Everything I've ordered here has been fresh and consistently delicious! Each time I visit I try something different and have been happy with my food. Once you order inside, they call your number when it's ready. They have inside and outside seating. Can't beat the view of the marina. They offer an extensive selection of refreshments including wine, beer and ice. Very handy if you're going out boating for the day. Everyone that works here is super nice and happy to answer any questions you may have. I highly recommend eating here!

The good: nice outdoor patio with good view of the marina. Also, there are lots of sandwich and breakfast choices. Lots of fresh veggies on my veggie sandwich. The bad: the cost relative to what you get. I got a veggie sandwich that included olives, spinach, onions, avocado, peppers and they were all fresh. But the whole wheat bread was mushy and couldn't hold the sandwich together--like it got wet and ripped as they mayo was spread. The sandwich, chips, and lemonade was $25-which is a lot even for California.

We liked it. Walked over from marina towers. Had a ruben and a gyro. We each enjoyed it. Gyro was huge and really tasty but I couldn't finish. Ruben was n pretty good also. We had no issues with service or time it took to make our food. They also have a counter for deli meats and cheese, fridges with cold drinks and beer. Great location right on the harbor.

I wish I would have started here. If you are staying on Harbor Island and don't want to travel a couple of miles into town, this place has solid food & beverages (including hard seltzer, beer, & wine) at very affordable prices. Service was quick & accommodating. There's some seating indoors and a nice outdoor area, with a view of the marina. I absolutely loved their wheat bread toast and both the hash browns & eggs were cooked perfectly.

This place is awesome. Right on the marina next to the Sheraton. My friends and I were staying next door and weren't very impressed with the offerings at the hotel. You order at the counter and they call your name. They have a few tables inside, but a lovely patio overlooking the marina. The weather was perfect and we really enjoyed sitting outside. The food came out hot, fresh, and plentiful. If you leave here hungry, there is no pleasing you. I ordered the veggie omelet that was packed full and had avocado on top. It came with a heaping portion of perfectly cooked hashbrowns and sourdough toast. So many people don't take their time to correctly cook hasbrowns, but the lovely woman in the kitchen knows what she is doing. They had big containers of hotsauce and grape and strawberry jelly available. There was nothing else we could have asked for.

Sandwiches were delicious! We ordered the French dip and the au jus said defiantly top notch, the hot pastrami on a roll hit the spot, and the grill cheese was cheesey! Given that the location is on the marina, it was nice to sit outside and enjoy the view. 3 sandwiches costed us $47, so it is overpriced.

We loved the Gyro sandwich sooo much!

The BEST GYRO SANDWICH ever!! Definitely get extra napkins because it is Juicy. Reminded me of the Carl's Jr commercials "if it doesn't get all over the place it doesn't belong in your face!" I can't wait to eat another one. Mmmmmmm

Unassuming little shop in between two Sheraton buildings right along the harbor. They serve all sorts of American-style breakfast and lunch items from pastries to omelettes to sandwiches and ice cream at a surprisingly reasonable price for this area. They don't have much of a drink menu, but there is an extensive fridge of drinks to choose from. While the interior isn't much -- it's pretty much a takeout counter -- the outdoor ambience and seating is where it's at. Especially on the many beautiful, sunny days of San Diego The HASH BROWNS were the best part of the breakfast, in my opinion. They were perfectly fried to a golden brown and very thin, so it's like you're getting the "muffin top" of the hash brown! The photo doesn't do it justice as the hash browns are hiding under the toast. This is how I've always wanted hash browns to be done, but Papanani's managed to execute it to perfection!

We were staying at the Sheraton and wanted something good and not having to drive and I found this place on Yelp. It's literally a 4-5 min walk from our hotel. Serves breakfast, burgers and pizza. Lots of options, made to order food and prices are affordable. There's seating outside next to the boat dock which is nice or u can eat inside. No frills just made to order food!

This place is another hidden gem with something for everyone. Take a look at their menu, it's only one aspect of their business. It serves as a deli and convenience store so if you're going out on your boat, you don't have to worry about forgetting something because they will have it. We stopped in for lunch and I had to ask the patron, "What are your top three best-selling hot sandwiches?" One of the three happened to be the Philly Steak Cheese...which is what I ordered. We also had the Reuben which was also one of the top three, per woman taking our order. Both of these sandwiches were outstanding and it all started with the amazing bread they use. We definitely will go back so we can work our way through their pretty extensive menu. If you want great deli food and want to sit by the San Diego Bay...get there!!

I got to the San Diego Airport early and had some time to kill, so I decided on breakfast on Harbor Island. Nestled between two Sheraton Hotel towers is a quaint building called Safe Harbor Cabrillo Isle which overlooks the bay. You canSee San Diego's skyline, the Coronado Bridge and North Island. The restaurant is on the backside of the Safe Harbor Cabrillo Isle building and overlooks the harbor. I was impressed on the breakfast selection! Tasty food at a good price! Great views of the bay! The cook snd cashier were personable and friendly. Crappy coffee though...so, purchase something out of the cooler to drink.

Right on the dock, indoor/outdoor seating. Huge menu, with large portions. Tried the chix and rice soup, and turkey w/bacon avocado sandwich. Good eats!

The bread they use for deli subs tastes like hot dog buns....too bad because the ingredients were ample and seasoned well.

I like the different variety of table seating to the different rooms of where you can dine. It was inviting and very spacious. Everyone that we encountered was super friendly and outgoing. It was very great hospitality. Our waiter was very helpful and check in on us quite often. The service was Superb. Now the food, we went on a Wednesday which they have Happy Hour all day. We ordered The Record Room Burger which came with Fries. This was very tasty. The fries were excellent. I tried one of my friend's dishes which was the Lamb Meatballs and that was amazing. Sadly, the B&R Mac n Cheese did not do it for me. It was missing seasoning and the flakes tasted stale. The staff did give us salt & pepper to jazz it up which did help. Regardless of the mac n cheese, I really enjoyed this place. The red wine was perfection. Overall it was a great experience and I gotta go back to check out other food items.

We did have a fairly large group so we occupied the entire back wall corner. It was a bit snug in terms of table space and leg space, but we made it work. The staff were doing their best to keep track of everyone's orders, but there were a few mix-ups in the end. Food came out in waves and had a good cadence to the meal. - FOOD - We had a lot to share amongst our group! Wagyu Tartare ($14.00): Really flavorful tartare! Had a nice tartness to it due to the Black Vinegar. Pork Belly Baos ($12.00 - 2pc): Honestly this was just OK to me. Ahi Tuna Crudo ($18.00): Very bright and refreshing. Chicken Satay ($12.00): A little dry on some chicken pieces. Crispy Brussels ($10.00): Not as crispy as I'd hoped but still good. B&R Mac & Cheese ($8.00): Very creamy, very cheesy. The pasta was a bit soft though. Flat Iron Steak & Fries ($25.00): Decent piece of steak, cooked medium well. I honestly enjoyed the fries a lot! However, there must have been something expired, cooked wrong, or just not up to quality as many of us got stomach issues that night and the next day. We were all spread out so not sure what it could have been given we ate a few different items. - OVERALL - It was a cool vibe and they have some good tasting items, but considering a few of us got sick, I'm a bit wary to come back.

So I am glad we decided to share the biscuits and gravy but let me run down each thing. Bloody Mary Flight: Honestly every single one was amazing. My favorite was definitely the pickle Mary! Everything tasted so delicious and was garnished beautifully. Well worth the 22 dollars. Biscuits and Gravy: Absolute perfection of comfort food. The biscuits were so fluffy and well seasoned. The gravy was also soooo good, just like my mom makes. The sausage in it was also cooked so well and juicy. I've never tried mashed potatoes with the biscuits and gravy but it worked very well! Orange Juice: Not a fan really, not pulpy enough and I wasn't a fan of the flavor. Overall this is definitely a must visit! I will definitely be back.

Such a unique touch of earthy-love I'm just glad it wasn't a hour wait or longer how I was repeatedly warned. We got seats right away. Could've been due to the construction on the street near by. As if that wasn't enough, we walked in and realized it was trivia night, which immediately made the evening even better. While looking through the menu, I spotted a salmon bowl. I'm still pretty new to seafood and have recently discovered that I'm actually a big fan of raw salmon, so I figured this was the perfect opportunity to branch out. Well... surprise! For some reason I had convinced myself it was going to be a poke-style bowl with raw salmon, avocado, cucumbers, and all the usual toppings. Instead, it came out with cooked salmon. Even though it wasn't what I expected, the bowl was actually delicious. The funny part is I learned something about myself... I definitely prefer raw salmon over cooked salmon. Not a bad discovery to make over a good meal! The atmosphere was lively without being overwhelming, trivia kept the energy up all night, and the service was friendly from start to finish. Great place to grab a drink, catch up with friends, and maybe even learn something new about your own taste buds.
