The last time I ordered a grilled ham and cheese and egg sandwich. It was a beautiful sandwich. Today february the fourteenth I ordered the same thing , home fries and a Grilled ham egg and cheese sandwich. The home fries were good but the sandwich was a disaster. I was really disappointed in it. For the price I expected more. I hope the next time they do better. The service was very good. Yvette Took my order. She was very pleasant. Paper milk places always been a place of good food.Good staff friendly atmosphere.

This was, by far, the worst experience we've ever had in Winchester. We came here based on outstanding reviews and recommendations about the food, but unfortunately, that was not our experience today. The sausage we received was burnt and inedible, while the house potatoes were poorly seasoned and overly soggy. To make matters worse, our server was unprofessional--she didn't even introduce herself and exhibited a negative attitude throughout our visit.

My buddy and I flew to Winchester Airport to find a place for breakfast. Got a ride here after a recommendation, and was very pleased! It was busy on a weekday morning, so we grabbed to seats at the bar, and sat next to a few regulars. I ordered a Steak & Egg Omelette, and was quite impressed!! Steak & Egg Omelette, and they use FRESH jalapeño

Breakfast while in town attending the regional Apple Blossom festival- had an opportunity to grab a hearty breakfast before the day's activities. While the food was decent enough, be aware that wifi is spotty and the restaurant is hesitant to give up a password. Lots of senior patronage as a local, friendly gathering place. Suggest hash browns over home fries with your breakfast. Good food, just not overwhelming.

We've been a few times, and food is always good. Service can sometimes be perfunctory...I get the feeling that the place really caters to locals. The kitchen does seem to be a bit single-threaded, but the food has always been good when it comes out. We particularly like sitting at the counter and watching the food being made.

Out the entire order, this is what I got....

For the past few times (more than 4) my online order is never correct. It's like after the line disconnects, you do whatever you want. Didn't ask for double bacon, but somehow ended up with that. I asked for turkey sausage, I don't eat pork!! Ordered scrambled eggs with cheese that never even made it with my order. Your customer service is no longer good. When I come sit, no problems. Online orders are horrible!!! After 6yrs, the past few have gone down hill. Won't be returning... disappointed! Didn't even send plasticware....

I should have gone to Bob Evans. Yes, the locals are there. Obviously, they are completely oblivious to the bad service and yucky food.

The inside gives an older coffee shop vibe and very family owned. The owner is incredibly kind and recognizes everyone that stops by. They have regular and everything bagels and you can get a breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese, bacon or sausage. The portion is huge and it's delicious. The everything bagel is full of flavor and super fluffy but also a layer of crisp. I had the pizza bagel both mornings we came and it was phenomenal. I still think about it and can't wait to come back. The portion is perfect and it also comes on an everything bagel. They also have a lox bagel and you can get bagels to go. The inside is darling with a large area in the back. Amazing place!

Stopped here to grab some breakfast before hitting the road for the long drive home. We just wanted…read morea couple of bagels and some coffee, thought it would only take a few minutes but luckily we didn't have any coins smaller than quarters for the parking meter or we would have run out of time waiting. Walked in to the very small space and were told we needed to order online, so we got out our phones and scanned one of the many QR code signs posted on every surface anordered - two bagels, one with cream cheese and the other with butter. He confirmed he received the orders immediately- even before the payment had gone through. That seemed like a good sign. We waited and watched while he made salads and other orders for people who presumably ordered online before us, but didn't come in to pick up while we were there. Eventually he made our bagels, put them in cardboard baskets, covered them with aluminum foil (not sure why we needed that cardboard waste -- would have been happy with my bagel just wrapped in foil), covered them with paper towels, put them each in separate paper bags, and placed them on the counter while calling our names (even though we were the only people in the place and he had confirmed he knew who we were when he received the order). We took the bagels and walked across the street and got our coffees from the cute cat cafe with the friendly staff. Hit the road, and pulled out our bagels in the car. First bite was so bad that I tossed the rest of the bagel back in the bag... it was so crunchy it was more of a thick bagel chip, and shards of bagel stuck between my teeth like splinters. Certainly one-of-a-kind, I've never had another bagel like it. About 10 miles later I was hungry enough to get the bagel out and try again... this time I kneaded it through the aluminum foil a bit to bread it up first. It was still very crunchy and sharp, but there were some softer bits toward the middle. There wasn't much flavor, except where it was drenched in butter (and those bites tasted like butter, which isn't a bad taste I guess). TLDR, if you want bagels in Winchester WV skip this place and go to Sclafani's.
