The rice in goat Biryani is very hard and pieces are like rubber.(No offense). I think I will not be visiting this place often until they get their act together. The prices are IMHO a bit steep for the quantity or quality. Should be more commensurate with the competition they have around them. I tried the Pepper Goat (Mutton) Fry (to go) and was disappointed that they did NOT give any rice or bread to go with it (most Indian restaurants do). The other entree which was also to go, was the Boneless Chicken Biryani, which was OK, not quite upto the benchmark standard most ethnic cuisine diners would expect. I went to paradise biryani in Dearborn and loved their Sesame Chicken and Veggie fried rice. So much that I was telling all my friends about it. Two days later I wanted to eat the same thing again (since it was so good) but Dearborn is far from me so I decided to try the Troy location with the exact same order. My order was taken over the phone and was told to pick up in 15 minutes but when I got there after 20 minutes, I was told it will be like get and had to wait an additional 30 minutes. Next time just say 45 minutes or even an hour so can pick up the order accordingly. Secondly, I could not believe that it's the same restaurant and different location because the food was not okay but just bad especially the sesame chicken. The sesame seeds on the chicken almost seemed brown maybe because it was reheated or old but the chicken was definitely not fresh. The rice was not what I had at the Dearborn location even the kind of veggies and seasoning was different. I was extremely disappointed because I was happy I had found a place that I love closer to home. Please have your cooks from other locations follow the same receipes as the Dearborn location and please do not reheat food for people paying a good amount of money for fresh food. read more

The family and I stumbled on this place after arriving at Neehee's and finding out it was closed on a Sunday. I was a little worried after seeing some of the reviews on yelp, however, this place ended up being a gem! I agree with someone who posted previously and am wondering if other owners are trying to sabotage the restaurant on purpose. The food was very tasty, served in a timely manner, and good portions. The checkout is a number based, pay first system which I am fond of. The have boxes, utensils, and bags for your grabbing for leftovers. Overall, very organized, well managed restaurant. Initially excited about Paradise biryani location in Troy other than Farmington Hills but really disappointed after having biryani at Troy location, they do not even come close to the other location in Farmington Hills. Please people if you would like to enjoy good biryani in Troy and surrounding areas please go to the ones you guys have been regularly going. I went a week ago during Ramadan to break my fast. I can make Indian food at home, so dining at an Indian restaurant isn't usually my first choice. I decided to try this place out anyway because I've heard good things about it. We ordered the hyderbadi goat biryani, butter chicken, naan, and samosa chaat. The food other than the chaat actually tasted pretty good. Besides the taste factor, the chaat came half way during our meal. At that point we were already almost full. The service was definitely on the low side. We had ordered a chai along with the food order, but to take before we headed out. After reminding them multiple of times, we still had to wait over twenty minutes for a small cup of chai. Even after having us wait, we realized on our way home that the lid didn't have a way to drink from it. I will probably take out next time and not dine in. read more

This one is closest among all others when it comes to actual biriyani, but sadly their service and quality is dropping exponentially.
