Service was great... But the prices! Are you kidding me... The stuffed crab i got was freezing cold in the middle. Wasnt too impressed. I have had better read more

I recently had the pleasure of eating here the other night. The wife and I love their blackened sea bass. However, I wish we had gotten a little more time with our waiter I think his name was Tyler. Not only was he an exceptional waiter but he also had a fantastic smile. I've never been in the presence of a more glorious beard like the on my Tyler. He is an inspiration to us all and pappadeauxs should put this man on a pedestal and worship him like the god he is. But alas this gift to us all did screw up our drink order. No tip for him. read more

Good cajun cuisine with lots of choices. Great drinks. If you like cajun seafood this is a great place. Kind of pricey. Always crowded but really lots of seating and quick service. Daily specials. read more

This place was great. There is a large selection of entrees. The portion sizes are pretty big. Since it was our first time, the server explained the menu. A manager stopped by the table and offered us a free dessert. The food is quite pricey, but if you have the money to spare for a nice seafood dinner, this is the place I would go. read more

Beaumont seems to be our restaurant stop when we travel to Orleans. We stopped at Lupes on the way down and at papadeauxs on our way back. This was our second trip to this location and as with all of their locations this was a great experience. We were seated right away and I ordered my usual which is their seafood platter which is the best. My wife had the fish special which I think was Sea Bass. It was wonderful. I love this restaurant and always look for one where ever we travel. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good cajun seafood. read more

I live in Beaumont and appreciate that, despite being a chain, Pappadeaux's stays fresh, on point and continues to keep its service standards top notch. For these reasons, it is one if the few chain restaurants we regularly frequent. My latest visit was a takeout experience where I ordered our favorite: The chopped salad with crawfish. It's huge, full of spicy fried crawfish, boiled eggs, avocado, cheese, bacon, and greens served with a special dressing I can't begin to describe except perfect for this salad! And it's served with warm French bread and butter. (I'm writing this at lunch time and it's making me so hungry I may have to get another!) A special request made of 'Grant', who took our phone order, was not only handled graciously, but was done so with a positive spirit. It made our day. Thanks - it's not often that even delicious takeout food receives the benefit of such awesome service. read more

Nice place，nice bread and nice grill. A little crowed even at workdays noon. Like those seats by the window.

I love this place! Their food is great, everyone is pleasant and ready to help. My food took a little longer to come out, which I hadn't noticed because I was in no hurry, and they apologized and took care if my appetizer. Like I said I was in no hurry, but it's nice to know that they noticed and kept me from complaining. Try the crab and artichoke dip. It's the best! read more

Courtney is a superstar! We were heading back home to Texas after a week on the Emerald Coast of Florida. We were road weary and Courtney picked up on that immediately. She said "we need to get you some food now." She took our order all at once and hustled the bread and drinks to our table. The food got there quickly and was absolutely awesome. It was the best bowl of seafood gumbo ever. There was so much fresh crab and shrimp that when you got done with the seafood there was only a teaspoon of broth left. Meanwhile, Courtney made sure that our tea and water glasses never got below half full and anything we needed was there before we even thought to ask for it. Our evening of excellence started when we were told at 7:10 pm on a Saturday night that our wait would be 25-30 minutes and we were in our seat by 7:30 pm. Six star service all the way around!!!!!! Obviously I will return anytime that I am in the area. I highly recommend that you do the same. read more

We were traveling through Beaumont, TX and decided to have dinner at Pappadeaux. As seniors we decided to share a fried shrimp platter, adding a garden salad and a loaded baked potato. Pappadeaux honors the lunch prices for seniors 62 years of age or older. We had the best waiter named Sammy. His service was impeccable and he was so genuinely friendly, asking us where we were from and whether it was our first visit to the restaurant. The salad was one of the best I have ever had with fresh mixed greens, tomatoes, purple onion, cheese, bacon and wonderful croutons made from the French bread they serve. The portion was large for a house salad. The fried shrimp was breaded lightly (with panko?) and fried in cottonseed oil. They were light and the coating was crispy and not greasy at all. The loaded potato was huge and was filled with butter, sour cream, cheese, bacon and chives. We topped the meal off with the praline bread pudding topped with vanilla ice cream. It was so delicious! This was such a memorable meal. A manager came by to meet us and to welcome us to the restaurant. He was also very personable and knowledgeable about the restaurants the family owns in other states and cities. I highly recommend giving Pappadeaux a try if you are in the area. If you are fortunate, perhaps Sammy will be your server! read more

We used to love dining here... but today we came to celebrate two friends Birthdays and have had the worst service ever. After waiting 30 minutes for a table , we now have been waiting an hour and twenty five minutes for our food. read more

Obscenely overpriced. 40% more expensive than Floyd's a few blocks away. Spent $75 on 2 meals with water to drink, no appetizer. Had to clean the shrimp better and were so spicy they were uneatable. Picked up fast food on the way home to eat. Poor wait staff only there to up-sell and hustle you out of more cash. $44 for a steak is complete rape. For $50 you can get Brazilian 13 grilled meat meal. For the fool looking for ambiance this is the place. Real "pretty" but you are paying for decorations not food quality, quantity, taste or service. Would not recommend to my enemies. read more

Last Monday was my last chemo treatment for battling Leukimia over the last 8 months. My wife planned a surprise dinner with my friends at your location and I just wanted to let you know that I had the best experience I've ever had at this location. Stewart was the best waiter and the manager on duty came by and congratulated me. The food and drinks were excellent and everything couldn't have gone more perfect for my celebration. I have been going to Pappadeaux's for more than 10 years and this experience was the best overall. Not many restaurants go above and beyond like yall did that night. Thanks,Brian read more

I'd go there just for Dorothy :) she gets me all hot-n-bothered. And she makes good drinks also!

I have visited there several times and find that the food while exceptional is not always what I can eat with my shrimp crab, lobster allergy ... But that said, I was fairly pleased with the food, and the service ... They rate a return in my world ... !~ read more

This restaurant has an exceptional variety of food to choose from and always comes out fresh and delectable... The service is top rate and the staff is very amicable. This was really a treat for me at this location. It was a little wait due to a big party that was there before arrival but after receiving my food, it was truly worth waiting. I ask for their Pasta similar to the ORECCHIETTE PASTA with asparagus, and their veggies with the Leblanc & Alexandra wine sauces together!!!! OMG.... it was amazing... I got the lunch special and I got 4 meals out of it ..... great food & great prices read more

I have been to Pappadeaux in San Antonio twice a few years back.. Both of my experiences before were not pleasant at all, food and service both. years later, which it's today specifically, celebrating my partners birthday. They insisted to go to Pappadeaux here in Beaumont. I decided to give it another chance. We sat at a booth at the bar. Server, at first very attentive. I order a filet mignon, which I know this is not a prime steakhouse by any means, and still pricy.. but my filet was way undercooked to what the temperature I had ordered it. Not only that but also the cut was not the best. (Fatty) I let my server know, and I thought I was very clear when I mentioned I didn't care for the cut of the steak. Which I meant I wanted a new and BETTER quality. He came back to my table with a more "well done" cooked steak (same steak!!).. I brought it up to his attention asking him, is this the same steak??? He said yes it is.. after I pushed the plate to the adage of the table, he didn't come back to ask if everything was ok.. he completely tried to ignore the situation until I flagged him down... the bill was not cheep at all.. but the MOST surprising thing about this experience to Pappadeaux, once again!.. no one manager touched our table to make sure everything was ok, or AT LEAST! To make the situation more pleasant and make it right to the guest, Disappointed one more time. read more

The food was great. But the downsides to it was they were way over priced for what was offered. The kids menu prices were even a little high. Plus they charged us for a refill on the lemonade. I have never gone to a place that charges for refills so not sure on that. Then later on in the night it gave both my husband and myself upset stomachs. Its a nice place but not worth the price. Its not a place we plan to return to. read more

My husband and I were in Texas for 10 days, including Fort Worth, Dallas, and San Marcos. Our last night there was in Beaumont, and we went to this restaurant because it was across the street from the Holiday Inn where we stayed. (Priority points chose that location, but it needs a good review, too). Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen had a great atmosphere, good service, and the best food we had the entire time we were in Texas. Wish we had one near where we live....we'd be there really often. Thanks for a great meal on our last night of our Texas trip! read more

Very nice casual place with good prices. Service was great and attractive. That gets it an extra star.

I eat here a few times each month. I have had take out and dine in a lot of times. The food is always been great. The servers have been friendly and helpful. The cant go wrong dish is the Pappadeaux Platter has lots of everything. The drinks are very good to. As with any place on Saturday evening expect a wait to be seated. read more

So delicious! The freshest seafood I have ever had. There was nothing heavy or over breaded on the fish. Spaghetti squash and green beans are out of this world. The service was world class. It was our first time and our server Val was great! She made some really good recommendations and took the time to explain where the seafood comes from and how it was prepared. Would suggest to anyone who likes seafood. read more

Our favorite place to eat in Beaumont. Everthing I've tried has been good. My favorites are the Crawfish combination and the seafood mixed grill. The crawfish combination is fried crawfish tails and also crawfish etoufee with dirty rice. Their crawfish etoufee is the one of the best things I've eaten. The seafood mixed grill has shrimp, scallops, salmon, zuchinni, green peppers, and is served with an awesome lemon scampi butter. Portions are huge. Even the lunch portions are enough food for two. I usually find myself continuing to eat far after the point where I am full though. read more

This review is for bisque, alligator, & filet Mignon fans! On the appetizer menu skip the fondue someone in the kitchen has no clue how a real fondue should look & taste. The gumbo has okra something our waiter said was not do. There went $10. I hate okra. But the alligator, creamy bisque, and filet Oscar are top notch! Well worth the price absolutely fabulous definitely our special occasion place!! read more

The best seafood you can find for the price that you pay is right here at Pappadeaux! I always get the fried alligator for an appetizer, pricey (medium was 14.95) but it's beyond delicious! Same goes for the shrimp and crawfish fondeaux. The entrée I get is always different, but it never disappoints. The most I could say is season up the pasta mardi gras, it's sort of bland maybe add some spiciness to it! Other than that, my service is always great! read more

I LOVE PAPPADEAUX. Their food is always great and the service is SUPERB! I absolutely love the seafood gumbo and the shrimp and crab fondeaux ! There is also a manager there named Chris H. who defiantly makes your experience one of a kind. If you have any issues asks for him and he'll fix everything with a smile. read more

Lovely atmosphere staff super nice. Just had the lump crab Cobb salad and it was wonderful. The desert tray is unbelievable.

The food was ok, a little pricey. If you get Cory for a waiter ask to be reseated at another table. Sssssslllllllooooooowwwwww. Had to ask for water three times and finally the other waitress that brought our food got us some water. Not very satisfied with service. Food was good but thought it was over priced. read more

The Atlantic salmon is immaculate. 10/10 recommend. Great dining experience. Would come here everyday if I could. I have vivid dreams about the immaculate Atlantic salmon. If you have not tried this fine eating establishment you should, it is simply the best in town hands down. Do you like overcooked over salted food? Well this is your place, for the low price of $25 you get 6 medium sized shrimp wrapped in bacon, with no cheese or hot pepper to be found, and possibly the WORST excuse for dirty rice I've ever had.. I live in Houston and know precisely what "Shrimp en brochette" should taste like, here it was just plain AWFUL! Service was painfully slow, beer was cold and unlike my water that was kept full. Just kills me to pay $25 for half a dozen medium shrimp, cooked until they're rubbery, and way way way way way over salted, and dirty rice that would likely pass for dog food. Consumed roughly a gallon of water later to balance my salt levels, seriously this restaurant may look nice and have the same menu as their name sake in the big city, but the quality is AWFUL, and the service was roughly the same inattentive and slow, took me 30+ minutes just to get silverware, and another 10+ for them to get some bread to our table. read more

Again, another bad meal. Ordered fried oysters, got a plate of mostly fried salty batter. There were a few that were oysters. Just not good. Ordered a baked potato, wasn't how I had requested. What does the server ask when the kitchen sends it out how they choose? read more

Great food. Terrible service. It was over 15 min for drinks, then asked for a water 3 times and two waiters before getting one. Our waiter would disappear for blocks of time and never asked if we wanted any refills. read more

Had a working lunch there on 06/17/2020 at about noon, ordered the lunch Fried Shrimp combo plate. It was terrible!!! My co-worker ordered the same plate and hers was also terrible. The third person ordered the COSTA RICAN MAHI & SHRIMP ETOUFFEE along with green beans. Her plate was so bad that she left it on the table. On the Fried shrimp combo plate, the french fries were hard and luke warm, like leftovers from the previous day that had been rewarmed, the catfish was crispy on the outside but mushy on the inside, the shrimp (3 pieces) was overcooked and cold and the (3) chicken pieces were cold and looked like they were from a kids meal. The third persons meal was so messed up it was indescribable! The Etouffee was supposed to have dirty rice but she requested white rice instead, which she didn't get. She asked for lump crab on top of the Mahi but instead it was put on top of and in the Etouffee. When she pointed these issues out to the server, they took her plate and brought it back but still no rice. Finally a big to-go box full of white rice was brought to the table and it appeared to also be leftover rice. This restaurant is way over priced, the quality/quantity of the food is very poor and the service leaves a lot to be desired. read more

I have eaten many times at other Pappadeaux, mainly at Houston airports. Don't eat at the Beaumont one, the food is good as always but I had to search through 3 sets of silverware to find a clean fork, never did find a knife that wasn't crusty with old food. Turned my stomach and sure didn't enjoy the food. read more
