Ergo, we went to their sister location on Melbourne Beach, the one right across from Paradise Beach. Maybe, I was expecting a bit more as the Melbourne Beach location is the newer location meaning it had the OG to learn from, but it did not live up to that standard, at least the one I had in my head. Though an address is provided, this Ichabod's Bar & Grille - which I will shorthand simply to Ichabod's for the remainder of this review - is located as a stand-alone business right across the entrance to Paradise Beach. Ichabod's surely has that look of being a dockside restaurant despite being "landlocked," but good luck parking nearby. The parking situation has always been bad around the area. Inside, the seating is limited in which the majority of seating seems to be at the two bars. I guess Ichabod's is catering to a certain demographic pertaining to who dines inside. Outside, there are more tables for families and groups. That is where my family and I sat for our meal. Our waitress Jordanann, God bless her soul, was the only waitress working. She was running around like a chicken with their head cut off as she served everyone both inside and outside the restaurant. Despite her situation, she remained focused and kind. I definitely gave her a big tip for how hard she worked. As for the food, it was... well... okay. I always get fried fist fillets whenevere I come to a new seafood restaurant, along with crab cakes. There was shell in the crab cake, which I find to be a bit of a norm with a little piece, but there were some thoroughly recognizable pieces in my mouth when biting right in. And the fish, well... it was... okay. Not the best fish I ever had, but not bad where I would not finish it or at least take it home. Other food my family ordered includes the Mahi Sandwich, Our Burger, Shrimp Wrap, Caprese Burger, Jerk Mahi Plate, and the Jerk Shrimp Plate. Overall, the initial visit was very lacking. You really need to educate your employees AND the managers on ADA laws! There is no such thing as identification for service dogs. The websites online are scams and are not a legitimate identification. They are FAKE. Businesses CANNOT do the following: Ask for documentation or proof that the animal has been certified, trained, or licensed as a service animal. Ask about the individuals disabilities. Charge additional fees for said service dog Refuse admittance, isolate, segregate, or treat the individual less favorably than others. Request to see said service dogs shot records. The ONLY thing that can be asked is: Is the animal required because of a disability? What work or task has the animal been trained to perform? With that said, maybe when my friend files a formal complaint with the Department of Justice, you will give her the apology she deserves after being humiliated! read more

Ate here many of times and very happy with the service and selection. Plus the prices are great. I got a Stromboli one day and it was pretty cheap for the size and tastes great. The worst Management I've ever seen! Waited well over an hour for food and when it came out it was cold and the Management didn't want to do anything about because they were "busy". They were out of all kinds of different beer, then it was warm, out of hoagie rolls too. Also I've heard the most of the service staff there has drug problems and Management allows them to do drugs while working their shifts! We just moved from NJ/NYC. Who says you won't get good Italian dishes and pizza in Florida!? Wow. We got the Lasagna and a Davinci calzone. It was all great. Big portions. And every time she tries to voice what happened on their facebook as a review, her post is deleted by the restaurant. They are rude and ignorant. I recommend taking your money else where. Most people would think there wasn't enough turkey on the turkey sub, but for me, it was just enough with nice fresh lettuce and tomato. The sub roll was nicely toasted. The Greek salad I would not really call "Greek." It's basically an iceberg lettuce salad with some feta on it. There is a bottle of homemade dressing on the table for guests to use as needed to dress salads and sandwiches. Hopefully, these are cleaned regularly because the outside of the bottle was a little greasy. My companion had the lunch spaghetti with meat sauce and Greek salad. It included a few pieces of garlic bread, and she said it tasted okay, not great, but okay. The sauce was a little bland. I gave this an "okay" rating because that is what it felt to us both, okay food but nothing amazing. I can imagine they get some good lunch business (we were there later in the afternoon) because you can get a decent meal at a very decent price. We both had leftovers, and our total bill (not including tip) was about $25. If we are in the area again, we might try it again.

Kelsey's - the way it ought to be…read more.. I've now been to all but one of the Kelsey's in Brevard county, and this one has to be my new favorite. Located in the southern most strip mall on US1 in Rockledge, it's small but the experience packs a nice, big punch. I really like how the place is decorated, it adds to the chill ambiance the place has and it doesn't hurt they're playing 80s either... The food is as good as any Kelsey's I've been too, if not better. They offer the best calzones I have had anywhere (and I have had calzones from coast to coast) - massive, stuffed full, and it comes out piping hot. Their salad for two is more like a salad for four or five, and the garlic bread with cheese we added to order arrived with a nice touch of marinara sauce for dipping. Truly loved it. Service was so friendly, I wish I could remember the waitress' name, she was literally on the spot when it came to keeping our drinks filled and bringing us doggie bags and such. Took a long time for us to try this Kelsey's, now that we know, we will definitely be back...
