The best Places to get a cut in town! The music is always great, the camaraderie is amazing, and if you're lucky you'll even get your nose booped (thanks for that Andy). This place is legitimately the best barber I've been to. You can make appointments online, which is amazing. Other places you show up put your name on the list and wait. Pappy's cash only but is located around a few banks and offers an atm inside. Free water/soda while you wait, super clean facility in and out. Haven't been to this location yet, after living in San Diego for 3 years Pappy's was the only place I ever went for a haircut. So glad we found this gem! I took my son in for a haircut and was able to schedule online for a same day aptmt. We arrived and sat down outside (COVID) and were promptly greeted and brought inside. I asked for a 1-2 fade and a solid 1 all the way around and up to my part which the barber decided to take the liberty of moving my hard part over ab an 1/2"-1" and now my hair looks not only like shit, but it's also lopsided, so fuck you for not LISTENING to your client and not doing the FADE like do you not know what a fade is? Also if you're going to move someone's fucking (hard)part, which is pretty important in the quality and overall look of the haircut, dont fucking move it unless they specifically tell you to or you ask them like what the fuck, I'm actually furious as I'm sure you can tell, went once before this time and the apprentice did better at cutting and listening to the client than the actual licensed barber read more

Finally, a great shop in Poway to go to! This has everything that I look for in a barber shop!! I booked my appointment online and was stoked to get a spot. When I walked in, it had a great traditional vibe with their own spin on it. I got, by far one of the best cuts I've had in a while (my wife thought so too).
