Every bite was fantastic--I'm still dreaming about the black cod bites. The torched salmon aburi was truly melt-in-your-mouth, and the hand rolls reminded me so much of KazuNori in NYC. The fish ceviche was also excellent and incredibly fresh. My one downside was the sake situation. We ordered a bottle, only to be told it wasn't available--this happened three separate times before we finally gave up and asked for three glasses of whatever sake they actually had. That felt like a clear miss on the procurement/inventory side. That said, the space itself is very cool. The interior is covered in collage-style artwork, there's a massive faux tree structure in the center of the room, and a projector playing visuals that really adds to the vibe. Overall, amazing food and atmosphere--just wish the beverage execution matched the rest of the experience.

First time coming to Paperfish and I feel like it was a bit overhyped. I came here with my cousin for a drink and some appetizers and was not impressed by any of it. For starters, we did not see the restaurant until we turned the corner while looking for parking because it looks like it's in an alleyway between other buildings and businesses. We found street parking about half a block away (pay by phone of course). The restaurant does not offer valet and I am unsure if the spaces in front of the restaurant are paid parking or if it's for another business. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the servers were nice and very attentive. They were quick to serve us our drinks and first 2 appetizers, and they cleared the tables quickly when we were done with a dish or drink. However the last appetizer took a bit longer to arrive. Sadly, I was not impressed by the food or drinks, and there was not one thing I ordered that would bring me back to the restaurant. I may have been anticipating coming to this restaurant for so long and expected too much, or maybe the things we ordered are not the things that the restaurant is known for. I would much rather go to another sushi spot.

Order the acevichado roll, you will not regret it!!! It's my favorite sushi roll in Miami! The crispy rice is amazing as well and everything else we ordered! Service is great and the ambiance is amazing. The space isnt too big and the music is always on point and at a good volume for people to enjoy and eat.

We came here on a semi busy Friday night for some sushi. We ordered the baby corn, the jalapeño sushi and the Wagyu. I didn't realize that with the wagyu that you basically have to cook it yourself. you have to be quick because the actual hot stove cools off within a few minutes, so it felt a little rushed to eat it since we were sitting outside. I wish we were more about that prior to ordering. The sushi was really good. It was a little bit spicy, but still great. The baby corn was great. It was very unique and very well seasoned. I was also really happy with the shrimp that we got. It was perfectly coated in a sauce.

Beautiful restaurant with a great vibe and fresh food! My friends and I shared the omakase, which was beautifully presented. It was more like a sushi boat vs the omakase one-by-one experience we may be more used to in the area but it wasn't a disappointment considering the presentation. The fish tasted super fresh and I especially loved the roll they included. Diego did a great job, offering helpful suggestions on food quantity in terms of what would be shareable for a party of 4. He was super attentive and offered great suggestions.

My friends suggested this place for a happy hour on a Friday evening. I got there a little earlier than they did and sat at the bar and was handed the menu for the Miami Spice month. It looked good, but I really wanted to try the happy hour menu my friends spoke of. So I had to ask for it. My friend arrived shortly after and we ordered drinks from it. The drinks not only were delicious, but also very appealing to the eye. The bartender was a little inattentive. She was on her phone for a long time, and genuinely I really don't care, but I clocked it because we were one of the only group sitting there, and there was two of us, and then there was another person sitting by themselves, and we constantly were trying to have to get her attention. However, a second bartender arrived within 15-20 minutes and really turned the night around. We ordered a lot of sushi off the happy hour menu and all of it was amazing. So overall, this is a solid place for sushi and an adequate place for happy hour.

I've been to Paperfish dozens of times since I've moved to Brickell. It's been my go to sushi spot, and have highly recommended it to friends and co-workers to try out (and have previously left 5-star reviews). On Saturday (3/7) we ordered Salmon Furai from Uber Eats, and it arrived with it raw (I wish I had a picture but took it directly in the Uber app for a refund). Never in all our Salmon Furai orders has it been raw, and it is not starred as raw on their menu. I was going to give Paperfish the benefit of the doubt since restaurants can have bad days, but on Sunday (3/8) placed another order for Salmon Furai since we did not get to enjoy Saturdays, and left a comment to please make sure it is cooked. Making sure it is cooked does not mean burning it to a crisp as you can see in the attached photo. I'm not sure if Vida and Estilo is a new food group that bought Paperfish out, but back to back nights with serious food quality issues when I've never previously had an issue is concerning to say the least. Next time, we'll be going to Osaka.

Bogo spicy tuna roll on Grubhub? Yes, please! I ordered two along with a miso soup, and it made the perfect meal. The rolls had just the right amount of heat, and the fish tasted incredibly fresh. No complaints here. I'd definitely order again or even stop by in person!

Went for happy hour but it was almost over the server was nice enough to let me order two drinks and appetizers 4mins before happy hour was over. The drinks were very delicious and the ambiance was very nice. Was able to order Acevichado that was 10/10 the flavors burst into your mouth!! As for the Hamachi Jalapeño it was okay I wouldn't order it again it was lacking flavor. Overall it was a great night out.

This was for sure some of the best sushi I have ever had. We made reservations but did not really need them because it was pretty empty on a Sunday night. Service was very fast and we got our food within 20 minutes of being seated. Everything is so fresh and flavorful! Additionally, they have an amazing happy hour until 7pm. 5 pieces of sushi are $8 during the happy hour. they also have a few drink options on there for only $8. I highly recommend anything on the menu and would definitely dine here if you like sushi!

Overhyped? The restaurant is a bit hard to find. There are a number of parking lots and valet across the street charging a flat rate of $20. There is a small ramp leading you up to the restaurant which can be easily missed if you don't know what to look for. I had made reservations earlier in the day through Open Table and had to wait a short while to be seated. I had indicated in the reservation that we were coming to celebrate a birthday but none of the staff acknowledged this. The restaurant was busy but not too loud. Despite hearing a lot about the ambiance, I did not think the decor was anything out of this world. Given that this was our first time at the restaurant, we took our time looking over the menu. I felt that the waitress was a bit impatient and wanted us to make up our minds. She never offered any suggestions and when we told her we needed a minute she took that literally and did not seem happy we needed more than the additional 60 seconds she provided. We ordered the crispy rice (2 pieces tuna and 2 pieces salmon), the classic ceviche, Paper Tuna roll, Salmon Furai roll, Spicy Tuna roll, and Hamachi Jalapeño roll. I had indicated to the waitress that we wanted the crispy rice and ceviche to start with the rolls brought afterwards, but the sushi came out before anything else. She then brought out the wrong ceviche and the proper order was not brought out until the end of our meal. Despite these mishaps, the table agreed that the food was good. We felt that the ceviche was a bit small but this may have been due to the kitchen rushing the order out. While the sushi was tasty, there are plenty of other sushi spots around Miami that offer similar rolls. Towards the end of our meal, we secretly asked our waitress to bring out a dessert as a surprise to the birthday guest. She then proceeded to clear the table, bring out spoons, and announce that the dessert would be out shortly. Overall, I would not come here to celebrate a special occasion. The service was disappointing and while the food was good, there wasn't anything unique that would justify coming out to Brickell to eat here again.

Came here for a quick sushi date w/ my bestie. Paperfish definitely exceeded our expectations. The food tastes amazing and fresh and the quality is top tier. I tried nigiri for the first time and their 'salmon furai' nigiri is a 10/10 . I had a blueberry lemon drop martini and a lychee martini. Both drinks were strong and the presentation was so cute. Very pleasing and beautiful aesthetics/decor. Our server was very attentive and even the runners were sweet and helpful. Definitely would came back and maybe try their happy hour! read more

Wow. Usually I don't write a bad review but this experience warrants at least a manager to review what is going on. They did not ask us for Acqua Panna but kept refilling our waters with it. We figured maybe they just refilled their water with tap in Acqua Panna bottles since it was not Acqua Panna. But no, they charged us. If you DO order Acqua Panna, please make sure they open it in front of you. Not sure why some items were on happy hour and others were not as we ordered everything at the same time. Food was mediocre and as good as a mainstream generic sushi place. I expected more from Miami but this was very disappointing. I generally do not write bad reviews or if I do, I still give 5 stars but if this review can deter possible customers from coming here, I hope it does. Sorry bro. This restaurant sucked. read more

Was in Miami for work and my friend recommended that I check out Paperfish, said it was one of her favorite spots. It's really cool in there, love the vibe and decor. I also love the Japanese style entrance with the Torii - nice touch! We sat at the bar and ordered a beer and wine to start. We got the crispy rice which was okay, I didn't like the texture actually. I've had better.then we shared the omakase because we wanted a little bit of either. It's a perfect size for 2 people! Presentation is also just wow! So pretty. Everything was really delicious. Wasn't the biggest fan of the scallop but the fatty tuna, hamachi, ceviches... all fantastic. Clean cuts, fresh, good quality sushi. Nice spot! read more

Love love this place! I have been wanting to go back since the last time we went! I went during happy hour again, there has been some change to the menu but nothing major! Parking is so hard there , i did valet right in front of the restaurant but not related to the restaurant for $15 Drink: I had two lychee martini, so so good! Very strong. My friend had a passion fruit martini and it was not as good! Food: The sushi is really good there! Really freshh. My friend ordered the miso soup (not pictured) and it was really good. I had a gyoza (not pictured) it was good, the sauce is really good. Ambiance & Service; When we arrived, it was very quiet and then it got really busy. Joana was a server, she was very nice, ready to assist! She did make a few errors on our order but nothing big. Overall her service was amazing. Price; Our total for sushi and drinks that were on happy hour for two people came out to be $119 including an 18% surcharge that I'm not always a fan of but inflating is at an all time high so i guess i understand! I would say it was pretty expensive but the decor and service made up for it i guess‍ Maybe adding parking somewhere or complimentary valet would be really nice! read more

This place was amazing! I heard about this place from my hotel and snagged a late reservation. Even as a solo dinner- it was great. The host was super nice in accommodating my request for a table and the staff was friendly! I got to aviccido roll which didn't live up to the hype but it was still really good. I was just expecting to be blown away by how others talked about the roll and it wasn't the case. The shisito peppers were delicious and the miso cod was divine! Good food, service, and ambiance. I went for happy hour, which I recommend if you're in a sampling mood. But the portions aren't super tiny so you could still get full. Some of my friends ordered mojitos and they also enjoy them. The cake was no standout though,and the bananas definitely could have been left out. read more

Paperfish has a really cool vibe and we were happy to stumble upon on it on our layover. We were surprised to get a table on a Friday night but we arrived just early enough to get a table. The restaurant filled up shortly after. Our server was very nice and really helpful. One in our party has a gluten allergy, and our server was happy to make recommendations on gluten free options or adjusting certain recipes so she could enjoy them too. The menu is family style so you order for the table. There were four in our party. We ordered two apps, 3 items from the menu, and the omakase for the table. Our server said the omakase was for two, but we thought it was plenty for 3-4. Overall, it was the perfect amount for our table. The sushi is some of the best I've had in a long time. Additionally, the cocktails are great. We enjoyed some of the house recipes as well as a spicy margarita off-menu. All were delish! There are even a couple mocktails on the menu, though I found them very sweet. I would have loved a tart option (no-jito?) or something more savory/spicy (like ginger). read more

Stumbled across PaperFish after scouting to find a nice "girls day" happy hour spot. Finally settled on PaperFish and boy aren't we glad we did! First off the deals are pretty good (7 dollar rolls, select 7 dollar cocktails, etc.) Rolls were super good! I wouldn't go as far to say the absolute best I've ever had in my entire life, but they were still great and super tasty all the same! Loved how it paired with the soy sauce and the presentation. I also recommend topping it with the wasabi added a nice kick to the dish that was spicy but not too much where I felt overwhelmed or like I was fighting for my life . Just a heads up the hamachi jalapeño roll is surprisingly not spicy at all (and my spice tolerance is low). Only downside was that although everything was yummy, we definitely still walked out a little hungry. So happy hour portions weren't big or filling, but it's definitely enough for a light bite to pair with cocktails. Cocktail was very nicely crafted! I was super impressed. Presentation was also good. Service was definitely great! Our server was Maydel and she was super quick/efficient and suggestive! Ambiance is also perfect! Place is super cute from the entrance to the inside. Not too noisy or crowded or overstimulating. It was actually perfect for what we needed which was an intimate girls night. Definitely will be returning at some point and would definitely recommend. read more

Beautiful restaurant, attentive service, but the food was only ok. My friends and I checked out their happy hour. We ordered a lychee martini, whiskey sour, and a dragon mule. My fave was the dragon mule - it was a beautiful pink color and refreshing. For snacks we had their pork & shrimp gyoza, miso shishitos, chef's sashimi, and tiradito apasionado. My fave were the miso shishito peppers. Everything on their HH menu was $7.95 which was a cool way to get an afternoon snack in. I probably wouldn't return, as nothing was outstanding, but we're glad we gave this place a try. read more

Paperfish is one of my favorites places in brickell. The combination of fresh delicious seafood and a very cute pink forward ambiance inside gives you the high scale dining experience without needing to wear a suit and tie. The staff is always so kind and helpful with recommendations. While not the most vegetarian friendly menu in town you can still find things to enjoy if you are looking to dodge seafood entirely. One of my favorite dishes is actually the miso soup. It's very simple yet flavorful and a great appetizer before you get to the main course. I also really love the inside / outdoor option. If it wasn't so hot out I would have definitely preferred to sit outside, but the inside was still a great atmosphere. read more

Paperfish was on my list before ever coming to Miami. And they did not disappoint. We easily got a reservation for an early dinner on a Monday night. Our server was great and gave us suggestions from both the happy hour and regular menus. She was attentive and kept our glasses filled. Everything was really good. The fish is fresh. Here are the stars of the night. The wagyu bao buns are fabulous. The bun is soft, beef was soft with a crunchy outside and the sauce is not overpowering. The black cod bites on the appetizer menu were amazing. The cod was perfectly cooked. With a little squeeze of lime, they were perfect. Last, the acevichado roll was one I saw reviewed on Yelp and everyone was right. The light crunch of the shrimp and the sauce were great. Inside was nice. The sound with the music was hard for my husband to hear everything the server was saying. But didn't take away from the great experience. Well worth every penny spent. read more

Paperfish Sushi while being a beautiful restaurant, honestly fell short for us. The service was fast which was a plus, but the food and drinks weren't nearly as good as other sushi places we've been to. The reviews for this place really hyped them up. Walking in, the restaurant is very nice looking. We were visiting from Houston, and came in for happy hour. Almost everything on the happy hour menu, drinks and food, was only $7.95 which is a great deal. The problem was both the drinks and food was good at best. Everything was underwhelming. We tried their dragon mule, whiskey sour, lychee martini, chef's sashimi, miso shishito, gyoza, and their tiradito apasionado. The drinks while they had a generous heavy pour, were just not balanced flavor wise. The food was good, just nothing really stood out. For how nice the restaurant is, the food didn't live up to expectations. Overall, I'd give Paperfish another chance, but keep my expectations lower. I don't know if it was an off day, or just because we only ordered off the happy hour menu. Cheers. read more

Ultra hip sushi in Brickell. Four stars -- not as a criticism, but because there are TRUE five star sushi experiences around Miami (at much higher price points to be sure). Fun, buzzy room with house music and outdoor area (where we sat). Attentive service that had the same hipness (in a good way) as the whole place. The crispy rice tuna and salmon appetizers were awesome. We worked our way (slowly) through the nigiri, trying their scallop, their wagyu beef, and a couple of others before finishing off with their five-hand-roll plate -- all relatively small and all delicious. The also offer their version of omakase, which was really the chef's choice served all at once with a lot of fanfare with dry ice or sparklers or something that seemed out of place for an otherwise pretty cool and pretty good sushi place -- it was sushi-joint meets TGIFriday's for this diner. Pricier than the run of the mill sushi bar -- you wouldn't order from here for take out -- but good food and a fun night. read more

It's giving Peruvian sushi, which is a nice and common fusion I've been seeing! The sushi portions and smaller than usual ;cut smaller so it fits nicely in your mouth which is nice! Interior and exterior was very nice! I will say it took a bit to find the restraunt because we took an uber and got dropped off, the gps said it was in a parking lot but we eventually found it. I would more so recommend this place during happy hour to take advantage of the drink deals! They do great drinks and service is awesome! Sushi itself for me is 3.5/5 for me! Nothing great but still a lovely time! read more

A bit difficult to find, but certainly worthwhile. Nicely designed restaurant with cozy outdoor space. Because of the heat we sat inside, and ordered dinner. Portions were quite reasonable, food, extremely tasty and was able to linger and eat slowly. The only disappointment was that the iced teas were $5.50 a piece and refills were the same. Food- misuna roll was very good. Sweet and savory. Salmon tasted buttery and fresh. The hamachi was a little dry and not their best batch, which I was a little disappointed about. Drinks- stick to the martinis and classic drinks, that's what they do well. Service- friendly and fast. Ambiance- super cute place. Good music and vibes. Great for any occasion. Had a great time here, even with our 1 year old! Our server Richard was incredibly warm, attentive, and accommodating of a dairy allergy, making sure to bring our kiddo veggies she could eat and keeping her veggie rolls separate from items that contained dairy. Love the mini torii gates leading up to the entrance & the decor. Being from Seattle, we have high standards for seafood and our meal met all of them. Nigiri and sashimi were very fresh & all the garnishes added great flavor. Black cod lettuce cups were perfectly cooked and delicious. Definitely would be coming here often if we were local! 4.5/5 overall The service could have been a little better for the price, but then again when gratuity is included it doesn't really matter to them I guess. We were sat outside because the indoor dining room was apparently full or required a reservation. This was on a Monday. Since we were visiting we decided to stay and try it out anyway. I'm so glad we did! The food was so delicious. We had a few items from the menu. From the signature nigiri, a piece of Asana ($8). P.F. Bao Buns - Wagyu ($16) and Ishiyaki del Mar ($19) from the Zenzai section of the menu. That ishiyaki had a great presentation. The flavor was top two of the night. What stole the show was the Acevichado sushi roll ($19). So good we ordered it twice. I honestly want to go back just to order more! It's 100% what you should get if you go to Paperfish. To drink we ordered the Hana Awaka sparkling sake for $23. I didn't realize how small the bottle was. Overall good experience and I plan to return. read more

We ordered the Lychee martini and the Wasabi martini, both were 10/10!! Expertly balanced I can't say that enough!! For appetizers we ordered the ceviche sampler which consisted of their classic, tuna and smoked fish. All were amazing but my favorite was the tuna! Although not very traditional, it was a nice addition to break up the flavors of the others. Next we had 2 pieces of the Maguro-fooe nigiri, Hotruffle nigiri and Wagyu-ni nigiri. We also had the paper tuna roll - I didn't love this one considering it was their namesake roll. It was missing something for sure. We were still hungry so we opted for 2 pieces of the Ebi San nigiri and the salmon aburi. These had to be our favorite bites of the night!! We also ordered the hamachi jalapeño roll which was my favorite. Everything was super fresh, service was attentive but a bit rushed. I made a reservation and they tried to stick us at this little table literally against a wall and sandwiched between 2 similar tables. I asked to be moved. Sorry but when someone takes the time to make a reservation, you should be giving them preferable seating. Lost the star for me in addition to the rushed service when we specifically asked for courses to be separated. If it can't be accommodated that way, then communicate it. read more

Was in Miami for an overnight before a cruise. Saw this place on Yelp and thought we'd give it a go. First, this place is tucked away from the street, almost a speakeasy feel about it. Great decor and friendly staff. The unique drink menu has something for everyone. The food was excellent. We ordered short ribs, a few rolls, fried rice and a few appetizers. I've been here twice & the food is delicious! I've been once for their happy hour and another time for dinner. Their happy hour is a must, especially if it's your first time to really get a feel for their menu. The restaurant itself is very aesthetically pleasing. The second time I went my server was Ana who was very knowledgeable on the menu and gave great recommendations! The only reason why I gave it 4/5 stars is because both times I've gone with a reservation, the hostess left a sour taste in my mouth with the slight attitude upon arrival. But after my second visit, although at first, my arrival was a little rocky (once again) after voicing my opinion/request and letting it be known that this treatment was a reoccurring thing at the door, she accommodated my request. Which wasn't a crazy or out of the park request, but I simply asked to be put on the waitlist for a table inside (which I was gladly ready to wait for being that the outside patio was uncomfortable due to the mosquitos/rain & seeing that there was ample tables available and many guests getting ready to leave/leaving from their table I figured it wouldn't be that big of a deal). It was a rainy night in Brickell anyways which had the restaurant not as busy as my first visit which was during the peak of high season. But they were hesitant to even put me on the list even after they had just informed me that there currently wasn't a waitlist. Thankfully though, after a few moments I was able to be moved into an indoor table. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant whenever you're in Brickell and craving good sushi. read more

This place reminded me of that one bar in DC that used to have popups and go all out with their decor... specifically the cherry blossom one. Except, this place is always like that! It was absolutely stunning in there. It would've been nice to sit outside, but it was actually pretty hot... but the decor inside made it worth it. There wasn't one dull spot on the wall. Blossoms were everywhere and it was just so colorful in there! I should've taken more pics honestly. It was happy hour time, so we got seated and looked through the menu. There were some sushi and drink specials. Even for happy hour, it was a tad pricey, but it was worth it. The standout cocktail by far for me was their dragon mule. The only thing that threw me off is that it didn't come in a copper mug, but the flavor and look of it? Stunning. Now that I think about it, that's probably why -- the color just pops! The standout food was the sashimi that came with this passionfruit sauce. We got multiple orders of that. The music was chill and the staff were really kind to us. paperfish sushi is one of my go-to spots in brickell and it never misses. the service is always quick, the food and drinks are consistently great, and the vibe is lively without ever feeling overwhelming. this time we each had the shiitake miso soup and shared the spicy tuna roll - both were excellent. on a friday night the atmosphere was buzzing, but our service was still fast and attentive. i've been here countless times and will keep coming back. it's an easy choice for sushi in brickell. read more

After our first drinks, I noticed she spoke to her colleague and he came over and asked if we wanted to close out.. . Wtf kicking us out? We said no and he opened a tab. We did end up coming back to the Lasseter and got a gentleman bartender that was so kind and attentive and made our drinks even better! The attention to detail and love he made in my drinks, so that is why I decided to make make this a 3 stars rather than two. He saved this place. The toilet sitting area is very warm, not very air conditioned properly so expect to be a little warm especially after a couple of sips. It's also the walkway to an actual big restrooms for the whole building. The drinks are VERY pricy but the setting is perfect and makes up for it. Unfortunately, the service was not up to par. Disney priced drinks without the Disney customer service. Do I want to come back? Yes. Am I going to be picky with the vibes coming from the bartender and chose who to go to? Also yes. Hopefully, I can increase the rating.

Just try anything or ask.to be surprised. Remy was our server and he is freaking awesome and has skills. He helped us choose our cocktails cause everything was sounding like a vibe. The food options sound delish and the sliders and pizza seemed to be a hit as we saw that mostly. We were here for drinks though and we stuck to it. Only down fall for us is that we aren't cigar smokers, so the room was filled with it as we didn't know its a cigar lounge as well, but to each his own. Come drink eat and ber merry!

We booked a 6:30 PM reservation so we could grab a happy hour drink before hand. I think the cocktails at the happy hour bar are different from the regular menu. I had an apricot gin cocktail that I didn't love, but was decent and a slow slipper and my husband had a campari cocktail that is great if you like campari. The bartender was accommodating and overheard me asking my husband if he knew how to spritz the lemon peel like she did but he hadn't been paying attention so she did it again. For dinner, I spotted the table next to us dining on the rolls and Caesar salad and decided I wanted both. The server mentioned that salad is one of their most popular. The rolls were light and fluffy, and very large with sweet and savory honey butter. The Caesar salad was good. It comes out as large leafs of romaine, which is a nice presentation but I do think that leads to breadcrumb and dressing distribution being uneven. It was a very good salad dressing though, not too tart or heavy but still creamy and zesty. For our entrees we had the cavatelli with duck ragu which was my favorite. There were both crispy and tender elements to the duck and the pasta just melted in your mouth. We saved a tiny bit of it to take home because we couldn't stop nibbling on it, and it was great the next day too. They brought our steak out after our pasta. We should have specified we wanted them at the same time. By the time our steak arrived we were pretty full. The steak was served tender and juicy. We got the Prime Hanger. I appreciated that the server mentioned their two less expensive cuts were very popular instead of trying to upsell us on their pricier options, as we were very happy with this option. We had some steak leftover as well which was delicious the next day too. As it was perfectly medium rare, we were able to heat it up on a skillet without it overcooking much. We ordered the Bernaise sauce with our steak, but it was not necessary and I probably would have skipped it. Service was good and pretty efficient. They made sure to check on us frequently but the meal was good without any additions. I don't remember if when booking I requested an outdoor table but their patio is quite hot in summer. I think they need some outdoor fans to help with the heat as I was shvitzing a bit. If I were to visit again in the summer I would make sure to specify the need for an indoor table, but I'm sure it's lovely in the winter months. There was also the occasionally fly near our food which did kill the mood a bit and some table fans might help with. There is a gravel parking lot next to the restaurant. When we arrived there was only one spot available so it does fill up.

But my favorite part about the experience was having Joselyne as a server. The moment we sat down she came over and asked about any food allergies and I have some severe allergies, but she was so attentive and mindful of them. I also cannot eat gluten so everything she explained on the menu she explained how to make it gluten free for me so I can still enjoy it and brought out gluten free soy sauce (I didn't even know soy sauce had gluten in it until tonight). We discovered this restaurant yesterday and we all fell in love with it! Chris the manager immediately accommodated us even though it was quite busy, and we didn't have a reservation. we sat at a high table and were able to order from the happy hour many which is fantastic. you cannot beat those prices, especially for the quality of the food! and the drinks Jorge was our server, very nice and knowledgeable. First things first, Diego was an incredible server and the overall vibe of the restaurant is amazing and so pretty inside. Food was solid - recommend the Nikkei ceviche and amazing cocktails. One of the best lychee martinis in miami. Definitely not the most high quality fish but still great and not the highest price so it all works out: honestly lost a star because the hostesses were so rude and had so much attitude even though we had a reservation, wouldn't seat us inside (even though we said when we made res that we wanted inside) and they were just rude about. Paperfish in Miami boasts an incredible outdoor and indoor atmosphere, complete with beautiful cherry blossom trees and a fantastic aesthetic that makes dining here super visually exciting. The ambiance is both chic and inviting, making it a great spot for a night (or day) out. The food, while decent, didn't leave a lasting impression. The dishes were well-prepared and tasty, but nothing stood out as particularly memorable. However, the overall experience, thanks to the stunning decor and pleasant environment, more than made up for it. I recently visited Paper Fish, a favorite go-to restaurant of mine that never fails to impress. The atmosphere is vibrant, and the food is consistently delicious. The second I walked in I was greeted with the nicest and most welcoming staff. The scenery was amazing with the Japanese inspired look. Our server Jocelyn was so nice and very bubbly and helpful with any questions we had about the menu. She was on top of attending to us for any refills of our water or if we wanted some more drinks. She hooked us up by talking to chef and letting them know what each of our flavor preferences were so that they could customize the order to our individual taste. We came to Paperfish for lunch , and since the moment you walk in the restaurant looks AMAZING, from the cherry blossoms separating the bar from the dining area, to the organization and cleanliness of the tables, just amazing, something you don't see done right too much now a days, and they got it Exactly right. We had the Spicy tuna roll and the New York roll, they came out super quick, and the manager Ana was supper attentive and checking on the tables around the restaurant. Let me preface this review by saying that I am a very picky eater when it comes to eating out at restaurants. I always find myself constantly disappointed and what I order or the food quality. The experience I had at paper fish was quite the opposite. The service was spectacular. We got our food so fast, and we were there on a Thursday during happy hour.
