They also were concerned that we liked the polish finish, etc and said to let them know if we need to fix anything. I am still here at least twice a month for a pedicure... It has been about three months since the change in management. One would assume with a change like that, that quality would change. NOPE. This was a good change. Not that things were bad before, but there was no uncomfortable shifts in the change. The prices have increased slightly, but they have also extended their services. When I moved back home I was so ready to return here to my favorite nail salon. I was warmly welcomed back, and it looks like I'll probably be coming here every 3 weeks for the rest of my life! My favorite things about Papillon: - really friendly staff - super clean - nice and quiet - typically you don't have to wait long at all - efficient and skilled, I always like what I leave with - affordable prices, better than most!! - no TVs droning on about the horrible news we're always bombarded with - they've got wine and coke! - they always answer the phone if you call A few times I've decided after 2 days I want a polish change or shorter nails or something, and they're always really cool and sweet about it. I also tend to be impatient and leave before my nails dry and then mess them up 5 minutes after I get home. Don't do that. But if you do, it's okay and they'll take care of you. How is this place not packed all the time? We got the Heavenly pedicure. It came with everything I could ever want in a pedicure. Went today for Mother's Day with my mom sister sister in law and daughter. We all enjoyed it everyone was so nice and helpful. It was quiet and relaxing we did go an hour before closing with a reservation and they did everything great no rushing we did pedicures luxury which was very nice and relaxing for $35. Found this salon on yelp. I've always gone To Mansfield to get my nails done. So glad I stopped by. Very clean and relaxing. A little bit pricey for what I'm used to paying. $45 for a French tip gel fill, file down, and eye brow wax. But totally worth it. Ill know for sure if this will be new spot after I try their pedicure services. I hope so since they are so close to home. read more

Now I know why this place is so empty all the time, this place is not worth going to. I feel like they always find a way to cheat you by overpricing. Last I knew, they charge $12 just like most places for a basic manicure but they ended up charging me $19 and on top of that I tipped them $5. I got my nails done here today and there are scuffs on one nail and they're all around terrible. The lady who did my nails made three of my cuticles bleed and then proceeded to put alcohol on my cuticle to clean it up, and when I pulled away because it stung she asked me why are you pulling away? I'm trying to do your nails. When she was putting on the fake nails she cut it and I said can you go little shorter and she said no that's good it upsets me when people tell me what I want when I'm paying for something and I know what I personally want. there are chunks of acrylic on the underside of the fake nail. she sanded my nail down so thin that when she put the acrylic on my thumbs it burned. I've been here before and they've done a great job but, I'm very very disappointed I won't be going back..ever. read more

First time here. My normal shop was booked so I am glad this place was nearby. Deluxe manicure is $38 which is cheaper than my normal spot. The service comes with a drink, wax, massage, and stones. I tried this place on 6/26/15 after my usual nail salon failed me. I was pleased overall with my mani/pedi and the efficiency of the staff. They have a nice selection of gel nail colors and weren't priced too badly. I left off a star because I got my eyebrows waxed and I had to keep giving her instructions on a simple clean arch, also one of the girls moved my purse from a chair to the floor and that is just a pet peeve of mine (I hate for my purse to be on the floor). I moved to arlington 3 years ago and been searching for a friendly, clean nail salon. Found one!!! Very clean, staff is super friendly, communication is easy and the work is excellent. Now my mom and grandmother drive 45 miles each way to get monthly services as well. 2 hours in a chair for a 30 min pedicure and the man that did it made me bleed twice and continued to rough up my feet until I said "HEY THAT HURTS!" No apology, just a quick application of something to stop my bleeding cuticle. The woman next to me had been there going on 3 hours because she was getting a manicure also.
