Like other reviews said, give this place a chance despite odd location. The employees were very friendly and willing to accommodate a lunch special despite it being dinner time. Seems like a small family business so it's nice not having corporate faces like peyton manning pushing you. There is inside seating which is comfortable and a tasty soda fountain. they run several specials which can be found on their takeout menu, table displays and, website. The notable ones for solo guests being $5.99 pappy wheels i think on Wednesdays (reg. $9.99) and $4.99 two slice lunch special with fountain beverage (toppings $1 each covering both slices). The pizza is unique giant thin crust. They have it premade on display and just heat it up in the oven for single slices. I suggest eating it as fast as possible while hot because it gets harder to chew as cools down. I was stuffed after eating both so lovebirds could share if they weren't starving. Now there's gonna be some liquid on top of the pizza which the uneducated will think is grease. This is actually italian pizza au jus sauce that only the most sophisticated and accomplished chefs can provide. This may be best restaurant between I95 and Turnpike. read more

I've had the pleasure of spending some time in Ft. Pierce on business. I chose Pappy's one evening for a large antipasto salad. The young lady who took the order over the phone was fast and efficient, and told me she would be making my salad fresh. I took the short walk, and entered the door. Upon my entry I smelled the incredible aroma of fresh mozzarella and tangy sauce permeating from their oven. Luckily they had one slice of "pizza by the slice" left in the box and it was calling my name. While I was waiting for the young lady to finish making my salad I enjoyed a slice of perfect pepperoni pizza. I've sampled pizza from all over the country, and this pizza in my opinion was as close to New York City Pizza as I've ever had outside of New York. Crispy cracker crust, not doughy, with plenty of cheese and toppings that wouldn't slide off on the floor when the slice was raised. I digress, the pizza was amazing, but the salad was perfect, plenty of pepperoni, ham, turkey, and cheese. The salad was extremely fresh! Crispy, crunchy and full of flavor. This was my second time enjoying the salad, and I'm sure I enjoyed it even more the second time. Every time I visit Ft. Pierce Pappy's is on my list. Put it on yours too! read more

Pizza was okay. Crust wasn't what I'd hoped for. The pappy rolls were very good albeit greasy. But I dabbed them on a napkin and gave them an extra star. Neighborhood is certainly interesting. Pappy has a liquor store and across the street is an Adult X Store. So if your stranded on Okeechobee Blvd. get a bottle, some greasy rolls and a magazine and check into a sleazy room. Order from here about once a week lately. It usually takes about 45 minutes for delivery every time. I have had the wings, the fries and the Strombolis. They are all extremely good and the prices are spot on! They use canned mushrooms, which I like but some people may not so just a fair warning. I've heard great things about the pappy wheels, will be trying those soon. Overall this is a great place for delivery and the food and prices are right. 2 star pizza, 4 star wings. I'm not a huge fan of wings, but these were ok, maybe even good, far better than the accompanying pizza. There is nothing remarkable about their pizza. Unremarkable crust, sauce, Italian sausage (slices, which I've never seen before) and the cheese, which although plentiful and could have saved this pizza, was somehow tough rather than chewy, and also bland. Would have killed for a salt shaker, but was at a local hotel so no such luck. Would never order a pizza from Pappy's again, probably won't even eat the other half of this one. read more

I stumbled upon this gold mind when I missed the turn to my hotel. The service was great the food was great and on top of all that it was CLEAN! I couldn't ask for a better place to eat on our last night in Ft. Pierce. It was my daughter's 6th birthday and as soon as she told the staff they made her a birthday treat and even let her show off the presents she received that day. Pizza and food is good, but the service is not. Perhaps my expectation of pizza service was a little high, but the "gentleman" who delivered our pizza to the Holiday Inn express on 4/10/16 was extremely rude. We initially didn't hear his call due to our phones being on silent, so he came back in his cut off sweatpants, beard, old sneakers, terrible hygiene and bad attitude. "Y'all didn't hear me da first time? I wuz waitin'man i called u like fifdeen timez gotta listen to yall's phone" was our pleasant greeting when he came back knocking at the door. Did not care enough to call and complain but did deem it necessary to leave this review. Ordered from here before and never had this issue, must be a new employee. Nice little pizzeria of 95 in Fort Pierce friendly staff. We were very hungry from driving all day on our way to Key West. We ordered dinners I had ravioli and my wife had baked ziti. Both dinners came with garlic knots but garlic flavor was missing! My sauce reminded me of the ending scene of Godfellas where Ray Liotta is on his front walk of his track house in maybe Kansas and he looks lost and he says when I order Marinara it taste like ketsup !!
