My husband and I went to eat here after a long day of activity. Lets just say it far surpassed our expectations! We ordered the Green Curry, Spicy Eggplant, and the Thai Tea. Both dishes were delicious and we liked the tea so much we took one to go! Service was also amazing. Everyone was so kind and courteous! We have now left the area but just cant stop thinking about how delicious it all was!

This place doesn't get enough reviews on this site. We stopped here on our way back from royal gorge! There is one women show in front by person taking orders and seating people She quickly took our drink orders and came back to take our food orders We ordered Chilli Chicken with sticky rice, Garlic Noodles, Red curry with sticky rice and basil fried rice with vegetables. Chilli Chicken was new to me and tasted spicy and loved it. My family loved the noodles, curry and fried rice as well. Garlic noodles give you a feeling that you are eating garlic bread. Sticky rice was little tough and difficult to chew! All in all, it was a great place to grab lunch after a long day!

Love this spot. Their food is awesome! Friendly service. We ate both the Pad thai and the drunken noodles and they were both fabulous. Dine in is nice and low key and of course take out is easy! They are in the OLD DQ (behind the newer DQ) - You will see the DQ sign before you see their sign, just FYI. Lots of parking in the lot or the street. Across from Safeway, just off Hwy 50. Try it. It is a winner!

Yummy Thai lives up to its name. This charming Thai restaurant serves delicious food in a light and bright dining room. The portions are large and the prices are reasonable for such fresh and carefully prepared food. Do not hesitate to try Yummy Thai.

    Chicken wings for appetizer!

After rafting our family are so starving. Find out and try... Food is fantastic and service was good. Very happy to get all food. Small restaurant but, clean and cooling. We fully enjoyed. Thank you so much for great food!

My complete order, with 1 1/2 sides of rice missing.

Good food, but very expensive for what it is. Counter service and each plate runs about $18 and the portions are not very large.

It was great! Samosas were light and crispy, Pad Thai was flavorful. If we're ever back this way, we'd eat here again. Yummy is right!

The restaurant was spartan, clean, but the ambiance was akin to the sort of Mexican food joint where you order at the counter. Not a place to take a date or impress. The server seemed harried. One guy, nice, quiet, soft-spoken, but he was taking care of order outs and the dining room. Too much. There seemed to be a very busy take-out business and flow of people. The food: Shrimp shumai - appeared to be straight out of a frozen package. These were not freshly made and they were tiny (tater tot sized). In fact, I think I've even bought this same variety at Lee Hing in COS myself. Meh, unimpressed and way overpriced $8. The entrees were good, nice selection of veggies, steaming hot jasmine rice, nice cutlery and dishes - except - the portion size was very small. The fried string beans were perfectly crispy and the tofu was cooked just right! I would've given this 4 stars if the portions were generous! At $46.60 for 2 peeps, no bevs, and pre-packaged 8-tater tot-sized shumai appetizers, they really need to reconsider their pricing. I would come back for their lunch menu, but will be definitely skipping the appetizers.

Just wow! Ignore the decor, and the lack of cars in the parking lot. (lol) the food was effin amazeballs! It's what you'd expect from a hole-in-a-wall Thai place in the mountains. So yummy. My son eats a lot (and I mean a lot) of Thai food in the Los Angelas/Long Beach/Fullerton areas. We ordered our favorites and was so not disappointed. Seriously, he kept making sounds of food ecstasy (I'd tell him to shuSh, but we were the only ones in the restaurant.) Ü If you're passing through, or lucky enough to be a local, go here. Really.

It's right off the highway and doesn't look like much from the outside. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the owner. We sat down and took a few minutes to look at the menu. There isn't too many Thai restaurants we've come across in Colorado (probably not going to the right area) so we were really excited to see what they offered. We tried their pad Thai, red and green curry, Tom kha soup, Thai tea and coffee. As many people have mentioned, the spice is served on the side. I appreciated it though since our littles don't do well with heat so it was a nice option to have. Everything tasted great, not too oily at all. It may not be the best Thai food I've ever had, but it definitely hit the spot. I recommend this if you're craving for good Thai food around that area

The restaurant was moved because a larger kitchen needed however we didn't know where. Now we found it. It's much larger and menu looks expanded. Nicky decorated and cozy. We were greeted by Trevor who sat us and waited on us as well. He was always available for any questions we had or service needed. We got a couple beers and ordered. I had shrimp pho and my wife had chicken pho. The taste was incredible ( I also enjoy a good pho ) and portions just right per size. We were attended to make sure our needs were met. Pawnee ( spelling ?? ) greeted us and thanked us for stopping in. She is the owner. She made us feel welcomed and special customer. Another couple of customers came in while we dined. We seen them get something from a cooler; so I asked what it was. Sticky rice with blueberries. I asked for one ( I've had sticky rice in Thailand before ) Trevor treated me to a serving. It was just like I remembered. Definitely will be back to dine again. If you're in Salida make it a point to stop in.

It may look small from the outside, but it's quite the restaurant inside. It's spacious and there's even a stage....maybe for kid's performances or karaoke night. I was really looking forward to Asian food, so my expectations were high. Since it was such a large group and ONLY 1 waitress, orders got lost and mixed up, and the wait was long! I was hungry, but also understand that one waitress helping us would take a while. Unfortunately, some were not as patience and had a little 'tude, so I apologize for them. I had the beef pho, since it was a cold night. There were tons of different orders, but my pho was okay. It was kind of warm broth instead of hot and who puts carrots in pho???? That was weird to me. We weren't offered all the right herbs and mints that usually goes with it, but assuming it's in a small town they don't have access to them? It wasn't the best pho I've ever had, nor was it the worst. Just not authentic. Also, it's combination of Southeast cuisine - a little bit of Vietnamese, a little Thai, a little Chinese, and from what I remember only ONE dish that was Cambodian. Everybody on our end of the table was not happy with their food. Some of the ladies weren't happy with their Thai Tea and sent it back. I didn't try it, but the owner came out and questioned it. mmmmm.....I wouldn't questioned why a customer didn't like it just because you made it. You should asked why didn't you like it and how can I improve. Overall, it wasn't a great experience and bellies didn't go home happy. Oh, the food took so long to come out some left. It was disappointing.

Prices have been raised and what once was included in a hibachi lunch is now extra. Yeah, so they raised the prices a couple bucks on all entrees BUT now you DO NOT get soup, salad or the yum yum sauce included - it is all ala carte. So that couple bucks extra is for MUCH less. If you want what you once got included you will pay +$2 per entree and then +$3.50 for the salad, +$2.50 for onion soup (the yum yum was extra too, but we didn't get it so now sure on pricing). $8 price increase for the hibachi lunch! OUTRAGEOUS!!! Now that was annoying enough, but the quality was lower too! The light japanese fried rice is now loaded down with onions (not the light leeks that once speckled it). My chicken was tough. The hubby's filet was tender, but something changed with it too because he said it just wasn't the same. The veggie mix was kind of light too and filled with bok choy - which is fine, but I don't want a pile of cabbage as my side. They do not emphasize the changes. They are simply whited out on the menu. It is a great disappointment to a once beloved place. I am sure the once or twice a year my mother comes we might stop in, but it is out of our rotation. Too expensive and not as good as it once was.
