Walked into what was described on the webpage as a complete falsehood. No tables to eat at. No gaming parlor. Mater of fact, the wall had fresh drywall closing that section off. What a let down. We wanted to go out and enjoy some food, libations, and play som slots. Plan-B. Order food and take it home. Italian beef wet, no cheese, no peppers. Italian Sausage and broccolini roll, and corned beef with cheese roll. Paid and waited. (10% discount for cash) We were told 30min wait. What? Found out the beefs are premade frozen and have to be heated up. Comes with cheese and peppers. What kind of freshness is that? As far as the rolls they one had one kind available. These people have no concept of what "extra" means. Tonight I asked for "extra mushrooms, triple mushrooms, please just blanket the pizza with mushrooms. I will pay whatever the extra cost is!" I even voiced my request twice! Pizza came, the receipt shows that I was charged twice for extra mushrooms but there are hardly any mushrooms on the pizza at all. We ordered a green pepper and pepperoni pizza during the Friday night pizza rush. If you haven't worked in a kitchen, shut up. Friday night, especially for pizza, is insane. Now to the important part: they forgot the pepperoni. We got a green pepper pizza. It was still delicious, but we called back to let them know we didn't see any pepperoni on the pizza. I would have taken a coupon for a free stack of pepperoni, but Tufanos stood by their product, and told us to come back in 15 minutes for a remade pizza on the house. I can not stress enough how important this is for a business to do, and Tufanos passed with flying colors. We will be calling them as long as we live in this area. We live in the area and have always been a Tufano's fan. We certainly helped them stay in business during COVID lockdowns. My issue is not with the food. My issue is with the COVID fee on my receipt. Lately, it seems prices are going up everywhere you turn. I noticed my receipt for 2 pizzas (picked up) @ $56.99 seemed a little high. When I looked at it closely, there was a service fee. I called, and they told me it was a COVID 19 fee. I wonder how long I've been suckered into paying that? Tufano's, if you're going to charge a COVID fee, at least have the decency to have all of your employees wear masks and gloves when handling our food. For that reason, you've lost my business. Tufano's was suggested as a good thin crust pizza place. Called to order a medium cheese pizza for pick-up. The man on the phone had no customer service skills and was hard to understand. My granddaughter went in to pick up the pizza and the same guy that answered the phone was behind the counter. No greeting to her. She gave a name, he brought out the pizza and that was it. I looked at the receipt when she got in the car and there was a service fee added. I called about it after I tried their pizza (which was tasteless and the worse pizza I've ever had) and same guy answered the phone and said the service fee is due to inflation! Was specific with the owner on the phone, that I like the cheese spot browned, not burnt, but spit browned . When the pizza arrived , the cheese was white, no spit brown as requested. I have a long history in the pizza industry, and my requests were very simple. This guy has little to no business, and I now know why. My husband and I decided to try Tufano's after meaning to for a while. We pulled up to a spot in front of the open entry door and there was a young man lounging outside intent on his phone ... ignored us completely. Walking in the young girl behind the counter looked at us and continued with what she was doing ... no greeting. We walked into the dining room, past another young man sitting on a stool with his feet up on another stool, on his phone. We sat down at a table (the only customers in there) and waited for a server or someone to take our order ... or simply greet us. A third young man was working in a room off the side of the entry and saw us come in and sit down ... a few glances from him but no words spoken or attempts to assist us. We sat for a few minutes, realized that all those we had seen were employees who offered no greeting, no assistance, no attempts at welcoming two customers or telling us a server will be with us soon or to order at the counter ... nothing. Perhaps we should have attempted to contact them by whatever social media they had their faces glued to, we may have had better luck. We walked casually out the door past them all and even stopped to get a menu ... No. Attempt. To. Speak. To. Us. Even. Once!!!!! What happened to this place! we decided to eat at the restaurant and see their new addition. What a joke! Middle of December and no heat on in the place. The metal chairs felt like ice cubes. We decided we would order a pizza and take it home. We also ordered an order of mushrooms while we waited for the pizza to finish. After 15-20 minutes, the girl (the only bright spot in this place) brought out an overcooked bag of onion rings with the taste of burnt, old oil. And, you guessed it, the pizza was ready 30 seconds later. We threw the onion rings away along with the TWO packs of ketchup that was for about 20 rings. My husband and I stopped in for the first time. We have been meaning to try out the menu, which by the way, has lots of lunch and dinner choices. We both ordered the shrimp basket special. It comes with lots of shrimp, a container of shrimp sauce, French fries, cole slaw, and garlic bread. It's priced under $7.00. Wow! Great price. The food was packaged exceptionally well for our carry-out. Oh my gosh, everything was excellent. We loved this meal. The portions were large, very large. We can't wait to go back. You can't make this stuff up.....Just minutes ago I posted a 5-Star review for Tufano's (the 1st review they've had greater than 1-3 stars since 2017). 15~ minutes after posting, I changed my review & replaced my top rating with a 1-Star review (& wish I could go lower). We just ordered $110 of food & when I asked to use a coupon they recommended the 20%. Before processing the order, the manager gets involved & cancels the discount! This really caught me by surprise - not only is 20% customary from any delivery place in the area, but they already offered it to me! I tell them that I'm a new customer & ironically I had just posted a 5-Star review on Yelp - isn't that worth the 20%? (especially after they already offered it)? Unfortunately, NO, they could care less about the review, only the cash. So I cancelled the order & suggested they read my 2 reviews. Then I spent $110 with one of their more courteous competitors. No joke, we spend thousands of dollars every year on Buddyz, Morettis, & Alfredos. If tonight would have been a different experience, its sfe to assume that lot of those dollars would have gone to Tufanos moving forward. It should come as no surprise that the most recent review before mine was a another 1-Star; this also criticized their Tuffano's management as being lame & unprofessional. Hopefully the owners recognize the impact a weak manager can have on brand recognition, customer perception (& how both relate to lost revenue). read more

New to the area, this was my first time ordering. I call, the guy picks up and hangs up. Must have great customer service. Well i called again i got a thin crust pizza and an order or breaded cauliflower. They gave us a ton of cauliflower was very happy. Anyway our delievery driver comes and we give him our money and tells us he has no change. Like wtf? How do you send a driver out with absolutly no change? Webordered Calamari, wings and a pepperoni pizza. We got takeout, and we live in Talamore, so not a long drive. The wings were awful. They were not hot, and they were mushy, not crisp at all, soggy with sauce that was not very spicy. The pizza was decent at best. Also not very hot, to much sauce and it was bland. The calamari was also not very warm and was soggy after being in the struofoam container gor the short ride home. I did put the Calamari in our air fryer when we got home..Once they were hot and crispy, the calamari was good. The order was also very expensive, $51.00 for a 16" pizza, calamari and 21 wings. My review is relevant to the manager as he was a complete tool. He hired my 17 year old daughter to start work approximately a week after she walked in to apply which gave her a little time to give her other job notice. Today is her last day at her prior job and she just now gets a message from the manager informing her he no longer needs her because he hired somebody else to start today, 3 days earlier to her start date. She states that she can start work today she will let her other job know immediately and he says no that he already hired somebody else. My husband and I called to confirm this as it made no sense and the manager was a heartless jerk. The fact that he already told her she was hired and gave her a start date for training knowing she was giving her notice somewhere else and then having complete disregard of to how this will affect her a now trying to find a replacement job is ridiculous! What are you teaching these kids about respect and common courtesy? That was a crap move and shows how unethical the person is running the business I'm out. read more

This was my first time ordering so we got a few different items to try them all out. First is the thin crust. I like it because it isn't paper thin and brittle, which means it holds up well to the weight of added ingredients. The sauce is really quite good. Next we got a half and half double dough....because quite honestly, I wanted a full sausage pizza but was gun shy since sausage taste varies so great from one place to another....I shouldn't have worried at all, the sausage was perfect. We ordered a pizza for delivery and upon delivery gave the driver a $8.00 tip on a $22.00 order. When we opened the box the cheese was off half off the pizza. I called to complain which I have never done and the girl on the phone was very rude and offered us two options. The first was half off my next pizza and the second was to have a new one delivered. She rudely asked "So what do you wanna do?". I asked for a new pizza. I quickly realized that probably wasn't the best decision. My wife called back within 90 seconds to cancel the new order and was told it's already in the oven. They basically refused to not cancel the new one. When the new order arrived we refused the order and gave them back the original (not touched). So we ended up losing $30 and had to find alternate dinner plans. With so many options In the area I will NEVER order form here again. If the girl wasn't so rude and they accepted that we didn't want the new one I may have considered them again. read more

I tried Tufano's for the first time tonight. First I'll start with customer service: phone person was ok to order from (not very helpful but not rude and not much of a personality but that's fine this is a pizza joint) and the delivery driver was brief but no complaints, food was hot! On to the food...4 items total: 1. Tufano's salad: The salad was icy cold, ingredients appeared fresh, overall I'd rate the salad a solid 3.5 for this type of place. 2. Chicken parmigiana with mostacolli: This is by far one of the worst pieces of chicken I've ever eaten. Plenty of hard, gristly pieces through out the meat. Avoid this item, not good. 3. Mostacolli: After seeing how bad the chicken was above, I'm now glad that this was now marinara sauce (no meat). While the food was hot, the sauce was bland and honestly appeared to taste like a cheap store brand sauce (with no attempts made to doctor it up a bit.) 4. Garlic Bread: I was hopeful I could skip the pasta and have a piece of garlic bread with my salad. Each of the two entrees above came with garlic bread. This was obviously bread they use for grinders/sandwiches which they may have slightly toasted with some butter and seasoning on top. Bread was tough, no crisp and only a hint of garlic flavor. I have not tried their pizza, perhaps that is the item I should've ordered, I don't know. I wasn't expecting top notch but this place may just have too many menu items to actually put the time into making a few good dishes. read more

The CATERING was EXCEPTIONAL on all levels. We are originally from Chicago, and eat out at fun to "fine" restaurants way too often. With that said, Tufano's has some of the best Italian Beef we've ever had... and by "we" I mean not only me, but EVERYONE attending our party was raving about it. And the fried chicken. And the cole slaw was pretty darned good too. We also had two pizzas for the kids... they loved it. But WOW to that Italian Beef! (And great and timely service too.) read more
