    Breakfast Sandwich

Rumorosa is in our hotel, and we visited 3 separate times. The breakfast was great, would definitely recommend, and the cocktails were also tasty (missed a pic opportunity). However, on visit 3, we just wanted a snack. The queso was not good, very grainy like it had been sitting or wasn't mixed/melted thoroughly. The chips were good, but sliced jalapeños were just kind of tossed on top. Don't recommend. Service was great on our breakfast visit, and good and decent on our other two visits. Prices are decent for a hotel restaurant and bar. I really would give 3.5 stars if possible. Definitely go for breakfast and explore the area for other options for lunch and dinner.

Rumorosa is located inside the Sheraton near the San Diego airport. We were flying home and decided to stop here for breakfast before heading out. We went with the buffet, which had a good variety of options including scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, fruit, breads, jams, and cereal. Everything was fresh and there was plenty to choose from. The only thing I wish they had was an omelet station. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated, and the service was very good--friendly and attentive throughout our visit. Overall, it was a nice way to start the day before our flight. We just wish we had another day to spend at the resort, as it seems like a really nice place to stay.

Wonderful service and delicious food! We stayed in the resort and were not expecting much, but Rumorosa went beyond our expectations. We had the breakfast menu on two occasions and the selections were hard to choose from, but we got the steak Benedict and the French toast de olla. The steak Benedict was layered with flavor and beautiful presentation. The sauce was rich with flavor and the steak was tender. The French toast de olla is next level. Served with horchata whipped cream, accompanied by juicy berries and candied pecans- the flavors work well together. We asked for maple syrup but to be honest- it wasn't needed. The service was friendly and the ambience is lively.

Stayed at the Sheraton for a conference and stopped in here for breakfast before heading over to the conference hall. Overall good experience. Huge dining room with lots of seating and a view overlooking the marina if you can snag a seat by the window. Customer service was friendly and organized. Breakfast was overall pretty good and couple with the convenience of being in the hotel lobby I'd definitely eat here again if I stayed at the hotel.

Liked the atmosphere and service. Food was ok, nothing really to brag about. Went for breakfast and dinner. Had shrimp ceviche as an appetizer, raised rib which was tender but the picked onions were weird on this dish the. Then for breakfast had the stead and eggs benedicto.

A nice chill spot at the hotel to grab a drink and some food. The environment was really nice. They had some live music. You can grab a bite to eat as well. The bartenders were lots of fun. Shout out to Adriana, she took care of us all night.

Came here for breakfast as it was conveniently located within the hotel. I took a look at their breakfast buffet and found it underwhelming (although the Mexican pastries and Horchata caught my attention) so I just ordered from their a la carte menu. I got their Cafe de Olla French Toast ($20), which consisted of fresh berries, pecans, citrus maple syrup, and horchata whipped cream on the side. Delicious and filling.

Great customer service. Amazing ambiance. The food was spectacular, the drinks where a lil bit on the sour side but overall great flavors. Eddy and I forgot the name of the hostess where amazing

I'm sad because I never got to eat here since the one time I considered it, it was 11am and breakfast had to ended and lunch started at 12pm and I was hungry now. So only came here for drinks. Ordered "Eye of the Tiger". Super tasty. Sat at the bar. Live music each time. Great vibes

I had a great experience at Rumorosa while staying at the Sheraton. Karla was amazing..., friendly, fun, and super attentive. I sat there for a while to get some work done, and she made sure I was always comfortable and taken care of without ever feeling intrusive. Special shoutout to her for making me feel genuinely welcomed! She also had great food recommendations. I tried the Cali Poke, and it was really good! The sauce it comes with was delicious , it tied in perfectly with the arugula and everything else. If you're ever at the Sheraton or nearby, definitely stop by Rumorosa and ask for Karla, her positive energy will make your dining experience even better. Also, the marina view is fantastic!

We had the good fortune of having Josh to help us tonight. As we head south to live, he was the perfect server. Great happy hour and food. Guac? Best! View best! Highly recommend this spot!! Off we go!

I never thought I'd find myself craving hotel restaurant food but Rumorosa is not just any other "hotel restaurant"...the service, the views, the ambience, the music and the quality of the food and drinks would keep anyone coming back for more. I was welcomed to sit down at the bar by Adriana and was given full service and attention by her and Lorena. Adriana pointed out a couple new menu items and I couldn't help but order both the new Chicken Pozole and Poke Bowl. Wow, wow, wow! The wait for food felt completely seemless as Lorena and Adriana engaged in natural conversation and were both so sweet and genuine. You can tell the two of them have such good energy and it is felt amongst the entire bar. I could tell other patrons were loving them as well. Now about the food! The chicken pozole was made in a green sauce with subtle comforting flavor making it a yummy starter for the meal. And the poke bowl may have just beat out the Tuna Tostada as my top favorite menu item. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves but I left today a happy happy customer with a delicious iced coffee for the road made by Adriana herself right at the bar also! One stop shop...great food, service, entertainment and caffeine!

Service is okay. I came late to the dinner and was challenged to get a menu, drink and order food. I ordered tacos off of the bar bites menu. It was okay, not as good as a local place for me in the Central Valley. The views are amazing

Excellent food and service that is over the top customer oriented. The views from the dining room over the Marina are the best.

We were here for a wedding rehearsal dinner. Both the cocktail hour food and drink and the dinner we had were great.

The moment you step inside, the bi-level space makes a striking impression with its mid-century accents, exposed brick, and warm, moody lighting. It manages to balance a lively, energetic atmosphere with an effortless chicness that feels tailored for a memorable night out. The happy hour here is an absolute standout, featuring an expansive array of creative food options and crafted drinks. The menu brings an inventive Asian fusion twist to bar bites, offering flavor-forward small plates that pair seamlessly with the beverage program. The drinks deserve equal applause: the craft cocktails are meticulously balanced, and the signature ube-inspired cocktails are as vibrant and distinct as they are delicious. Adding to the venue's overall charm is the live music program. Catching live jazz, soul, and blues sets elevates the entire experience from a simple dinner run into a full sensory event. The music creates a vibrant, soulful backdrop without overpowering table conversation, striking just the right rhythm for intimate catch-ups or energetic group gatherings. Whether you are dropping in for a quick drink, indulging in a multi-dish happy hour spread, or lingering late for the live tunes and exceptional cocktails, Books & Records captures everything that makes CS Hospitality's concepts so special. There's a little patio area to the right, and if you have a large group, they ask you to move to the side. They take your order. They weren't! I was surprised by that. I recommend a full order (6) for anyone who has a big American appetite. I thought the pancakes would be the star of the show, but you know what surprised me? THE BACON AND SAUSAGE! The sausage links were sooooooo good. The bacon was thick and absolutely delicious. Our five-year-old got the strawberry patch waffle and that was super tasty!
