This was one of those mindblowing places to stop at. I had been in their area for work and I was hitting the road and saw it was a Acai bowl place so I stopped. The server I had was seriously so wonderful and enjoyable to talk with and hear from. Then the Acai bowl I ordered was seriously super yummy for real. The weather outside went wild for a sec but I still got to sit outside underneath the roof so it was comfy even outside. The inside is a nice place to sit as well. This was a really good place to stop by and I'll go again if I'm even back in that part of the state of Florida.

This place is awesome it's certainly busy but for good reason. I like to come early around 7:30 and everything comes out super quick! The kwan breakfast bowl is so good and an actually big portion, very worth the money. The dark roast cold brew with sweet cream is TO DIE FORRRRR. The staff are very nice too. Restaurant interior is small but lots of outdoor seating

I look forward to trying the coffee beans at home.

Felicity was a great barista. It was packed, but they kept the line moving smoothly and efficiently. Make sure you grab a paper menu while you are in line so you know what to order when you get to the cash register. There are several gluten-free treats available! I had an amazing lemon poppyseed muffin. We also enjoyed the cappuccinos, mine with almond milk, of course, and took a bag of dark roast home for later.

First timer here! Very pleased with my first meal from Papa Kwans! It's taken me 3 years from hearing all the hype to finally try it out for myself, and I wasn't disappointed. I do need to go back and try more off the menu as they have so many amazing menu options! Not pictured was the açaí smoothie which was very yummy. I look forward to coming back to try some of their coffee drinks & açaí bowls.

Super affordable and delicious. Place is very small so cannot sit inside but we went a couple times in the week I visited because it was so cheap and good!!!

This is my favorite açai bowl in Juno Beach. I also recommend all their sandwiches and wraps. Staff is uber friendly. Perfect place to come after a day at the beach. Bring a good attitude because if it's crowded, it might take a second. but not to worry, plenty of spots to hang outside!

Lovely breakfast spot and close to the beach for a nice walk in the sand, with an iced coffee in hand. I was met with a lot of smiles and friendly service. The açaí bowl was delicious.

A beautiful little shop with picnic tables outside. It was a little difficult to get inside and made me a bit claustrophobic as it's very narrow and people kept bumping into you. They are tucked away in a shopping plaza, with somehow limited parking, but that's because they are so busy. Their food is very good! I had the Italian muffalata on a bagel, which was pretty spectacular except it did not have any of the olive tapanade on it, which was disappointing. The chips were a little stale, but "tomato salad" as they called it was great. They served it on plastic trays with disposable forks. The wait staff was nice enough, but definitely used to a usual local crowd and I felt very out of place. Bonus, there is a really cute local souvenir and fruit/vegetable stand store right there too. I don't know what has taken me so long to leave a review for a place I visit at least once a week (too busy stuffing my face maybe?). Papa Kwans is the perfect spot for a before the beach breakfast, a quick lunch, or a place to just grab some food and catch up with friends. The atmosphere here is unmatched. Island vibes, with a take-no-BS attitude (in a we care about the locals way). If you get lucky, you can catch some chill live music while you enjoy your coffee. Nothing beats the deal you get with a breakfast special. $9 for a LOADED breakfast sandwich and a drink. My favorite combo is BEC on a croissant with the French vanilla cold brew (BONUS: you get coffee ice cubes!) For lunch my go to is a papa kwans taco wrap... in a bowl, or the chicken Caesar wrap. The açaí bowls compete with (beat out) the places who should be experts in them. What I think says a lot about my favorite local coffee shop is that it is the first place my family and friends from out of town want to go to when they visit. Lots of options, but it's always papa kwans. In addition to great prices and food the PK rewards are awesome. If you're looking for a place for the locals, by the locals, and full of staff with the best hospitality, this place is for you.

Awesome little place. I stopped in because a friend had recommended it and it's on my route to work. The place is a bit hidden so don't miss it. What a great vibe this place has from the minute you open the door. The staff was very friendly and eager to help you get exactly what you want. I was looking for a coffee shop with WiFi and hopefully some food, that didn't rhyme with Starbucks. This place isn't exactly a hole-in-the wall, but it is very small and unassuming. There are three tables outside, but they overlook (sort of) the parking lot, and a half dozen or so inside, so I have to think it feels a bit crowded when busy. It was quiet when I was there though, so it was fine for me. They make a great coffee and a very nice chicken salad sandwich, but their apparent claim to fame is their fresh brewed kombucha, infused with many different flavors. I didn't try any of them as I think kombucha comes straight from the bowels of hell, but hey, there were several regulars so I think theirs is probably much better than what is sold in grocery stores. Why not five stars... I think because it is a nice place, owned by nice people, but it didn't wow me. If I lived here and it turned out to be the best place in the area, that would be one thing; however, I am just visiting and so am retaining my coveted fifth star for my Juno Beach coffee shop unicorn. read more

This is a great spot in the heart of Juno Beach. You have to request the Papa Kwan house coffee. It is delish. Love that everything is fresh and organic and made locally. My boyfriend and I each picked from the Avocado Toast menu. I chose sweet with blueberries, goat cheese and honey. My boyfriend had the savory toast with boiled egg and scallions drizzled in balsamic dressing. They were both excellent and I can't wait to try more combinations. This is definitely one of our fave spots and we love the Polynesian atmosphere complete with beachy decor and Hawaiian music. The owner is Awesome and very accommodating! I give it 5 stars for overall satisfaction! read more

I frequent the bait shop next door so I'm familiar with papa kwans and their offerings. I had family in for a few days and they are kombucha drinkers. They were jonsing for the k and asked me if I knew where they could get it. They said cvs carries it, off we went, nope. I pondered....I know where, PAPA KWANS!. It's a unique store, I browsed the beer, my wife checked out the tchatkes, my guests excitedly talked k with the proprieter. He has a bunch on tap, and some bottled stuff. I tried it....umm not for me. They loved it and purchased a few. It's an eclectic store, nice owner. I climbed up in the Adirondack style deck chair, comfy. Beer, shirts, local honey, food....check it out. Shopping small is huge. read more

Great find! My wife wanted real coffee instead of the stuff our hotel served for free. This place was right across the street. It's family owned and has excellent coffee and food along with terrific service! It seemed to be a popular place. We will definitely be back next time we are in town. read more

How can a place whose ambiance claims good vibes have so many signs before you even walk through the door about what NOT to do!!! The employees randomly shout out a hearty "Good Morning" as soon as the door chimes open but then one is accosted with signs just about everywhere there is wall and window space. No phones, no expectations of quick service, no standing and waiting for your order and don't even think about being inconsiderate and sitting at a table meant for 3 or more!!! Understandably there has to be some order but pretty sure one sign would do not 10!! The signs scream "I'll show these customers who the boss of this place is" and I can only imagine the pent up rage that went into whomever made them. Vacationers crave that laid back Island vibe, so consider letting us have that instead of all the expected structure of your establishment that we are trying to shed for a week!!! read more

This is my favorite local oasis! The owner and staff are the kindest, most helpful people, and I always feel at home when I walk into the shop. Then there's the food, which is fresh, clean, and EXCELLENT! It never tastes like I'm trying to eat healthfully- it's just great recipes with fresh, healthful ingredients. It's my favorite breakfast and lunch stop in Juno Beach. The made to order açaí bowl is the BEST because you can choose from several toppings, so I mix it up every time. Lately my guilty pleasure is the coconut cream and açaí bowl... you have to try it. I can't say enough about how great this place is. I wish there were more neighborhood places like Papa Kwan's. read more

Absolute money. Delicious tacos (even served me them at 9am because I'm weird like that). Presentation and taste were awesome. Dreaming about the meal still. Also they didn't have to but they went above and beyond making coffee ice cubes for the iced coffee to not water it down. Delish. read more

Great coffee, great breakfast! It was the perfect place to stop on our way to the beach. The ice cubes in my iced latte were made of coffee so the drink didn't taste watered down as the ice melted - love that attention to detail. Everything was fresh and delicious. Even though the restaurant was "swamped," the servers were scurrying around - working quickly. Everyone was friendly. The new decor was bright and colorful. Our food was great: My Cali Omelet was perfectly cooked and stuffed with avocado chunks, bacon and cheddar cheese. A gentleman at the table next to us that the hash browns were "the best on earth." I can't opine on that, but mine were outstanding. My wife's omelet (goat cheese, spinach and sun-dried tomatoes) was equally good. Our server was terrific- she accommodated my wife's request for "just strawberries" as her side. The place was still swamped when we left, but we'll certainly be back. Everything looked great upon table placement. My bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich was tasty. However, the egg-to-bacon ratio was a bit off. The small portion of bacon I did have was stacked into the center of the sandwich, making it difficult to enjoy in each bite, while the egg overpowered the overall flavor. The seasoned fries, however, were absolutely delicious. My son devoured his Mickey pancake. His bacon was a bit overcooked, which made it less appealing to him, but I had no issue adding it to my sandwich, fixing the scarcity issue there. I would most certainly return.

Our food was made fresh, delicious and served in oversized portions; all at a very reasonable price. One thing I'd like to mention for future guests: the restaurant automatically included an 18% gratuity on the bill. I didn't notice it until after I had already added an additional 20% tip, so be sure to double-check your receipt before paying. Overall, it was an average experience. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, and I appreciated the server who stepped in to help us after we'd been waiting, but there are definitely a few areas where the service and food could be improved.

First time at Papa Kwan's and I'm already planning my next visit! From the moment we walked up to the counter, the service was outstanding. Harrison was an absolute star -- super patient, genuinely kind, and took his time explaining the menu and giving great recommendations without making us feel rushed at all. We ordered and waited outside for just a short time before Trevor brought our food out with the same warm, friendly energy. The whole team made us feel truly welcomed. The food did not disappoint! The acai bowl was so fresh and perfectly topped with strawberries, banana, coconut, and tasted like homemade granola. My friend absolutely devoured the chicken salad wrap lol and couldn't stop raving about how good it was. We also tried the oatmeal cream pie, which was hands-down the best we've ever had. I'm already looking forward to trying those energy cookies later - too full! If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by Papa Kwan's. Amazing food and even better service. Papa kwans what a hidden little place. I love it there! The service is great, staff is amazing, and the owner is a hoot. From what I see everyone loves Papa Kwans! You can find just about anything salads, wraps, breakfast bowls, breakfast wraps egg tacos..... do I even need to go on? You can't go wrong because there is something for everyone. Smoothies, cold brew, and even lattes. You have to try it out! They are dog friendly and usually have live music on Saturday's. You don't want to miss out it's your Florida locals coffee shop. read more
