I always come to this location. They get you in and out and I haven't gotten a wrong order. Parking can get aggressive sometimes because there are a lot of businesses around it but no big deal.

I usually give multiple chances before leaving a food review. I have been disappointed the two times prior at this Papa Murphy's location, as my pizzas were never made correctly, and a lack of professionalism among some of the staff. However, this time I carried low expectations through the door with me, and upon arriving home I was mind-blown with how amazing my pizzas looked and tasted!!!!! I also want to thank the two staff I saw working last night. The lady who handed me my pizzas and salads was so kind and kept in conversation with me, and the gentleman in the back prepping the toppings and the dough seemed to be in high spirits.

I stopped by tonight needing a quick pizza fix. They had a special and-best of all-they had it already prepared for takeout. Better of all (it's a thing) I had signed up for their text club and was offered a free cookie dough with purchase. They gave me a choice between the dough, a s'more pizza, or cheesesticks. Now that's customer service! I'll definitely be back for more take n bake PM pizza from this location.

Pretty picky pizza guy... First timer! Drive by it all the time. Went with the thin crust... it was actually very good. Only thing that I did not like was the cheese combination used. Did not know to specify what I wanted. But not a big deal! Will try again!

Easy to use and love how easy it is to order half pizza toppings and the other half as my husband and I like different toppings.

Our service was appropriately paced for the time it takes to make a Chicago deep dish pizza. I liked the TVs they had in the center of our dining area, which had some pre-season football coverage. The booths have taller partitions so it feels more intimate. I also liked the marquee saying "EAT PIZZA". I will certainly follow instructions there! The pizza we got was "The Special": sausage, green pepper, onion, and mushroom. I thought the pizza was fine, my only thing about Chicago style is that the vegetables can't caramelize like they would on a regular pizza. But that's just a personal opinion. I am pleased with the range of mocktail offerings, which are all $7.

We ordered online for delivery, and that may be part of it since deep dish really is best eaten fresh and hot rather than after a delivery trip. We tried the Meat and More Meat deep dish, which was very heavy. To be fair, that's probably just the style. Chicago stuffed pizza is rich, double-crusted, and seriously filling by design, but it was a bit much for us. We also got the family-size Rigatoni Bolognese. That one's actually worth the cost in terms of portion size; you get a lot of food. The flavor, though, was underwhelming. It wasn't bad, just not very flavorful. I can see why Giordano's has its fans, and the deep dish has a big following, but our experience was middle-of-the-road. If you're set on trying it, order for dine-in or pickup so it's fresh out of the oven.

This…read morelocal institution is credited with helping create the "Indy gourmet" pizza style: innovative toppings on a thin, hand-tossed crust so we went in with high expectations, and it delivered. We ordered a half-and-half pizza with the Spicy Bee on one side and the Bazbeaux Special with pine nuts on the other. Everything was delicious. It's all made fresh to order, so it took a bit of time to come out, but that's exactly why it tasted so good: fresh ingredients, a crisp thin crust that stays sturdy under the toppings, and great flavor throughout. With many toppings to choose from and a good beer and wine selection, there's a ton to explore here, and it's very vegetarian-friendly, too. The service sealed the deal for us. The staff was extremely friendly and kind, and our waitress was the highlight. We ended up staying a little past closing and started to rush, but she reassured us to take our time and enjoy the meal instead of feeling hurried. That kind of genuine hospitality goes a long way. Cozy, casual atmosphere, excellent pizza, and warm service in the heart of the Mass Ave arts district. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommend.

I have to laugh that my first review for this location of Bazbeaux, an Indy pizza icon since 1986,…read morewas actually my 300th Yelp review. Now, I'm over 1800 reviews and Yelp has become a huge part of my life. I was attending a nearby event related to Indy Shorts Film Festival and decided I wanted to visit Mass Avenue a bit once the event was over. This was early afternoon. After looking around a bit, I opted for a long-awaited return to Bazbeaux. Of course, a lot has changed in this area in the last few years. Parking prices are up (way up), though it's pretty plentiful with nearby street parking (metered) and parking along Mass Avenue. You also have a couple nearby parking garage options. Finding an accessible spot is fairly easy - curb cuts remain solid in this area and there continue to be some (but not all) crosswalks with audio. As was true nine years ago, accessibility on Mass Avenue can be challenging. That said, I think it has improved. I entered Bazbeaux and immediately noticed some improvement right away. There are two sides - a dining side, a bar side (with tables), and an aisle you can use for carry-out. The interior is warm, calming, and surprisingly intimate. The bar area is a bit louder, it's a bar area after all, but it's still pretty quiet. Service here remains strong. The hostess offered the bar area or a booth. Tables are not all wheelchair friendly, however, there are quite a few accessible options. My server, Samuel, was friendly and attentive without being overwhelming. He paced my meal nicely - I ordered garlic bread, my usual unsweetened iced tea (I think they still serve Mighty Leaf - an unusual choice that I love). I ordered a small (10") pizza with one-topping (pepperoni). I lingered a little bit, though not excessively so like my last visit. This time around, I was alone and my meal time was more traditional. The prices were definitely higher than last time, however, what price isn't higher than nine years ago? They were on park with the market these days and I had no issues with it - I think my meal came in at about $19 for the pizza, garlic bread, and iced tea (and I did get my always desired refill). Bazbeaux is unique in that every location (Mass Ave, Broad Ripple, Carmel) is located along the Monon Trail. They all have outside dining options, as well. They serve beer and wine, sandwiches, pizza, and more. One thing I have to say - accessibility is improved. I was noticeably bothered by it the last time I was here. This time around, I was comfortable and could easily function (I did not try the bathroom). While I could still see it being a bit difficult when packed, I arrived at an ideal time and was quite comfortable. The food was good, the service was very good, the prices were fair, and the atmosphere was nice and peaceful after a busy morning event. It really hit the spot. So, yeah. Last time around, I gave Bazbeaux a 3-star review. This time, I'm forking over that 4th star.

We decided to split a pepperoni pizza, and Michael hyped it up for a reason, it was SO good! It came out hot, packed with flavor, and even the crust was delicious (which says a lot). Parking can be a little tricky if street parking is full, but there is a nearby garage which makes it manageable. Overall, great vibes, great service, and great food. They also had ping-pong, cornhole, and other cute activities for little kids, which made the atmosphere feel really fun and family-friendly. I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted to order, but I went with the Cobb salad. It was good, but I definitely needed extra dressing plus some salt and pepper to bring out the flavor. I'd come back for sure, but next time I'll probably try something different since the salad was just okay. Nonetheless, I'm looking forward to bringing my family back to check this place out!
