We ended up getting a giant half Hawaiian with white sauce, and half Abby's Special. I decided to try the white sauce on the Hawaiian this time because red sauce sometimes gives me heartburn. Well it was a mistake. The pizza wasn't as good as it usually is, and for some reason there were less toppings and no cheese. Bummer! Overall, a normal Abby's experience. Clean restaurant, helpful staff and good food. I would have mentioned the missing cheese while we were there, but I didn't realize what was missing until I looked at my previous photos from past visits. I may just have to stick to the original Hawaiian recipe and not change the sauce next time...

But a lot of time I think that comes down to preference. It took a long time to get our food. It was crowded and our server was clearly doing her best. The food looked good. The server said she was waiting for steak knives, so my husband just used the regular butter knife for his steak. The steak was a little tough and lacked flavor. Would have added salt and pepper to it if there was shakers on the table, but didn't want to ask for them. The fish was nice. I didn't really get "crab encrusted". I'm sure it was there but really it just tasted like breaded and fried halibut. The rice and salad were delicious. Overall everything was good. I wouldn't say excellent. And for the price, I would have expected better. But it wasn't bad. There looks to be a lot of other great restaurants that might have a little nicer atmosphere that we would try before coming here again. Overall, I would skip the steak. (Although the chimichurri one would probably be really good). And stick with their flooffy cocktails. The fish was good. And make reservations
