I'm very happy with Papo Construction and will use them again for future projects. Contacted through Yelp and got very fast responses from the owner, which I appreciated. He was the only person who took on my project. They showed up when promised and completed the job I needed in a good amount of time. I needed a new range hood removed and a new one installed. I had the new one already so the old one just needed removal and new one put in. The old range hood was extremely old and in desperate need of replacement. Service was excellent, timely, and the new range hood works perfectly. The price quoted was also very reasonable. I had a shower leak from the second floor that was repaired by a plumber and needed to find someone to repair the drywall and treat the mold. I am very glad I found Papo Construction. Responded quickly with a reasonable quote from just the pictures. I worked with Mark, whom came out on time and was extremely professional with the whole process. Amazing work and very good service. I inquired about installing eight ceiling fans and two floodlights, and they came in and got it done very quickly. Very knowledgeable. He let me know that the light switches that I had pre-installed wouldn't work with the fans, so he changed my switches too. If I have future work that needs to be done and I will make sure to contact them always as my electrician. read more

Called Papo Construction on a Monday. He answered his phone!!! which is rare not to get voicemail from contractors these days. He asked for pics of the job. Texted him pics of the stucco work needed. Got an estimate within 10 minutes. He would've come that Wednesday, but I could only schedule that Friday- totally agreeable. Pretty much mind blown at the efficiency. They showed up on time (think it's a father/son team?), and finished the work in an hour, all at a decent rate. Work turned out good. You can see they get high reviews and plenty of pics for refs. Wow! Talk about efficient quality work! My landlord called Papo Construction yesterday as we have not had half our ceiling for weeks. She was tired of waiting for other drywall companies who booked us weeks from now. Papo Construction was able to come the next morning first thing and start work! They were incredibly professional. I reached out to Papo construction to install a Nema 14-50 outlet for my electric vehicle. They messaged me back almost immediately giving me a quote and providing additional information on what work would be done. They also came out and installed it on a Sunday and the gentleman that installed was very professional and nice. He even double checked everything I wanted done before starting. Papo Construction did an excellent job repairing stucco damage on our exterior wall. I used Yelp to get quotes for the job and Papo Construction replied quickly. I requested the quote Thursday evening and let them know I needed the wall repaired before noon on Saturday for an open house. They showed up at 8:30 am on Saturday and finished before 10:30 am. Another company quoted a higher price and said it would take two days to finish. Another company quoted a higher price and didn't include repainting the wall. This company started out his quote at $600 for this patch job. He indicates it gas to be done right or I'll have leaks. He must be charging $580 for labor. As a licensed contractor he should have the materials for this small project. I'm writing this review because this persons price is ridiculous. I've watched videos on how to do this repair. The only reason I'm looking for contractor is I don't want to buy the materials to never use them again. I'll end up throwing bags of stucco mix away. This person must have tools made of gold. I needed the cracks in the stucco sealed prior to the rain. This business responded in a very timely manner and completed the repairs on the same day. The repairs were completed efficiently as it prevented further water from entering my home. The cost was a little too high in my opinion. The area surrounding the sliding glass door and a few cracks were $1200. I would recommend this business due to efficiency. read more

Review Excellent job and done quickly! I shopped around with other contractors and not only was Papo the most cost effective, he also got the job done in less than a week. I hired Papo Construction for a remodel of my kitchen in February 2022. I purchased the cabinets from Home Depot and Papo and his team took care of the rest. Demo, removal, new floor, new lights, cabinet install, new quartz countertop, painting, backsplash install, minor electrical work, and cleanup. Everything was done with care and they kept me updated throughout the whole process. And the amount of attention into the backsplash is stellar! Papo and his son Mark even walked me through a couple of unexpected small modifications that were done with very reasonable cost. Papo repaired some damaged areas in our stucco. One area was due to construction. They came out as they said they would. Gave us an estimate right away. They came back 2-3 business days later and did the job. It looks beautiful! Better than I hoped for. We were happily surprised that they showed up when they said they would each time, their work is great, they did the job in the amount of time they said they would, and they cleaned up great. There was one mishap. After they finished the patio light (that was taken off to stucco around) didn't work, nor did the other switches on the same panel as the switch for the patio light. My husband did call Pabo and he sent one of his guys back to my house to check out the situation. He was not able to figure out the problem. I had an electrician come to check it out, after I flipped all the breaker switches and the GFIs in the kitchen. It turned out the GFI in a bathroom was tripped that cut off the power to the kitchen switches. The electrician explained the ground wire touched another wire and that is what tripped the GFI, causing power to be cut off. So, when the patio light was taken off the wires touched. It's all fixed now, and all is good. Stuff happens. It was an accident. Bottom line. They did beautiful work, and I would hire them again. I recommend Pabo for your stucco needs. read more

We chose to hire Papo and team for their responsiveness and fairly priced estimate for enclosing an open den and adding a closet making it an extra bedroom/office space. The project needed electrical work, framing, drywall and painting. We provided the door and fan to install and the rest was taken care of by Papo and team. This project was completed in 3 days! I have done a lot of work over the years and am happy to say that if you live in this area, he is your guy. He was fair and honest from the get go. The price he gives you is the price you will pay. I never received any surprise "change orders". As contractors go, Omar was VERY open and communicative. No problems ever getting him or his crew on the phone. He had great suggestions on all things we discussed. Always seemed to know a lot about his work and various things people like. The project was a big one, and I am super happy with how fast it went. He even got started for us over Thanksgiving and Xmas, and his crew would show up on Saturday or Sunday sometimes to keep on working (which was fine with us!). There were no subcontractors involved... everything was through Noor Construction. If we had any minor issues that needed correcting, Omar would come and look at it and tell his crew what to do. We really appreciate the details, crown molding and trim was superbly done, and the tile was just amazing, we are very impressed with his team. I mean seriously anyone who has attempted to do crown molding in the past knows what I am talking about. For details if you've made it this far, our story: Where shall I start. I suppose we start with the idea: build a bedroom in the second floor space of our "great room" which has really tall ceilings... like 30 feet plus. So basically add a bedroom in the second story "empty space" above the first floor. Easy right? Well, after getting ghosted by several contractors, I finally called Omar. He informed he thought we were probably getting ghosted because the architect had told him that footings were needed to support this new bedroom which would be sort of like an island in the middle of the house. We live on a hill, so these support columns would have to go through the first floor, basement, and then under the house. This added to the cost, but we really wanted a bedroom in that space. Omar gave me a price. I told him no thanks, my wife and I thought well maybe we changed our mind as the cost came in higher with the footing work. After a few weeks, we talked it over, changed our minds. We really needed the bedroom. I called him, thinking "gosh he probably won't want our work". Omar came back, no change in price, same deal as before, he didn't even bat an eye, he was ready to go, and this was like 4 weeks later after I told him no. So yea, it was project that I was told was too much for people, everyone didn't want to go get permits or deal with the footings... Omar told us what to expect and stuck to the plan. He dealt with the County and the inspector always came and said even himself "these guys know what they are doing". We passed all inspections. Omar even was super flexible about adding things to the project as we went along, as you know I get ideas about what I might want, we added some carpeting and shelving, and additional tile work that he added at no additional cost to him. He really just knows what he is doing and is super on top of things. So go with Noor Construction if you have the chance, you won't regret it!
