Rumorosa is located inside the Sheraton near the San Diego airport. We were flying home and decided to stop here for breakfast before heading out. We went with the buffet, which had a good variety of options including scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, fruit, breads, jams, and cereal. Everything was fresh and there was plenty to choose from. The only thing I wish they had was an omelet station. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant itself is nicely decorated[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], and the service was very good--friendly and attentive throughout our visit. Overall, it was a nice way to start the day before our flight. We just wish we had another day to spend at the resort, as it seems like a really nice place to stay.

Rumorosa is in our hotel, and we visited 3 separate times. The breakfast was great, would definitely recommend, and the cocktails were also tasty (missed a pic opportunity). However, on visit 3, we just wanted a snack. The queso was not good, very grainy like it had been sitting or wasn't mixed/melted thoroughly. The chips were good, but sliced jalapeños were just kind of tossed on top. Don't recommend. Service was great on our breakfast visit, and good and decent on our other two visits. Prices are decent for a hotel restaurant and bar. I really would give 3.5 stars if possible. Definitely go for breakfast and explore the area for other options for lunch and dinner.

Wonderful service and delicious food! We stayed in the resort and were not expecting much, but Rumorosa went beyond our expectations. We had the breakfast menu on two occasions and the selections were hard to choose from, but we got the steak Benedict and the French toast de olla. The steak Benedict was layered with flavor and beautiful presentation. The sauce was rich with flavor and the steak was tender. The French toast de olla is next level. Served with horchata whipped cream, accompanied by juicy berries and candied pecans- the flavors work well together. We asked for maple syrup but to be honest- it wasn't needed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The service was friendly and the ambience is lively.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Liked the atmosphere and service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food was ok, nothing really to brag about. Went for breakfast and dinner. Had shrimp ceviche as an appetizer, raised rib which was tender but the picked onions were weird on this dish the. Then for breakfast had the stead and eggs benedicto.

Stayed at the Sheraton for a conference and stopped in here for breakfast before heading over to the conference hall. Overall good experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Huge dining room with lots of seating and a view overlooking the marina if you can snag a seat by the window.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Customer service was friendly and organized. Breakfast was overall pretty good and couple with the convenience of being in the hotel lobby I'd definitely eat here again if I stayed at the hotel.

The bartenders were lots of fun. Shout out to Adriana, she took care of us all night.

Came here for breakfast as it was conveniently located within the hotel. I took a look at their breakfast buffet and found it underwhelming (although the Mexican pastries and Horchata caught my attention) so I just ordered from their a la carte menu. I got their Cafe de Olla French Toast ($20), which consisted of fresh berries, pecans, citrus maple syrup, and horchata whipped cream on the side. Delicious and filling.

I'm sad because I never got to eat here since the one time I considered it, it was 11am and breakfast had to ended and lunch started at 12pm and I was hungry now. So only came here for drinks. Ordered "Eye of the Tiger". Super tasty. Sat at the bar. Live music each time. Great vibes

Came to Rumerosa for Mother's Day and had a great experience. Service was fantastic from beginning to end. They were fantastic. Food selection was delicious and professionally presented. The fruits and desserts were fresh and neatly displayed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The whole atmosphere was great and a welcoming experience for those who took part in their Mother's Day Special.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I had a great experience at Rumorosa while staying at the Sheraton. Karla was amazing..., friendly, fun, and super attentive. I sat there for a while to get some work done, and she made sure I was always comfortable and taken care of without ever feeling intrusive. Special shoutout to her for making me feel genuinely welcomed! She also had great food recommendations. I tried the Cali Poke, and it was really good! The sauce it comes with was delicious , it tied in perfectly with the arugula and everything else. If you're ever at the Sheraton or nearby, definitely stop by Rumorosa and ask for Karla, her positive energy will make your dining experience even better. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Also, the marina view is fantastic![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

There is nothing like tasting a real, pureed vegetable in a veggie soup. If it started out canned, I wouldn't have known it (not that I'm saying that), and you have to like cheese because you get a thick, melted, and stringy cut on sourdough bread, toasted perfectly to hold up to dipping in the soup. On a warm day, this dish goes great with an IPA or chilled white wine.

Pizza was good, but soggy in the middle. The pasta was good, no complaints there. The sandwich was very lacking in the meat department... It was basically a bread and arugula sandwich. Had very low expectations for the gelato to begin with seeing as the colors were extremely unnatural and the way it was heaped was a clear indication to me that it is not legitimate gelato and unfortunately, I was proven very right. I got the strawberry so that my toddler could have a few few bites and it was so unnatural and weird tasting that she didn't even want any... And if that doesn't say something! My husband got the coffee flavor and he literally took three bites and threw it away as well. I will say, though, on the food front, the prices are reasonable here all things considered, but maybe stick with pasta... based on everything As a whole though, you can likely get a much more legitimate Italian meal somewhere else in the area, but it will probably cost you more.
