Tell me you have no clue how to make and box a pizza, without telling me you have no clue how to make a pizza.

I have repeatedly tried to like the pizza and bolis for 25 years, 2nd chance after 59th chance. Its just so hit or miss. I would seriously tell the customer something happened and its going to be an extra 10 min to try again, the 1st one was practice. Or, how about sorry we close in 1/2 hr, this came out no so great but if i want it, how about 1/2 price. Where do I start, a 19" pizza jammed into a 16" box and folded over on 3 sides, cold in a 1/4 mile drive home and supposedly just finished(the box wasnt really hot), super thin, yet super soggy, way too much ground beef, and piled in the middle, last order exact same with only plain cheese. Thats a $20 value......worst part is you absolutely knew that pizza was garbage when you pulled it and put it in the box. Its a shame, the owner is super nice guy. If you gotta go stick to fried foods and pasta, the pasta is usually decent to good and occasionally outstanding. Once again its hit or miss with no consistency

Very surprised about how the "talent" working here is willing to serve the worst food that they would never want to eat or pay for. I ordered meatsauce on my eggplant pasta dish. They gave me a dried up hamburger that they chopped up and threw red sauce on it. There is no culinary excellene here. That level of lazy is sad and abhorrent. Redneck italian at it's best. Lol. Stay way from this place. A complete hole in the wall.

    Bad Pizza

Do not order pizza here. We recently ordered pizzas here and they made the entire order so soupy, it was disgusting. The pizza maker knew this but still decided to sell us the pizza. Upon returning home, the cheese and all the toppings were smeared all over the box. The crust was all soggy too due to the excess of sauce used by these careless pizza makers. If you like soggy crust and soupy pizzas this is your spot. You'd be better off ordering dominos cause at least their pizza doesn't look like this.

    Love this pizza box!

Your pizza is my new addiction! All these Karen's from over a year ago almost made me not try your food, then I realized I don't give a crap what other people think, I'm trying it myself. SO glad I did! Now I just have to give your other stuff a try, just not sure I want to stop eating your pizza yet lol. Reminds me of the shop I got pizza from growing up. Also have to say I love your staff, incredibly polite and friendly. I even met some really nice customers while I was in there. You have not seen the last of me... I'll be back!

Nice local pizzeria…read more Was in the area and decided upon here for dinner. From the outside, it looks like a converted house - but most businesses in the area look the same. Inside was spacious enough to where they were having a birthday celebration in progress on one side, leaving all the tables for other patrons on the other side. The menu selection was decent, but I already had my mind set on garlic bread and the bacon chicken ranch pie - both since it has been a little while since I last had it and because I knew I'd be having the rest of it the next day for lunch. The pie was tasty - so tasty that I forgot to take the picture BEFORE I removed a slice. The garlic bread was okay - I've had better but I've also had worse. Garlic bread is often made differently at establishments and it's a taste and choice for preference. The rest of the pie I didn't finish taster just as good the next day when heated up. Really, if I ever go back I do plan to grab this one again. Staff was very nice. Waitress was friendly. I got to talking to one of the owners and it turns out they were from Brooklyn NY. So any doubt about the quality here should automatically be put to rest. Had I known about it previously, I'd have taken a regular slice too. Owners were friendly and welcoming. I've been in their old neighborhood, so we had a nice conversation about the general area. There is no lot, so parking is street. All in all a nice place and a good option for the area. Good for locals who want a more authentic choice for Italian food and of course pizza/ I'd easily return here if I'm in the general area again.

One of the chefs even gave each of us a small tasting plate during our meal, which was such a fun and intimate gesture for this space! We absolutely loved both of the pasta dishes we got. Everything tasted amazing, and so incredibly fresh!! We ordered an appetizer of the bread to start with, this was the only disappointing part of the meal to me. The bread was very crusty, which is not my preference, I was expecting soft bread to dip into the sauces. The flavor of the sauces on the side were excellent. I would definitely come back here. If I lived near this location, the ambience is casual, yet it gives fine dining vibes with the quality of food! The Burrata small plate got us started (so good... we wanted to lick the pesto right off the plate), followed by The Luca Chicken (tasty, though you have to work a bit to get every bit of juicy meat off the bone) and Hanger Steak (medium rare, thank you... perfect), followed by an affogato (so smooth) and the delicious dessert you see in the photo (can't remember what it was called, but they boasted about the Lancaster strawberries). Great from start to finish! Worth noting: We felt GREAT afterward and the next day, a true test of good, real food. No bloating, etc. Last note: It can get loud, but it wasn't over the top. You would think a restaurant would bring the appetizers out first but no that's not what happened they brought the appetizers with the main meal. That was ridiculous and should never have happened. We were in more of a dining room mood but we weren't asked for our opinion and were taken to a high 2-person table in what we assumed was the pizzeria. I have a temperamental back, so these chairs were not going to work for me, so we asked to be relocated to a nicer table. We were shown to another table right away. Both the dining room and pizzeria were nearly full, and hopping with energy! Our expectations were high! Any restaurant that serves Guinness beer on tap earns a bonus star from me! Unfortunately, the flavor was a little off and I get the impression that not too many customers drink the Guinness. It struck me as beer that was a little past its expiration date. Thankfully our food was very good. Everything had a distinctive and agreeable flavor. Even the bread and olive oil had us cutting extra slices. I ordered the quattro formatti pizza and added bacon. It was as unique and tasty as it sounds. If you look closely at the picture you'll see that someone took a bite before I had a chance to photograph it. But apart from that, notice all the different colors and textures, which made for a nice, lively pizza. In the other photo you can see the chicken parmigiana, which they agreed to substitute Alfredo sauce instead of marinara. That was a delicious dish as well! We ended up way too full for dessert!! It's too bad because there were lots of interesting options to choose from. If we ever find ourselves in Mount Joy again we'll surely consider coming here again. The only thing that left a bad taste was the old-tasting beer.
