We took a taxi ($15 for two) from the cruise pier to Paradise Beach after listening to some of the other "tour guides" hawk their beach club of choice. We picked Paradise Beach because it is a sandy beach. All the others seemed to have rocks. The entrance fee is only $3.00 per person which gives you a longe chair and umbrella and use of the beach, pool, rest rooms, and changing rooms and free WiFi!!!! We got here around 10:30 AM and it wasn't very crowded. There were a lot of children but all were weell behaved. There are two huge bars and a lot if shade. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and maintained, spotless! As an FYI Ocean Beach is next door and would cost a little more for the same thing but i had heard the beach is rockier. The water is beautiful and clear and no seaweed! There are a few small shells to be found by the kids. There is a pier to the left if the beach, it appears that small boats could dock at the deepest part. read more

I would come back every single day to hangout with my server Samuel for endless margs!!! Our group of 10 took a taxi here from our cruise and for $65 a person ALL YOU CAN EAT AND DRINK is a steal. It's about 10 minutes from port. This was my bachelorette so we planned to get a little tipsy and have a good time. The food was fire; I had shrimp tacos, lots and lots of pico, guacamole and chips, and chicken fingers and fries. On top of that 15-20 various drinks between frozen margs all the way to dirty Shirley's. Samuel was seriously amazing. He came to check on us every 5-10 minutes from 8AM when we arrived until 4PM when we left. All of the workers were also so nice. The bartenders at the side bar were busting their butts!!! On top of that, there was one guy who volunteered to walk us drinks into the middle of the water to our splash pad. WILD! The one thing I loved about this place was that it's a day resort, not a hotel so you don't have those resort guests getting mad that you're taking up space for the day. I'm seriously so thankful everyone went above and beyond to make my bach memorable and I'm already ready for my next trip to Cozumel! read more

The perfect day! This was our 2nd visit and cannot recommend it enough! Very clean and comfortable and the service was excellent! You have the swimming pool or the beach with an eating area in between the two. We did the all inclusive package and that was the best bargain. That gives you unlimited food and drink, so you can branch out and try different things without having to pay for something you don't like. You can also get a massage (for an additional cost). There is a water playground and I believe you can rent snorkel equipment and jet skis. And, there are shops, so something for everyone. Book it! You won't regret it! read more

Really worth it- mixed drinks are delicious & strong. We had shrimp ceviche, burger & fries...so far. Big waves today, so not good for snorkeling but the inflated water obstacles are a blast. Bring your own towel- none available to use or rent so we had to purchase a couple. Seriously fun day here- the staff are so friendly & fun loving. The menu has prices on it, but as I mentioned we did all inclusive. I am adding this part the next day- BRING CASH FOR TIPPING! I cruise often and have been to many beach clubs on Cozumel, but none of them compare to Paradise Beach! The food at the other resorts was nothing to write back home about. When I got to Paradise Beach, I was pleasantly surprised by the food. All of it was so fresh, especially the ceviche, and was probably the best food I had on my entire trip, including the food on the ship! And the drinks? Perfectly strong and tasty! The fact that all of the food was included with my ticket was the cherry on top. I would have happily paid for all the food since it was so delicious, but you can't beat all-inclusive food! Each of the staff members was kind and attentive. My family and I felt cared for, and it allowed us to truly relax. Booking a daybed at Paradise Beach was one of the best decisions we made on our trip to Cozumel. It added just the right touch of luxury and comfort to our beach day. As soon as we arrived, the staff greeted us with a smile and escorted us to our spot -- a shaded, cushioned daybed with a perfect view of both the pool and the ocean. The comfortable chairs, the great playlist in the background, and the option to swim, nap, snack, or sip -- all from one comfy daybed -- made it feel like we had our own little resort space. The attention to detail was clear, and the service was next level. If you're going to splurge a little on your vacation, let it be this. You won't regret it. This All inclusive gem on the Island of Cozumel was an accidental find that turned out to be a wonderful surprise. From Service to amenities, this beach club really had it all Our first trip together as "Chas N' Chuck" to the island of Cozumel in Mexico was a relaxing one. We had planned with the rest of our group we were cruising with to book the day at the beach club Paradise Beach. A few of the cruiser's that we were sailing with (and Chas as well) normally would frequent another beach club up the strip a bit called "Mr. Sancho's". On this particular date the other club was booked solid so we rolled the dice and booked here instead. Simply could not be happier about this! That is in no way to take away from Mr. Sancho's at all (or their swim-up bar which is awesome), but our day at Paradise proved to be just that. When we arrived we were met at the front of the establishment by a group of eager helpers and a tall glass of Rum Punch, which was their "welcome" beverage. Soon after we found out why this place was called Paradise. We took a walk up a walkway with beautifully bright green palm trees and plants that gave way to the first of two bars on the property. This bar had possibly the biggest fan i've ever seen operating above it and in the backdrop was the property's pool. This pool was a nice size with a great temperature and offered a cool feature, a ledge around the pool with lounge chairs in the water. Further along the way we came up to the 2nd bar which had some exotic birds hanging around chatting up the tourists and very near that bar was our seating for the day which faced the magnificent beach. We then met our server for the day and decided to grab another drink and then head down for the ocean. The water was very clear, quite easy to see to the bottom, and warm. Not like "taking a bath warm", but very comfortable. The water has a lot of inflatable fun stuff for families to play on, kayak's to rent (for a VERY low fee), and a great dock with snorkeling at the end. Our server Chrystiam was truly a master of his craft. He clearly understood the importance of pleasing the customer and he was on top of it all day long. With the all inclusive option we decided to order a ton of food and just all share everything. The food was enjoyable here. It was not the best Mexican food we have ever encountered, but it was quality food that came fast, how ever much we wanted, and at a great cost. At this time Chuck decided it was time for him to play his favorite game while on vacation. He said to our server "Imagine yourself sitting in my lounge chair, and I want you to bring us all whatever you would be drinking if I was you". Shortly after Chrystiam returned with a small, chunky blue bottle we did not recognize and a lot of shot glasses. After asking I simply received a "That's called Agavero senor". This was some of the smoothest tasting tequila we have ever had. It was technically not even classified as a tequila because of the high agave content, but a really tasty shooter. We had...more than one. After paying a very small fee (I believe it was $6 a person and it included kayaking) we grabbed some gear and went snorkeling. Many beautiful sights under the dock area here with lots of aquatic life and coral. Samantha thought Chuck tried to get her killed because he wanted a really good shot of a fish they saw underwater. Turns out that was a barracuda. Yikes. Cruising to Mexico is a great way to see one specific area. If you want to see more of this region of Mexico then we would suggest flying into Cancun and renting a car to drive the Yucatan peninsula with. There are so many incredible places to see, experience, and eat at through all of this area that it does pay to go that route. However, we truly love being on the ship and the whole process of the cruise so we do this quite often also. If you are ever in Cozumel, give Paradise Beach a look. The all inclusive was under $60 a person and had unlimited drinks and food with the seriously beautiful pool and ocean at your disposal. read more

If you like me and like to relax on vacation, this beach is perfect for it. They have a lot of lounge chairs, and they have activities for the kids. The packages are cheap, and the food here is really good. We ordered the wings and guacamole, and the guacamole was REALLY fresh. The staff is friendly here, and they have really great drinks as well. They also have a really nice pool that you can lounge by, and they have a really big bar. Paradise beach was all that I could ask for. We went for the day coming off a cruise. We were greeted quickly and welcomed to Cozumel with open arms. All the staff are grateful for our visit. For my family of 4 I purchased the all inclusive day pass which included all the food and drinks you wanted. Our servers were Josque and Arnie. These guys learn your names from the start and are checking on our every 15-20 minutes. They made the experience perfect. The food was delicious, we had chips, salsa, guacamole, ceviche, the kids had pizza. I order tacos from the taco truck. Amazing authentic street tacos. That salsa has a great kick to it. Drinks were made very well, they were not stingy on the liquor. They brought sodas for the kids. Buckets of bottle water to keep hydrated were provided. The ocean was beautiful... I had never seen a clear ocean. The water was clean , no seaweed in sight. They do have inflatable obstacle courses for a $10 charge per person. It included the paddle boarding. Also we had access to the pool which was not far from the beach. The pool is very clean and heated. It was very relaxing. The restroom were clean. Overall we loved it here. We had a wonderful day at this beach club. This was our third time here and we wouldn't hesitate to go again. We took a cab from Royal Caribbean which was docked at The International Pier. You exit the ship and have to walk thru all the shops, which is approximately 1/4 mile. Then you will see a taxi stand. There are some signs directing you to the taxi stand. The cab ride was $15 one way for the four of us and the ride is approximately 15 minutes from the cab stand to the Paradise Beach Club. When you arrive as you step out of the cab you will be greeted and shown the way where another person will escort you to a chair and umbrella. He will charge you $3.00 per person to get in and will explain that every person has a minimum spend of $10. So, for $13 a person you get a chair & umbrella and some food or drinks. At this time he introduces you to your server who will take care of you the rest of the day. The server puts a wrist band on you and returns with menus. We have never had a problem because our bill is always more than $13 per person. We order drinks, beers and usually some chips & salsa and chips & guacamole. Everything we've eaten has always been fresh and delicious. They have a menu with all kinds of food and drinks. They will keep a running tab and you settle up at the end of the day. They accept cash or credit cards as payment. You are never pressured to spend more than the $10. They are not pushy in any way. They have all kinds of water slides and water toys in the ocean and this is an additional charge. I didn't do it but believe it's about $18 per person for the day. It's great for entertaining children all day!! There is a very large beautiful heated pool with plenty of chairs and a very large bar right there. There was a mojito bar cart going around and I also saw a taco truck set up by the pool area. The beach and the pool area are not far and you can easily go between the two. On the beach there are some tented areas where you can get a massage or your hair braided. I saw plenty of women and young girls of all ages getting their hair braided. The facilities are clean and there are attendants everywhere to help you or answer any questions. There are also some gift shops where you can purchase hats, lotion, cover-ups or even a bathing suit or a gift item. We were there on a Christmas cruise and there were 7 ships all docked at this port at the same time. While this beach club was crowded & busy, the service and staff easily accommodated all their guests with no problem. The service was great and we didn't have to wait for anything. People come & go as their ships leave at different times. We were there all day because our ship wasn't departing until 7:30pm. The beach club was closing around 5ish that day and no one told anyone to leave. They went about their business cleaning up. When we left we walked back to the front of the beach club where a line of cabs was waiting to bring passengers back to the ships. Should you decide to go make sure you know exactly which dock you particular ship is at!! It can be a very long walk if you get dropped off at the wrong ship!! Had a great day at Paradise Beach! We took a taxi from the International Pier where Royal Caribbean docks for $15. We were greeted on arrival and paid our $3 entrance fee. We were explained that they offer chairs, umbrellas, heated pool, showers and restrooms as long as you spend at least $10 per person on food and drinks. Definitely a great deal. We were escorted to our chairs right on the beach and given a menu. We were never pressured to buy anything. The water was clear and warm with no seaweed. We spent the first couple hours in the water as it was very hot and humid. Once the clouds rolled in we went back to our chairs and ordered some lunch and drinks. We ordered the chicken nachos ($11) a chicken quesadilla ($9) and two beers ($4 each). The food was very good and a large size, I thought the price was very reasonable. We spent a few more hours relaxing at the beach and in the water and again no one ever pressured us to buy more. We spent the last hour at the large heated pool. They have lounge chairs on the wet deck in about a foot of water which was great. All of the staff are super friendly and helpful here. One employee even washed our sandals for us as we were leaving to get all the sand out. They also have free WiFi. For under $40 for two chairs, an umbrella and lunch I think Paradise beach is a great deal and a wonderful place to spend your day in Cozumel! read more

A real taste of paradise. My Cuban cruise had been rerouted to Cozumel. I had a group of 20 going with me and I wanted to find an excursion where we could just enjoy ourselves. I happened to be on social media and came across a post about things to do in Cozumel. Paradise Beach was mentioned and then a reply advised the person to not tell everyone about Cozumel's best kept secret. I became very intrigued. I looked up more information and lo and behold, there was a special for the all-inclusive package and water activities. That settled it, my group and I were headed to Paradise....Beach that is. We arrived at the resort after a short 15 minute cab ride from the cruise port. We had only paid the deposit (half of the cost), so upon arrival we paid the other half and our amazing servers, Luis and Jesus, showed us to our reserved seating on the beautiful beach. We ordered drinks (in addition to the welcome drink we received at check in) and food. It was Tuesday and we were in Mexico, so of course we ordered tacos. And what amazing tacos they were. Honorable mention goes to the spicy shrimp taco. The garlic shrimp was a family favorite. However, the highlight for me was the ceviche. The ceviche was chock full of shrimp and seasoned delicately but still with a bold enough flavor throughout the dish. The ceviche was accompanied by a basket of crispy plantains. The beach and activities were enjoyed by all. I spent the last couple of hours in the immense heated pool. I had an amazing time swimming and talking to other guests. The poolside showers were a plus. Luis and Jesus even checked on me in the pool area. I highly recommend getting the all-inclusive option. The prices for a-la-carte were pricey. This was our second time coming to Cozumel. The first time the cruise ship stopped here, we went to another beach and had a very interesting experience. We wanted to try another beach so we came here. Admission is $3 and the waiters will collect the admission fee and give you a wristband. They ask that you at least spend $10 a person while at the beach. Looking at the food and alcohol prices, that will be easy. Lol If you want to use the kayak, and inflatables in the water it's $18 and they will provide you another wristband (fun pass). When you walk in you will see a beautiful blue pool with a bar near it. If you keep walking you will hit the beach and sand area. Be sure that if you want to get into the water you go to the right of the beach. The left side is rocky and not a good place to try to swim at. The guys working there will tell you which side is better. I don't know about you, but I find the sounds of the beach so relaxing. I love the trees here so if you want to sit in the shade it will be easy. I found a chair and put it in the water so I can get some sun. After a few hours, I sat in a chair pool side that was in the water. So relaxing. Food: the Cozumel fish tacos were decent. I love how all the side dishes came in tiny taco shells. The rice on the side was very dry. The nachos paradise (chicken and arrachera) were tasty. My mom enjoyed her steak and cheese burrito. It was super big! After we saw all the food we probably should have shared some things. Drinks: my mom liked her strawberry margarita and the virgin strawberry daiquiri was tasty! Yummy! Compared to other beaches that charge $17/person or $60/person I think this place was nice and relaxing. The food was ok and the drinks were good. From the cruise port it it cost $15.00 for the taxi ride one way. It was $3.00 a person to get in and there is a $10.00 food or drink minimum per person. The umbrellas and beach chairs were extra. Cabs wait outside to bring you back to the ship when you're ready. The beach is very beautiful and well maintained. The water is calm and perfect for kids. The showers and restrooms were clean. There was also a large beautiful swimming pool a very short walk from the beach. The staff are very friendly and the service was excellent. The food, was ok - not hot and everything tasted like fish - we had chicken. Not a lot of flavor. If you sit on the beach - those waiters will earn their tip - but then if you move and eat at the pool bar - those waiters will follow you to your seat for a tip! That is ridiculous. I know lots of people probably don't tip - but when you follow me to my chair - thats uncomfortable. We area American and tip well for good service - not being followed and harassed for a tip - and told many times - "please know we work up here and do not share tips." That is what we were told - rude! and just awkward. The water was nice - lots of large rocks with seaweed stuck to it - bring water shoes if that grosses you out. Snorkeling by the pier was fun and the loungers in the water were nice - we didn't use the blow ups - but they looked fun for kids and adults who enjoy that! The pharmacy on site was worth the money - and about the same price as in the ports. The local pup Rusty is adorable - don't pet him he doesn't like it! LOL. Love this Beach club! It was recommended to me by a neighbor who visited the island a few months ago and I'm glad she did. This place is awesome, for a minimal entrance fee of 3 dollars and you have to spend 10 in drinks and food. The pool was amazing and beautiful with a huge palapa bar area. They have very clean bathrooms and changing areas. The entire facility is expansive and sits right on the beach where you can enjoy blow up play toys in the water,or kayak or paddle board. There are also some shops on the beach for beach wear and other essential items. You can also indulge in a massage while enjoying the day. The staff was great, they, whether you're in the pool or on the beach they wait on you, getting your drinks and food orders which I felt were reasonably priced. As far as beer goes a bucket of 4 Sol was 18 dollars not a bad deal! I recommend this place to anyone traveling to Cozumel I'll definitely be back. read more

Nice place indeed. We spent the week on the island and went to three pay-beach resorts. Paradise Beach is a good one, although the water looked more like an East Texas lake on our January visit (not necessarily their fault). This place is popular with people on cruises. If you are on a cruise, good luck. If you are staying on the island, get there early. We snagged chairs -- somewhat spread out -- and eventually worked our way together, as cruise people began to get nervous and left before their ships did. Service here is attentive. Food is decent. Beer is cold. And yes, they take plastic. Is it paradise? Some people might think so. But not on our day there. Nice, for sure. Facilities are excellent. This was the highlight of my trip. The minute we walked in my family and I were greeted by two waiters asking us if we wanted to be by the pool or sit on the beach. We were taken to our chairs and our waiter Miguel introduced himself to us and said he will be taking care of us for the day and what ever we needed just ask. And he did an exceptional job. The drinks were flowing and the food was good. The pool was blue and refreshing and the beach was clean with lots of activities to do. If you are taking a cruise or coming over for the day from the mainland, I would highly recommended checking this place out, you will not be disappointed. It is kid friendly if you have little ones. Paradise Beach is my favourite beach resort to spend the day when I dock in Cozumel on my cruise. A short cab ride away from the cruise terminal: $13 per cab for up to 4 person one way. $3 a day includes lounge chair/umbrella/use of facilities. There is though a minimum consumption of $10 pp which is easily achieved if you have a few drinks and a light snack! For $15 you can also get to use their water toys, snorkeling equipments and even kayaking. I usually just opt for the basic $3 option. Have a bucket of beer, some fresh seafood for lunch then just chill in the pool a little. There is plenty of taxi that would take you back to town after a day on the beach. Hardly recommended. The crowd here is plentiful laid back and not rowdy at all! Free Wifi access with reasonable speed is definitely a PLUS! read more

Really wanted to love this place :/ - On google and yelp, you open at 10am Sunday's. On Facebook it says 11am. We came at 11am in case. Pretty disappointing that the all inclusive charge is the same on sundays when you're open 3 hours less - We awkwardly sat around twiddling our thumbs in confusion for FOURTY FIVE minutes before anyone even approached us. We asked the front desk what time opening was after sitting around and she said "11am.. well 11am-ish". - We we're finally greeted after almost an hour and told we could order some food but the bar is still not ready........... as we are looking around noticing a whole bunch of staff all around us wondering how it's 12pm, an hour after opening and the bar is still not open to guests who paid over $60 to be here? - I've been sitting on the beach for an hour now and no one has greeted us to offer any service, drinks, food, nothing! I see a group of 6 servers just down the beach in a circle chatting away. We're one of two couples sitting on this beach... and great tippers! Other activities cost extra ($65 for 30 min jet ski, $30 for 20 min massage, $20 for small plain temporary tattoo, $15 banana boat ride). $3 gets you a lounge chair by the pool or beach (both of which you can use). There is no towel rental, so if you need a towel, you must purchase for $20. Yes that's right, $20 is ridiculous!! We just let the humid air dry us and we were fine. You can rent lockers near the bathroom. No food or drinks were included, but they have 2 bars, a restaurant, and a taco truck. Tacos from taco truck were fresh and ran $4 per taco, while the burritos averaged $12. The location is a 15 min drive from the port. Overall, it was a clean and safe facility that our family enjoyed and would likely return to. read more

Family spent the day at Paradise Beach Club. Serive was great and we had a great spot on the beach. We hung out at the pool later in the day and the pool is very nice also. They have inflatable water things for kids and the kids had a good time on those. I would say if you have younger kids be very careful or vigilant as the ocean is probably upwards of 10 to 12 ft deep and the kids have to tread water going from inflatables and there is a lot of people so it's not as safe as it looks. If you child is not a really good swimmer I would recommend checking out a life vest. read more

This is a great place to spend a day in Cozumel...We arrived on a cruise ship and took a taxi ride (from the port it was about 10-15 minutes and only cost $21 USD for the whole taxi). There is a $3 USD admission fee to use the beach chairs, umbrellas, and pool and also a required minimum purchase $10 USD per person to be spent on food or drinks (I have no problem spending $10 on Mexican beers!) There are also water activities available for a fee . The bathroom facilities are nice and clean. The beach is beautiful. I can't wait to return here for another relaxing beach day! read more

We enjoyed our visit. PB is a solid choice if you want a beach club to visit in Cozumel that isn't all-inclusive. If you understand what you are getting for your money and how beach clubs in Cozumel work, you'll find that PB is solid choice. The entry fee is $3 a person and they request you spend at least $10 each at the bar or on food. It wasn't like they had the Federales out watching to make sure you did. However, it wasn't hard to spend that much per person, either. A beach club in Cozumel is just a place to spend your time off your ship or away from your condo. They either work as à la carte places (like this) or all-inclusive. There are some that offer both options at the same club. You are assigned a server and that server will have 1 or 2 assistants. They will take your $3/person and provide you with a band. They will ask you to flag them down when you wish to order anything and provide you with drink & food menus. They get you chairs (you pick the location) and they will answer all your questions. There are extras you can add-on like playing on the water toys and getting massages. My fresh anyway-you-like-it burrito for $12.50 was built exactly as I asked and it was soooooo delicious. Using the pool and the shower/restroom facilities are all included in your $3 entry. They have a gift shop and a small pharmacy. The loungers and hammocks are also included. They have chairs in the pool and beautiful white sand. We found the actual ocean to only be ok, but the rest of the club was nice. BE 100% POSITIVE how much your cab is going to charge you each way before you get in. If they quote you higher than you paid to come, **POLITELY** go to PB host stand and get them to get you a different cab. read more

We found this to be an excellent value at $60 per person. 10 minutes from the port. Not a Carnival excursion. The place was clean and had a large pool. The pool and beach area had many lounge chairs and umbrella. The menu was large and our foo was good. The waiters were friendly and constantly checking if you needed anything. Paradise Beach was wonderful. We had the best waiters, Saul and Josue. The food was excellent, we did the all-inclusive package. My husband loved the Blackened Mahi tacos. I tried the Hawaiian pizza and the pork tacos. Martin was working hard to keep the area clean and he was very friendly. The menus that are in other pictures are accurate. My favorite drinks were the Electric Koolaid and the Matador. The snorkeling was not great, the water obstacle course looked fun, we did not pay extra to try it though. read more

This place is a scam. I'd give it a zero if I could. They are dishonest and will lie to you to get you to pay the cover charge. Worst manager and management skills I've ever seen! Totally worth the stop if you're looking for an easy relaxing day without the "all inclusive". It was $3 to get in- you get your own chair, umbrella, pool and beach. There is a bar (minimum $10) and food. The chicken & steal nachos were so good! There are a ton of people around selling jet skis, water toys and parasailing (which we ended up doing). The only thing is there is a lot of people selling things in the area which is understandable but annoying when you are relaxing. Other than that, fabulous day and perfect weather! read more

We enoyed our time at Paradise Beach. We were in Cozumel during a cruise, and decided to just get out on our own and explore whatever we could. After some research, we decided that this was going to be the place for us. It is kind of pricey, but it's a resort anyway. The facility is nice and clean, the servers are attentive, and the food wasn't bad (although overpriced). We were even able to parasail through one of the vendors by the beach. They also have internet access, which was nice since the internet at the ship was crappy. There the play area on the beach that looks superfun, but it is very strictly watched. My sister tried to sneak in but was caught by one of the guards. Overall, I reccomend this place. I will be back whenever I'm in Cozumel. After extensive researching online, I decided to make Paradise beach resort my beach destination for Cozumel. It's a 10 min taxi ride from the Carnival cruise terminal which will cost $15 for one way trip. The resort is pretty decent size. To go to the beach you pass through a big swimming pool. There's plenty of lounge chairs and umbrella for all. They even have a hammock area. The guy at the entrance told us that the server at the beach will take care of us. We paid at the beach for our wrist band which was $3 n $10 min purchase of food/drink. It's an extra $18 for the inflatables play area in the water. I think they charge some extra $$ for snorkeling gear. Food: I ordered the fish taco which was pretty good. Service: The servers here are outstanding. They really work hard for their $$. As they cater to foreigner tourists, there's no problem using dollars here. read more

This place is geared towards tourists and can supply every item you could need for the beach. From bug spray, swimming trunks to flip flops. They had a nice pool by the beach with lounge chairs in the shallow edges of the pool with tables for those who only want to dip their toes into the water but still wanted service. They had clean facilites, attendants at every turn. I mean every turn. Bathroom, walkways, greeters, servers, bussers. There was no shortage of help and barely ever a wait if you needed help. The attendants helped find us seating areas on the beach in the shade with tables by in the inflatable slides but it got too busy so we moved by the pool. Both the beach and the pool are close to their own bars. When we were there, 3 cruise ships had landed and I knew that we were mostly people. A lot of people brought towels from the ships so it was an easy giveaway. Even with 3 giant cruise ships, the staff were great at keeping up with our orders. This spot was not an official excursion sponsored by the cruise lines so it was reasonably priced. Even if you accounted for the transportation, admission and cost of food and drink, it still was a good deal. The only way it could have been better is if they had a splash pad for smaller kids. read more

We're in Cozumel for the day on our spring break cruise. I waited too late to book Mr Sanchos so we decided on Paradise Beach. It was only a $15 taxi ride for 4, so it wasn't too bad getting there. There is a $3 entrance fee and then if you want to climb on the play areas in the water it's another $18, which is a little much. We got to the beach and loved the pool area as you enter. There are tons of chairs, which is another positive. The negative is the cleanliness of the water. It's brown and dirty and has tons of seaweed floating in it. It made a few in our group not want to get in at all. We ordered shrimp and fish ceviche, steak quesadillas, and a steak burrito and all three were excellent. If I couldn't get into Mr Sanchos next time I'd consider a return, but it wouldn't be my first choice due to the dirty water. read more
