Now after a full year of living in the area I finally took the plunge and tried red star coffee. A red velvet milkshake with espresso is honestly crazy and the fact that the smallest size you can get it in is a 20oz is even crazier... but I loved it. It was extremely creamy, it was extremely sweet, it did taste like a red velvet cupcake, and between my wife and I we basically finished the whole thing. The coffee aftertaste to the sugar bomb really makes it next level and I can't believe I exist in this amazing lifetime. We have already planned our next ice cream order. Also, cute logo! It's a drive through coffee so there's not much to say about the vibes but it was as quick as I expected and the worker was friendly. Typical experience and I don't feel scared to go back so that's a good sign.

Anyways, I've never paid attention much to drive through coffees because in any town you're taking a chance. This place is right down the road from my mom and I thought I'd get myself a coffee at a little bit of extra money from my tips that I make to get myself a eight dollar coffee. Something real simple. I stopped at this place paid with my card. I wanted to wait until after I got my drink to give them cash because I know that cash is king. They were completely perturbed when I grabbed my card and didn't put extra money as a tip on my card so they flagged another gal to come over to me push the tip handheld device at me and say aren't you going to tip and I said no I shook my head no not yet and they both looked at me like I was an alien. Just the meanest looks ever boy they thought I was so horrible that I hadn't tipped yet. One of them scoffed and rolled her eyes at me then they finally hand me my coffee, which by the way it was completely wrong. It tastes horrible, but I just wanted to get out of there. I let the gal know that I also work off of tips and then I get amazing tips because I don't act like they do. And then I was going to give them a five dollar cash tip. I didn't want to put it on the card but since they acted that way, I wasn't gonna give up my tips to them and if they acted better, they could make big tips like I do. Anyways, if you wait to tip them, and they get an inkling that you may not tip them, they'll make you a really crappy drink and then they will hate on you.

It is a drive thru stand with a walk up window. They offer a large variety of beverages, flavors, add-ins & options and also have some food available for purchase like scones, muffins, snacks & the like.
