problem with our pizza not being ready when we walk in or our order being wrong. I would recommend using their website to order as they have their specials/deals listed. I would also recommend getting their garlic parm bread sticks (i'm pretty sure they beat pizza huts bread sticks). read more

I normally don't buy from Papa John's, but I decided to give them a try. I placed a carry out order for pickup an hour later, but they didn't even have my order ready when I arrived. They had me waiting for an additional 30 minutes, and when I inquired about my order, I was told that I had to wait longer because they did not start on my order yet. Their excuse was that the deliver person accidentally took my pizza. Last time I order from this location. Manager acted all confused and apparently didn't know what was going on. read more

Awful service and super irritated with a worker there. I was told it would take 15-20 minutes for my pizza to order after politely ordering and then I said that I would be outside waiting and he made a face at me and waved me off. Twice I have had to cancel an order or send it back due to it just being really bad. The first one was a soggy burnt up mess and the second one was over 1.5 hr wait then when it finally did arrive, it was stone cold and missing toppings. I'm done with this garbage establishment. Save your money and buy a frozen pizza. You will probably get better quality food that way sadly. read more

This is our go to spot for pizza. Papa John's is the best chain in our area. However, lately the quality has not been what it once was. Undercooked one visit, overcooked the next. Still good pizza, just prepare for the expectations of less than normal for PJ. read more
