What a fun stop on the way home from boating! We had several cocktails and enjoyed the calamari. I'd give it a solid C+. It was a bit rubbery and could have been hotter. The bartender was excellent and the ambiance is laid back, fun, resort-y with seating on the water.

Went on a Saturday early afternoon. Food, service and view were GREAT!! Will definitely return. We had comforters, triple tail tacos, and two grouper sandwiches blackened. Excellent!!

Monday parking situation is better than Sundays.

It's definitely a great location to arrive by roads or by waterways It's one of the top 3 locations on the island I've enjoyed for many years. I'm glad they reopened I'll still miss the (Old Marco lodge) as I loyally called it Shelly's. The menu has changed a little to stream line it I guess. I started a timer from sitting down to food arrival. we came later around 1:45pm gave us plenty of time to enjoy a few drinks and conversation in a beautiful setting right next to the water. Food came in 30 min after ordering. I called before opening to see if they were still pet friendly, And they still are. Food 4 plenty hot fresh food only one mistake. Ordered fries with grouper fingers and got tater tots instead. Fish and oysters were prepped perfectly but the tater tots were a bit too crisp. Ambiance 5 plenty of fresh breezes near the water with plenty of umbrellas and two new chickee huts made by Seminoles. Service 5 pleasant, very polite and attentive. Location 5 nice parking area I'm glad we carpooled more people should. Parking can get a little scarce on the weekends I'm guessing but the walls are still not too far from parking areas. it seems that on Sundays this restaurant and two other restaurants around here do this fun thing called "Sunday Funday". The 3 get together and provide good food and live entertainment. Each restaurant is different and so is the music and menu. I was hopping from restaurant to restaurant trying them out. This restaurant has a big wide deck by the back. It was the happening spot Sunday. It has a stage and dancing space. The musician playing was Jim. He was excellent, great voice. He was talented and played awesome. We all enjoyed him. The little conch fritter tasted good. I enjoyed them. I ordered the Classic Ruben with tater tots. It was a good sandwich. I liked the rye bread and everything about this sandwich. We sat outside. This restaurant had a fun atmosphere. People were dancing and having fun all around. The deck faces the waterways so it has a nice view. The place was packed. The staff was nice. I was happy I tried the place out. I found a hidden gem.

Paradise found is what you make it. It has lots of seating on the water (parking can be tough sometimes) with multiple decks and a new tiki hut. Typically has music but sometimes it's this karaoke guy. Service is generally pleasant but can be up and down based on the crowd. It took a little time for our waitress to start our order but after she got us, she was attentive and helpful. The menu has something for everyone and the beer selection is decent. The tacos were the winner as they had great flavor (Caribbean Mahi Mahi). It's a good option when in the area.

Filthy restaurant judging it by its restrooms, decor and the cooking oil used for fried foods. Save yourself from a wasted dinner.

From the moment she greeted us, there was an ease to her kindness that felt genuine, unforced, and rare. The kind of warmth that doesn't hover, doesn't rush, doesn't perform--just shows up. She anticipated needs before they became questions, checked in without interrupting the rhythm of the table, and carried herself with a calm confidence that instantly made us feel welcome. What stood out most was how closely her kindness mirrored the kind I try to put into the world myself--attentive, respectful, human. Not transactional. Not scripted. Just real. She listened, she laughed with us (not at us), and she made the whole meal feel less like "service" and more like being taken care of by someone who actually enjoys caring. Food can be great anywhere. Service like Heather's? That's memorable. If you're lucky enough to have her section, you're in excellent hands. She elevates the entire place simply by being who she is. Management--please know you have something special here. Five stars doesn't quite cover it, but it'll have to do.

It's a mostly outdoor beach bar, with live music, drinks, food, and their famous "Sunday Funday." Nate and I were there on a weekday afternoon, so the vibe was more chill than I assume it gets on Sundays. We found a picnic table with an umbrella and a server came over right away. It was "idle hour" (happy hour), so we got some discounted drinks and a snack, some peel and eat shrimp. I wanted a pina colada, and it came with a rum floater. The pina colada itself didn't seem like it was very strong, but it had good flavor and wasn't overly sweet. I also got a margarita from the happy hour menu, which was pretty strong and sweet. The shrimp were served cold with cocktail sauce. They were cooked nicely and not rubbery, but didn't have a ton of flavor. I'd definitely order other food from the menu, but we were heading to dinner soon after so I didn't want to fill up. The live music that was happening while we were there was pretty silly and kind of raunchy, but entertaining. I'm glad we got to experience this popular spot at an off-peak time.

This is a huge place that gets extremely packed. Everyone is very friendly and here to have a good time. We will be back, but I want to arrive early enough to get a spot in the shade and be able to enjoy the music.

It's one of the places that finds good balance between good drinks, good views, and good food. The seafood stuffed potato skins had quite a bit of seafood, and you'd never really think of potatoes, seafood, and cheese being something appetizing, but it really is. The tuna nachos really hit the spot with really fresh. Tuna, crisp, wontons, fresh seaweed, and great sauce. The lemon pepper grouper sandwich was nice because it wasn't breaded, giving something other than fried seafood, and really carried the acidity of the women through the rest of the sandwich. Great little place to visit when you just want good food, the fresh breeze, and maybe some sports and cold beer.

I also had the volcano shrimp which was very good. They were fried and slightly spicy. The diced mango on top was a good addition. I enjoyed my dishes very much. The wife had shrimp tacos and liked them very much. Her two tacos came with a lot of fresh shrimp that was cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. Her meal came with slaw and she chose onion rings, which were good. She did not order off the special menu and I think her two tacos were $22. The kid had sliders from the special menu, which included two sliders for $8. She ate 1.5 sliders which is good for her. Our server Stephanie was attentive and friendly. She answered all our questions on the menu and was pleasant. The restaurant is located in a shopping mall-type structure and there is ample free parking. Overall, we had a very nice experience.

Nutshell: if you are a person who enjoys quality good, not fancy, just properly executed, you will hate this place. Waiter says, "we are known for our onion rings, you have to have those." Well, I enjoy a quality onion ring, so let's do it. Absolutely a huge mistake. Calling them greasy is an understatement. There was also not a lick of seasoning on them. They tasted of bland grease. Also, any server suggesting a gigantic basket of onion rings to two normally sized people is a jerk. Even if the batter wasn't shattered off half of them, it would have been a waste. The burger suffered from the same fatal flaw. I cannot recall ever eating a burger with less flavor. Zero salt and pepper and swimming in so much grease, the bottom bun collapsed upon pick up. This isn't an exaggeration. Flavorless. The lobster roll at least had some lobster, but again, just mid. Salt and pepper escapes them. I cannot stress enough that you should not eat here. My meal was free with the Platinum Rest credit, and I'm still angry about it.
