This place is chill, lots of seating in the area. The macaroni and cheese is the worst mac & cheese I've ever had. The fries, though, they rival McDonald's. really good fries, wish they served a sauce with the food though. The grilled chicken is well marinated and juicy but if you're not used to spicy food, I would take out the jalapeños, cause the chicken itself has a kick to it. Beef Sliders are good too. We haven't tried the fried chicken, but I've heard good things. Service is decent. Food is made fresh so it's not fast food, be prepared to wait a little bit for your meal. read more

Big back, big time fan of chi tea! I've been to the Lombard, Schaumburg, and now the newly opened Naperville location and I continue to be obsessed with it. This location's service is a little different when compared to others. They are a self order spot where you place your order at the kiosk at the front counter. There wasn't anyone there to assist or answer any questions. Maybe this is a temporary thing with it being brand new and short staffed? Either way though - as someone who goes frequently it was not an issue. This may cause frustration with first time customers though. Interior is designed similar, if not the exact same, when compared to the other locations. This fast casual halal resto is known for their chicken and boba teas. My favorites from here are the big bird and loaded chicken fries. Very flavorful, chicken is cooked perfectly and JUICY. The slaw adds a crunchy texture that brings the big bird perfectly together. I don't love their drinks and find them too artificial for my liking. Others that I've dined in with do enjoy it though! I noticed they added Mac n cheese to their menu and I'm excited to try that next time. read more

The staff was very nice and helpful. It is a cute spot in there but there are only a handful of tables so it can get packed pretty easily. I ordered a strawberry mango boba tea - it was very tasty but more of a smoothie rather than a boba milk tea as I was expecting. I also got the chicken cheese fries, the fries are very good but the chicken is pretty spicy if you are sensitive like me! My husband ordered the chi burger and it was very good, I would recommend that. read more

I was in the area, so I decided to give the new Chi Tea a try. I drove past Hangry Joe's to go to Chi Tea. I'm a fan of their Big Bird sandwich from the Lombard location, and wanted to get the slider version. It was a random weekday, and I placed my order for the Big Bird slider at 11:42 am. At 12:02 pm, the worker came over to me and said they couldn't get the fryer started, and offered me a beef slider instead. I was hungry so I agreed. I received the burger within the next 10 minutes, and they threw in a strawberry lemonade for the inconvenience. I wish they had advised me earlier about the fryer, as I lost 20 minutes. That said, the beef slider was good, as was the lemonade (although a bit too sweet). The interior of this Chi Tea is nice enough; not huge, but not tiny. I was already familiar with this interior because I used to visit this spot when it was Poke Burrito. I'd say 3.5 stars for now, but hopefully it will be higher if I'm ever able to try their chicken. read more

Came here during their soft opening and everything went smoothly. The food was great, the service is awesome. The ambiance is on point with their other locations. I've tried this place twice and for me it was decent. I ordered the sliders, and they were ok but I didn't like the cheese on it. Next time I'd order it without the cheese. Two, I believe this place is probably better with ordering on-site versus a food app. Generally my food have come cold or messed up via the apps. This location is so convenient and the best of the ones in the suburbs in my opinions. We've gone a few times and the food has been really good quality. Also the portions are sized well. From ordering with the cashier at the front who had a very difficult time comprehending a simple order, to getting the wrong order and having to wait until everyone else behind me got their order to get mine fixed. I repeated my order like 3 times and they still got it wrong. Asked for a refund and to just cancel my order because it was taking so long, but was told that wasn't possible. I dined in and waited 20 minutes for 2 burgers, 2 fries, and 2 teas. Both burgers were ice cold on the bottom, making them not very enjoyable and the drinks didn't come out for another 10 minutes after we got our food. Wouldn't it make more sense to have the drinks ready at the same time - who wants to eat without a drink? The fries were tasty, about the only good thing that came out of this experience.
