Came in for lunch on a Monday. Not too busy, just a few tables occupied. Staff was helpful and accommodating. We ended up getting a giant half Hawaiian with white sauce, and half Abby's Special. I decided to try the white sauce on the Hawaiian this time because red sauce sometimes gives me heartburn. Well it was a mistake. The pizza wasn't as good as it usually is, and for some reason there were less toppings and no cheese. Bummer! Overall, a normal Abby's experience. Clean restaurant, helpful staff and good food. I would have mentioned the missing cheese while we were there, but I didn't realize what was missing until I looked at my previous photos from past visits. Great pizza. Was going to go to place at Florence Waterfront but smelled the pizza here and stopped. Very good.

Husband wanted pizza before we left so we stopped here for lunch. They have decent pricing if you are looking for a personal size pizza for lunch. We opted to get a larger pizza so we had leftovers for our trip home. We had their all meat and it was good. The space reminded me a lot of the ol' town pizza places like Roundtable pizza. My family has lived in Florence OR since 2014. For the first few years up until 2020 everything was great quality. But since then everything is of the poorest quality and over priced. Example my family ordered pizza June 19 2026. salad 2 pizza to be delivered. The complete wrong order was delivered. And even while fixing the order. My salad had little black beetles in the bottom of it. Never again. For $90 it should have been Perfect and it wasnt even ediable. read more

Never, ever order from Pizza Hut again!!! This place has thin to deep dish crust that comes out "pizza oven charred" to the perfect taste/crisp/crunchiness. Oh, and then, the toppings. Unlike the other pizza chain, our delicious pizza was 3D there were so many delectable, fresh toppings showered on top for maximum enjoyment. This was the best pizza we've had since Chicago! We ordered the thin crust and it was perfection. I can't express how above and beyond the pizza was! Also ordered their breadsticks and marinara. Wow, just wow; the best we've had. We wanted something to take back to the hotel for dinner. We ordered on line which was easy and it was ready pretty quick. Staff was friendly at pick up and made sure we had plates and silverware. The wings were a little dry and needed a little more sauce. But the Caesar salad and garlic knots were very good! The pizza itself is very good and chock full of toppings. Some grease on the pan bottom which i like to see. The toppings are flavorful and quite nice. Pizza was warm, not hot, and cooler in center than would like. I didn't ask but only thing would've liked is heavy on the sauce. I like sauce. That aside this would be five star. Sure, not the best pizza have had yet is far from the worst, and it does what it's supposed to and is higher quality than other chain pizza places. Mom and pop i generally like better though. What lost a star is simple customer service. Lady who took my order is very pleasant, extremely nice. Lady who dropped it off was extremely brusque and pizza hit table with a clang and a shimmy. My son and his girlfriend were telling me how good Abby's Pizza was , but not as good as our favorite place in Las Vegas . Anyway , they now live in Oregon . We had just came from the Heceta Lighthouse and was on our way to their home and decided to get pizza since everything is closed for dine in there . We got a half Chicken , Bacon , Ranch , and half Meat Lovers and also the Bread Sticks . The pizza looked good and was thick and same with the bread sticks . I had one slice of each and 2 bread sticks and I was full . I actually liked the Chicken , Bacon , Ranch , better than the Meat Lovers and I usually love a Meat Lovers . The pizza tasted okay and I wasn't much for the bread sticks . The price was $32.21 and that was with my Military Discount ! I was happy that the cashier asked me if I was a Veteran since many businesses don't give a discount much anymore sadly . The staff was very nice and we talked a little while I was waiting for our order , we called it in a little before we got there . The next morning my stomach was a little upset , but not sick . My son called me that day since I was staying in a hotel and said he and his girlfriend had an upset stomach when they woke up . I don't know if their roommates ate any of the leftovers that night since they weren't at home when I left and he didn't mention anything about them . I told him to get rid of the pizza . I thought at first maybe it was too much cheese for me , but since they got upset stomach too , it wasn't that . We must have just got a bad one since they said they have gotten them several times before and never had a problem and their roommates bring it home too . I respect the closed off adult gambling machines in the back, but did you have to make your entire focus for kids out front also almost entirely gambling machines? Because that's all claw machines are. There is one game console. My kids were So Bored in the cramped and honestly dirty dining area. They did alright, but this isn't a place I'd go again with them. And since it's a mid level pizza chain, you'd think there'd be more attention to the idea of children. Parking is fine, food was fine although it came out for the four of us in shifts. Seating is a little cramped but they work with their space. Prices are ungodly but it's pretty standard these days I guess. They are up front about gluten related topics and you can get your grub on even if you have an issue. But it just wasn't anything to write home about and I wouldn't recommend it. read more

Let's get this out of the way first: I don't like pizza. After a thirteen mile hike with the remaining day spent on the road, though, my husband was craving it something fierce, so I accepted my fate and went to Yelp to find the best pizza in Florence. The results were...well, limited, and as I have a strict vacation policy of not eating somewhere I can eat at home, Abby's came out on top simply owing to the fact that there isn't normally one nearby. It's still a chain (another no-no), but hey, you can't always get what you want, and I didn't want pizza anyways, so what did it really matter? We called ahead and ordered a large half Philly Cheese Steak/half Hometown Hero pizza, and a chopped salad + feta and artichokes. They were nice enough on the phone and when we picked up our order, though clearly busy and not overly concerned with service. There is a salad bar in the restaurant, and plentiful seating. It appeared clean enough, if not sparkling. We brought our order back to our Airbnb and it was fine. Unexceptional, but totally okay. The price, however, was $35 for one pizza and a single serving salad....which is just too much. If this was some special, extra-delicious, borderline mystical pizza then perhaps that would be acceptable. But it was truly your average pie in every way. It bears repeating, though, that I do not like pizza, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. read more

The brightest lights inside ever! Bring sunglasses. Like the ambiance of a McDonald's. It was also very cold inside. This pizza was the worst I have had in some time. The thin crust tasted like saltine crackers. I have wanted to try Abbey's for some time but never again. Go to a nice local place with a pizza over and homemade yeasty crust. Very poorly managed location. Waited over an hour for our pizza. I purchased glass of red wine. Was told after they got my money they were out of red wine and couldn't refund my money. Other customers were mad and complaining. Eventually they stopped taking orders in house and only took online orders. It's in the name. Legendary. And the food was delicious. Pizza, salads, garlic knots and spuds. Wholly cow. It was bomb! Seriously, I consider myself an expert in pizza tasting and this place did not disappoint. Even our kids mentioned how good everything was. We ordered for delivery later in the evening and were told it would be about 45 or so minutes. Nope. It took about half the time. We were stoked. We ordered a large pepperoni and a large garden veggie. The pepperoni was plentiful and the crust/dough was cooked perfectly. The veggie pizza was one of the best I ever had and wasn't soggy from too many vegetables, just the right amount, with ample mushrooms just like I like it. (My wife not so much, she doesn't love mushrooms like I do, it's my favorite pizza topping). The garlic knots were amazing. Soft doughy inside , crisp outer layer all garlic buttered up, tasted so good. The spuds were just as good, basically round french fries, were crispy and hot. Had a great experience with the service. We totally loved the crust. The white sauce was so tasty. We always order extra and it was a perfect pie. We had the chicken with white sauce and the ultimate meat and one with green bell peppers with pepperoni. The beer selection was great and went very well with the pizza.
