Had lunch at Papa's in downtown Florence - really good food, this is well worth a stop if you're in the area. A few tables occupied - the service was fast & friendly. Casual small mountain town feel; worth a stop if/when you're touring this part of Colorado

Shared the chicken alfredo with a salad and a white rabbit calzone. We enjoyed both dishes. The chicken Alfredo was not too heavy and the calzone was absolutely delicious. Brownie for dessert! Very fulfilling meal! We'll be back next time we head to the side of town.

An excellent opportunity to eat real pizza in a beautiful small town. Great service, food and prices. We took advantage of the BOGO on Tuesday and had pizza for days! Lot's of other items available but their pizza is so good we cannot resist. A family pleaser and comfy and clean inside. Mangia!

Ordered two Calzone's both of them had very little ingredients inside. I added an additional ingredient in my Southwest Calzone for $1.89. It did make it into the Calzone. Prices shown on the menu photos are wrong. All the menu items have gone up by 20% or more. Our veg tables were raw ie oninons, green pepper and only a few pieces of green Chile pepper. The center of the calzone was sogginess. Will not go back.

The best Boudin Balls I've ever had, fried right on the outside, with savory tender sausage and rice on the inside. Shrimp Po'boy to die for, (and that "Oh-lawd" sauce is no joke), delicious, fresh, and huge! I haven't dug into my Muffuletta yet, but I have no doubt that it will be as delicious as the rest of their food. Between the food, the ambiance, and the friendly folks, Homer's Gumbo Pot is a must, for authentic, delicious Cajun food. Stop in! You won't be disappointed!

It's just a step outside of the main business areas of downtown Canon City, but it is worth the 4-5 min extra drive. As any travel expert would say, you always find the right food places away from the town center. Okay to the food, mind blown. Wife hailing from the gulf coast has exceeding high expectations of Cajun/creole foods so I was preparing for the worst. However to both of our surprise, the food passed judgement with flying colors. The shrimp Po'boy was massive with the perfect amount of shrimp and toppings that kept it a traditional "make your tongue slap the back of your throat" Po'boy! My wife ordered the gumbo which brought the heat and flavors that satisfied her desire to eat something that reminded her of home. All in all, it made her pass out on the way back home. You know that's a good meal! If you are in these parts, I highly recommend you come and visit and give Marcus (owner) and family a hello. They would welcome your business

This was our second visit--our first was dine-in, and everyone was so friendly. Today we ordered burgers, fries, and some yummy root beer, and the food was just as good as we remembered. I even told my husband that every time we come into town, we should stop here because the food is that good. The reason for my lower rating is the service. I waited in the car, but my husband told me that Tiffany was very unfriendly when he picked up the order. He felt like he was inconveniencing her just by being a customer, which really takes away from the experience. People in customer service should be at least welcoming, and that was missing today. We may return for the food, but not for the service we experienced this time.

It's been almost empty every time I go, which I don't mind. The service has always been top notch and very quick. Husband and I ordered the garlic parmesean wings, which I don't know what what they do to them, but always crispy on the outside and cooked perfectly on the inside. We get them every time we go for this reason. I would go just for the wings. The pizzas are great as well and you can't go wrong with any you choose. So far we've had the taco and slopper. Both highly recommend. Our goal is to try every pizza since we can hardly choose just one. Cons: There has to be a con? Not here. We've never had a bad experience and we don't expect to either. Staff is always friendly and welcoming and great food, you really can't find a fault here. Recommended? Absolutely if you want a small family owned pizza and bar. It's not intimate, but small and that's where you get great service. Highly recommend.

Came in about 11:30 and they gave us the breakfast menu. I was planning on ordering from that, so that was fine, but I would have expected to get both the breakfast and lunch menus. I could have asked for it, but still annoying. The only reason I knew they were serving lunch is that I heard someone else order french fries. Anyway, they only have natural sodas - which aren't my thing - so I ordered water. Luckily I sipped it as they literally only asked if we wanted refills after we were done eating. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak Skillet, which had potatoes, the chicken fried steak itself, country gravy, toast and eggs. The food came out in less than 10 minutes, which in itself seemed odd. Anyway, the food: Eggs: I took one bite and barely choked it down. They were thin and dry and had a weird texture. Toast: You can't mess up toast, but it came with a tiny thing of grape jelly (barf) Chicken Fried Steak: Rather than give you a full steak like you would expect, they chopped it up into very tiny bits. I didn't count, but felt like I had less than 10 tiny bites of steak. What I got tasted okay I guess. Potatoes: About half the potatoes were very hard and undercooked. Some of the pieces were okay but after eating a few of the harder ones I just gave up on them. Gravy: The gravy was the best part of the skillet, honestly. Rich in flavor and actually warm. Service was meh. I had to wave her down to check out - after she'd walked by our table several times. We won't be back. The food wasn't worth the price, especially when you leave still hungry.

Prices have been raised and what once was included in a hibachi lunch is now extra. Yeah, so they raised the prices a couple bucks on all entrees BUT now you DO NOT get soup, salad or the yum yum sauce included - it is all ala carte. So that couple bucks extra is for MUCH less. If you want what you once got included you will pay +$2 per entree and then +$3.50 for the salad, +$2.50 for onion soup (the yum yum was extra too, but we didn't get it so now sure on pricing). $8 price increase for the hibachi lunch! OUTRAGEOUS!!! Now that was annoying enough, but the quality was lower too! The light japanese fried rice is now loaded down with onions (not the light leeks that once speckled it). My chicken was tough. The hubby's filet was tender, but something changed with it too because he said it just wasn't the same. The veggie mix was kind of light too and filled with bok choy - which is fine, but I don't want a pile of cabbage as my side. They do not emphasize the changes. They are simply whited out on the menu. It is a great disappointment to a once beloved place. I am sure the once or twice a year my mother comes we might stop in, but it is out of our rotation. Too expensive and not as good as it once was.
