Came to Clark's for some car parts and happened to see this small pizza place next door . We tried walking up to the door and unfortunately realized it was locked, there's no seating nor saw anyone from the glass door. But, The sign said OPEN and saw the phone number to the restaurant outside the window, so my bf and I thought let's give this place a shot , why not call ? We can just wait in the car. :) Came on Yelp to check out the reviews and I can understand why the reviews are mixed . I called the number and luckily saw someone share a Photo of the Menu here on Yelp and already knew what we wanted to try . A medium Pepperoni Pizza with added Mushrooms , Wings , and wanted to try the Potato Wedges bc what pizza place offers Potato Wedges ... It was a very quick call , the guy on the phone said "alright thank you , see you soon" . He wasn't rude , it was just quick and straight to the point. Wasn't quoted a wait time , but we gave it about 15-20 minutes just to be respectful. We walked up to the door again and realized we'd have to call AGAIN to get a hold of anyone about our order . We called , and yes an older Asian man came to the door . He took our Credit Card inside and charged us our total roughly like 27$ and some change . He came back out with our food and receipt and were on our way . It's definitely not the usual experience in regards to Take Out , but it was definitely different . FOOD :: Surprisingly the pizza IS really good . I am NOT a pizza lover and even I had to admit this was a step above a basic pizza . It was easy to bite into , crispy on the crust and nice and soft throughout the toppings , the wings were ok ... I believe they were a little over cooked but were still good , and interestingly after a 20 minute drive home the Potato wedges were nice and crispy too. I was shocked to see the condiments of Cheese and Pepper Flakes , as well as Ranch and Ketchup were included inside our take out containers because I totally forgot to ask for some when we were there which was nice . Placed my order and honestly didn't know what the order taker said but when I repeated my order he said something like, "uh huh." I get to the place and it's locked up but lights are on. The crust is crisp but soft once you bite down On it and the pizza has perfect amount of sauce, I usually get the jalapeño pepperoni pizza and it's the best. I was sent here for a pizza run and Google has it listed that they close at midnight. This was actually incorrect as they close at 11 and when I got here all the lights except one were off and the gate was locked. When I was about to give up and return home the chef came out and was so nice as to ask me what I wanted. I told him and he actually proceeded to turn everything back on to make the pizza. I wish to not give this place a star at all.This is our family 3rd time coming here. The 2x's we came the food was good. Nice and hot, but this 3rd time NOPE!! I called in to place and order. The man said he'll txt me the flyer menu and for me to txt our order in. Keep in mind I have hungry kids and adult esp after swimming on this very hot day. I txt in my order. I go and pick up my order and they charge me $96. Yes i should of double check but I didn't thinking my order was correct and they charge me correct. Seems pricey but when compared to a 2 person meal, it's a deal. Their cheese pizza is now competition with little caesars because little caesars is now 6 bucks and has way too much sauce. Papa joes for sure is a better deal and uses different ingredients which ultimately brings a unique and unforgettable taste. That's saying something because I love little Caesars. However, this place delivers and sells big ass pizzas with tons of meats and cheeses. Papa Joes pizza tastes like childhood. If you want extremely pleasant customer service, please go to restaurant pizza chains where ass kissing is enforced. They are making you pizza for Christ sakes.
