I went here after moving into town alittle over 2 months ago, and was looking for a good place to eat since I didn't know what food was good around here. Their food is fresh, cooked amazingly and their curly fries are my personal favorite. On Tuesday, 11/28, I ordered a pizza from this business. My order was taken, I paid for the delivery, but it never came! I contacted the delivery service, and after two phone calls, I found out that the place was CLOSED! No warning, no one answered the phones! No way to run a business. Was an ok experience. its was uncomfortably hot in the place. I order an cold sub and it was really dry but didn't feel like driving back. hardly any mayo on it and they forgot the oils. I will try the place one more time for pizza but definitely won't eat in the place because of it being so hot read more

Pretty decent American-style pies with fair prices, good service and they'll have your pies ready wicked fast. Their wings are legit freshly deep-fried goodness and the broccoli bacon pizza here is a must-try. Recommended. read more

third time now that the lady at the counter has been beyond rude on the phone seems anytime you ask a question it is a huge inconvenience for her to answer it I understand people are short staffed and frustrated due to covid I myself am a manager at a restaurant and but having this type of customer service is horrible you are willing doing this job but this was the bottom of a box that was thrown into our bag not to mention clearly clarified I would like a wrap it was off the menu & I was given a sub instead normally I'd let this slide but with the horrible service I could not. Such a shame when the food is extremely good .... if you don't like the industry then you should leave .... you make this a horrible place to call because it seems as if people are bothering you I've always tipped well here but this place will now get less of my service unless things change read more

Okay. Papa's Pizza doesn't have the best pizza in the area. BUT! They *do* make some pretty damn good wings. My favorite is the sweet chili wings. Today we also tried their Bacon Cheddar Fries and we all enjoyed them. We got our order to-go and the fries were piping hot. One of the nice things about Papa's is that they deliver. Not many (if any) deliver in Mount Joy so it's definitely good to have that option sometimes. On my first visit, the staff was friendly and helpful. The owner (I think it was anyway) knew it was my first time and gave me some suggestions and info. I highly recommend you try their sweet chili wings. Try them on Tuesdays when they're on special. I'm giving 4 stars because of the wings. read more

Mount Joy is a tiny little town and it literally has a half dozen pizza places. None are terrible, but this one doesn't stand out. My kids love coming here, so I go, but I never go without them. Adequate, inexpensive and fast food - but if you want great pizza - keep driving down the street. read more

I had company last night and raved about the cheese steaks..so we ordered some. I was just praising the flavor And the size. I took mine out of the bag and gave my company the bag with their sandwich in. They said "did you get me a small?" I said they only come in one size. It was at least 4" smaller then mine. I've only had pizza and stromboli from Papa's in the half dozen times I've been there, but it's been great. What I most appreciate is that, unlike other pizza shops in the area, they don't skimp on the toppings. Too many times at other places, you get a pizza that has one or two mushrooms, pepperoni, etc on a slice. With Papa's pizza, you get topping in pretty much every bite! read more

I grew up in NJ where the worst independent pizza you can get is better than most of the stuff you can get out here in Lancaster. After a year of trying all the local places, Papa's delivers! The whole slice was the right combo of crisp and chewy, without any grease leaking thru the crust. Sauce was tasty, cheese tasted good. I was thrilled with the pie we got and will definitely be back for more. The only feedback would be to start accepting chip and Apple Pay because it's way more secure than swiping my card, but I'll pay however they want as long as they keep selling delicious pizza that meets NJ standards. read more

We had cheese steaks tonight and they tasted good. But they were quite small for the price you pay. I usually can't eat a whole cheesesteak in one seating but this one was no problem. I'll go to the other pizza places in town in the future where you get a comparable tasting steak sandwich which will fill you up and make you feel like you got your moneys worth. read more

The food here is decent, but nothing out of this world. Their wings are the only thing that have stood out to me, they beat two cousins wings easily. Decent pricing. They deliver to homes, and are the only pizza shop located on Mount Joy that does so. The last time I stopped by for a pick up order, the girl behind the counter was extremely cold and rude to me for no appearant reason. Like I had inconvenienced her with my presence. Did not say hello, did not thank me, just stared at me. In the past I've had much better experiences with their customer service, but the rude counter girl left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I placed an online order for 2 large cheese pizzas to pick up about an hour and a half later. Upon arrival, my order wasn't ready. It was not ready for another 45 minutes. I have ordered a pineapple and bacon pizza on two different occasions and have unfortunately run into issues with the business over common sense customer service etiquette. Each time we received a ham/pineapple pizza. The mistake I understand. It happens. On both accounts, however, the representatives of the business complained about having to return the correct pizza to us. On the second occasion instead of trying to accommodate to the customers needs the employee stated "You ordered a pineapple/ham pizza, I remember! If you want your pineapple/bacon pizza you have to come pick it up because I know you didn't order a pineapple/bacon pizza" She voided the credit card transaction. I then thought to myself "Wow! Kids are starting work early these days! Eight years old?" I then realized she wasn't in fact eight. At least I think I'm right about that but perhaps I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt... It is under my belief, and I'm sure to 90% of the populous, that any decent business providing services are to be accommodating and understanding to their customers during mishaps. Right? Papas pizza is a unique business in that they find it a sufficient practice to turn the cheek during moments when they have made a mistake. I'm not one to believe that the customer is always right all the time. It's a collaborative effort and mistakes happen; but you can't tell me it's a worthy business practice when the childlike presence on the phone is getting paid to show off how much they don't really care about you. read more

We dine in and order out, every time meals are dead on and service is great! Pizza is awesome, Papa's has been a family favorite for years. We order Papa's Pizza a couple of Thursdays a month. Their pizza is awesome. Today was my boyfriend's birthday and I requested for them to make the pizza in a heart shape half pepperoni half cheese. They said yes without hesitation. They are amazing, their employees are so friendly, and best of all their deliveries are super fast! I have been going here for months and always had a good experience...today I tried to call in and order a pizza. The young girl who answered the phone was rude ... Extremely rude !!!!! She put me on hold, then came back on the phone, started to take my order, then interrupted me for my phone number.. Then started over again to take my order, and interrupted again..
