Salesmen Jody did do a good job representing the window, and we liked it, However the presentation speel went on for nearly 2 hours, most of which was just pressuring tactics which does not work on me. Finally he made the claim that it was a "One day price" I was done. They've since called three times attempting to come back out and rehash the deal. A phone call would be sufficient if it was about lowering the inflated price! Too many hands in the cookie jar....that's what these window companies are about! Took 6 months to get the front half of my house rewrapped in vinyl.. Supposedly finished in Jan. 2022.. Project took 6 months longer than originally quoted. They used a subcontractor to do the work after saying they didn't use subcontractors. That subcontractor did shoddy work. When we wouldn't sign off on the work because the work wasn't completed they kept contacting the finance company to try to get the money even though they hadn't finished the work. We're left feeling like we might have harmed our property value by using them, rather than improved it. read more

Paradise Home Improvement is a terrible company. On 4/11/21 I ordered 10 new windows to be installed at a cost of $15,567. They were installed in the beginning of June 2021. It turns out that 4 of the windows had warped sashes and had to be replaced. I was told that they would be replaced very soon (they couldn't give me a definite time frame.) Fast forward to October. I called Paradise Home Improvement on 10/14/21 and was told that the sashes had been ordered and would be available in about 2 weeks. On 12/6/21 I called one of the Managers, Jeffrey Becker, to find out what the status was but had to leave a message. He did not return my call. On 12/9/21 I called Jeffrey Becker again, and as before, had to leave another message. On 12/10/21 I called yet Jeffrey Becker AGAIN, and once again had to leave a message. Mr. Becker refuses to return any of my phone calls and no one from Paradise Home Improvement has contacted me to provide any kind of update. Meanwhile, the warped sashes in the windows are allowing cold air from outside to come in which makes the living room very cold especially this time of year. It appears that Paradise Home Improvement is ONLY interested in making sales and NOT servicing the customer. The manager, Jeffrey Becker, doesn't seem to have any interest in providing quality customer support or any concern for issues the customer may have. I have been working with paradise over the last year and a half from the initial estimate to where we are currently with our shower replacement. When I spoke to the salesman we were guaranteed a weekend install and no issues. If I said that was a lie that would be an understatement. After waiting 6 months for the "product" to arrive I was contacted stating that an installer would be at my house December 3rd to demo my old shower and install the new shower. When that day arrived I waited until 11am and contacted paradise to find out that the installer was "sick" and couldn't make it out that day. We rescheduled for the 17th of December and by a miracle they showed up and removed my old shower but by no surprise they did not have the materials to install my new shower which caused them to just stand around at my house for 2 hours. They told me that a manager was on his way from Columbia, SC with all the materials and that he should be there at any moment. After another hour of them standing around at my house I told the installers to leave, 45 minutes later the manager showed up with materials that weren't for my shower and asked where the installers were. I advised him that since he couldn't answer his phone when they were calling him to find out where he was I let them go home since it was 5pm in the afternoon. He left the materials at my house and the installers came back 2 days later to "finish" the install. Upon my inspection of the shower I found that the water valve was plumbed backwards and they never installed any of the trim back to my walls. Since that day I have had multiple people from paradise come out to my house to correct the plumbing issue and other issues since the walls were not installed correctly, ceiling piece not properly installed, and just poor workmanship all around to each time say that some issue had come up which caused them not to be able to come out on the day we scheduled or if they did come out bring the wrong material to actually fix my shower. On the last try the installer supposedly quit that day and I received a call from him stating that he was going to put a lien on my house since he had not been paid for coming out to my house previously. Now we have gotten to the point that Paradise has revoked the original contract and is not charging me for the work that was performed and is giving me my deposit back but I have yet to receive my deposit back or confirmation from the loan company that there is no loan I am due to owe. If you want to constantly get lied to and have to follow up with them to make sure they are going to do what they say then I would go with this company. If you want a professional team to come in and actually install a shower correctly and say what they are going to do and do it then I would look elsewhere. I will say the excuses I was given and still getting are hilarious to the point I am now saving some of them for future use. read more

I really would like to give this company a zero instead! I had contracted them to install windows for me last May and made a deposit of $5000. Installation was in December due to supplies issues. Windows were too small according to the installer and installed two temporarily for the two that were alread removed. Company insisted that the sizing were correct. Sent a guy (pro) who was unwilling to install the window above my front door because of technicality involved. He tried to work with me but that would be a problem. Also told me that company has a lot of windows in storage from bed measurement. They hardly answer the phones; make promises that are not kept and called 6/17/2022 and was told that my case was canceled. No official communications from them. Was told by the receptionist that she will inquire and get back to me and she did not. I called back to no avail. Now I have odd windows in my living room and out of $5000. Found this company at a Home and Garden show in Knoxville, TN. Very pushy from the start but I was interested in the eshield product. Got the usual sales pitch on how much of a discount I was getting but needed to sign a contract that day, that's a red flag I ignored. I was going to finance with their company lender until I read the reviews, then they said I could charge or pay cash and they would come out with a new contract which they never did. I called to be released from the contract and that got the ball rolling. They sub contract with Eshield of Georgia and apparently only the Eshield technicians can install. Eshield installed, still haven't saved any money on my utility bills. THEN, I was having my dryer vent and duct cleaned and discovered Eshield techs disconnected the duct in the attic and left it lying in the insulation, covered the roof outlet for the dryer in the attic with Eshield and left my home for a potential fire and mold in the attic. After my very heated phone call, it was fixed and they still try to say it may have already fallen before the service was done, although I have pictures to prove otherwise. Both Paradise Home Improvement and Eshield acted like it was no big deal for a project that cost over $6000. Then the general manager at Paradise told me that it's common for dryer to be vented into an attic. I believe he thought he was talking to uneducated female because that's how both Eshield and Paradise talked to me. Stay clear of both of these companies. One star is pushing it. I wrote about pushy sales tactics along with a shady finance company. I checked but could not find a permit. They weren't licensed according to the state of SC. No permit pulled on walk in tub. I have pictures of damage from insulation ripped out from crawlspace but the scary thing is no GFI they spliced an electrical cord that connects with the dishwasher and used electrical tape. No updated GFI mixing water and electricity and there was no upgraded fuse for overload on dishwasher. Again no permit. I called paradise clicked voicemail for GM full disconnected, called back pressed operator voice mail full it again disconnected me, called back tried instalations again voice mail full no messages could be left. Per York County I contacted SC Dept of licensing to investigate. Yes the walk in tub appears nice oh they tell everyone lifetime warranty if you can reach them. I sent the owners card in to Fl and it was returned no correct address for card returned USPS. The GM back then was shocked that I tried to submit a warranty card he claims their warranty is lifetime but no manufacturer lifetime. Use caution with this company. Depending on if corrections made and permit pulled upon inspection I may update review. If nothing I may fix repairs keep reciept and go civil. read more

if you choose this company, then you don't mind wasting money with extremely POOR to no results. the salesman was cool. he explained everything and we signed. end of the good part. we signed in April of 2021. shower pan failure. because of covid, they didn't get to me until July of 2021.they came and measured everything. when they came back, they brought the wrong shower seat(which was laser measured). they said they would overnight the parts and be back. i had to call THEM several times for weeks to see when they were going to finish. the rep that i FINALLY got in touch with said MY JOB WAS FINISHED as i stood in an UNFINISHED bathroom. several calls later and MANY MISSED appointments, they finally came to my home. they put the shower seat in, however now the glass doors wont fit based on the new shower seat. yep, after several calls AGAIN and at this point threats of legal action, they CLAIM they are going to have the doors fabricated and sent for installation. i was TOLD 14 days. they are STILL NOT DONE. so it will be 7 and 1/2 months for a simple SHOWER PAN, shower seat, and doors. i own homes in a few states and overseas, this is THE SINGLE worst company i have dealt with in my many decades on this planet. i have reported them to the BBB and the Chamber of Commerce here in North Carolina. now i put this very review on their website, and amazingly it didn't make it on there, however all i see is 5 star ratings, when people in their OWN COMPANY say they have guys specifically on the payroll to FIX THE ERRORS they create. i wish there was something lower then a "1 star." read more

I am looking to have 5-6 windows in a newly purchased home replaced. I received a call from Paradise Home Improvement and the gentlemen I spoke to could not have been more rude. He asked a few questions, I answered them and he offered to have someone come out to provide a free estimate. I simply asked what their price ranges were, so I knew whether or not to waste either of our time. He rudely said he didn't give prices and that he could set up a visit for an estimate. I told him I would follow up with my wife and that we were wanting to have an idea on pricing before we really wanted to go any further and before I could even finish, he very rudely and sarcastically interrupted me and said "well, have a nice day then" and hung up. By far the WORST experience I have ever had! The workmanship provided by the subcontracted companies was fantastic. The same can not be said for what they consider to be customer service and office staff! Disorganization, empty promises, missed appointments galore! My wife was contacted for a year and a half monthly and sometimes weekly after the installation of our windows to schedule an estimate for Windows that were installed by their company already... no matter how many times they were notified that they had in fact installed the windows already they still kept calling. During the second to last harassing call they asked how our experience was and we notified them that one of our windows had a seal issue and the other was delaminating on the inside of the double pane glass (looked like a holographic circle). The windows were less than two years old with a warranty so we wanted these issues addressed. We were promised a call back from Charity, the useless waste of an office manager. We waited nearly a month with no answer. Was finally able to get someone on the phone a while later, scheduled an appointment to look at our issues, no one showed and no call all day. Schedule another appointment a week later and will be interested to see if anyone shows... took calling this morning to be sure that it was even on the schedule and it wasn't ... shocker! Overall a horrible and over priced experience. Since they waited so long to complete my original request to replace fascia the board has begun to rot and will cost additional money to have it removed and replaced. I did get the gutters installed and the contractor was great. Still waiting for fascia work and remove and replace rotted back door frame. Paradise Home Improvement, In early September of 2021 I call and they came to my house to give me a quote on doing my bathroom. Philippe b. Jones and Paul Johnson were the salespeople. The total cost was $15,112.00 to rip out the old tub and replace the new one. I gave them $2,000.00 down payment. Balance was 13,112.00 to be financed. Service Finance Company, LLC., PO Box 645487, Cincinnati, OH 45264-5487 did the finance. Paradise Home was to come and do the work around the end of October, they call and said that they couldn't make the date, it would be in late November. Well, I got a statement from Service Finance wanting payment for the loan. Paradise Home said I wouldn't have to make a payment till work was done and I approved it. This sends up a red flag for me. I call Service Finance and told them that the work had not been done, and I was not going to sent payment in till work was done. I tried to call Paul Redman two or three times on this matter and he would not call me back. So I just fired them from coming to my home to put in the bathroom shower. They haven't given me back my deposit as of now. read more

HORRIBLE & DISHONEST! I wish we had looked at Yelp and other sites before using this rip-off company: The shower installation has multiple defects that the company has failed to resolve despite the warranty. We had an acrylic shower installed in August 2016. The sealant they used has continued to deteriorate and become discolored. The shower door has become loose and will not close properly. There is a cover missing from the base of the shower door frame that causes water to leak and drip, as well as retain water and mildew which cannot be cleaned out (health hazard). The company has failed to resolve the issues despite our attempts over a year's period. We have been stood up on 4 occasions where the company said they would snd someone to fix the issues. On one occasion, on a weeknight, we were told someone would be out at 5 pm (not after 5, AT 5) and at 6:20 we called to find out where he was and we were told they were running late and it would be close to 8pm before they could arrive. This was a week night and the repairs would not be a "quick fix". After a month of repeated phone calls they finally set a 9 am Saturday appt, which they showed up for, and the representative (Joe) told us: the shower door tray is missing a part that he would order and it would take about 2 weeks to get, in the mean time he would drill two drainage holes, which helped the water to drain, but still cannot be cleaned. He said the door required 5 screws, ours was installed with 3, which is why it has started to wobble and not close completely, he said he would fix that when he returned. He said the grouting used had "trash" in it, which meant there was debris in the material which has started to show through over time. After three weeks we had not heard back from Paradise , or Joe, and called again and another Saturday was scheduled for 9 am. On the Friday night before they called to reschedule for Sunday at 10 am due to "another unfinished installation". We agreed, and Theresa, the third person to take over as production manager over the past year (we have had to start the whole resolution process over with each new person) and handle our complaints, promised the installer would be there Sunday 10AM. He did not call or show up. We called Theresa at 11 Am and she said "the installer had been up all night in the ER with a tooth problem and had been pain killers but she could send him out that afternoon". Since the repairs were only supposed to take an hour (according to the installer, Joe) we had an event scheduled for that afternoon. Theresa again promised he would come out the following Saturday (today 10/14/2017) at 9 am, with the parts required to do the repairs. At 10:30 this AM he did not call or show up, we called Theresa and she said he was at another appt. but she would have him call us with an ETA. By 11 AM he had not called and we called Theresa again, and every 30 minutes since then, and our calls go to voice mail and unanswered. This has been the continued pattern of behavior from this company over the last year. They have lied to us and the BBB several times (his name was Jeff Becker) by saying they have contacted us, when in fact it is we who have had to continually reach out to them for resolution. There was only one occasion where they initiated an attempt. Dan (Jeff said he fired Dan, Theresa said he "retired earlier than expected") called my spouse at work and said "I'm in the area, call me right back and I'll come fix the problem".We called back and said we would meet him after we got off work (we can't just leave our jobs!) and he said no he was already out of the area and said he would get back to us, but he never did. Most of this is stated in our previous complaint with exception of the additional last five weeks since Theresa has taken over, with still no resolution to our problems, only more broken promises. Your Desired Resolution: We want the promises made to us to be kept: the sealant replaced, the door stabilized, the missing part(s) installed. We want our appointments kept as promised and our calls returned by someone who will be honest with us. Joe, the new installer explained what the causes were and explained the problems he recognized with the installation that were incorrectly done by Paul (also no longer with the company) the initial installer sent by Paradise Home. We just want the repairs to this work completed so we no longer have to deal with this company. read more

I did not answer the door initially, but when I opened the door to get the name of the company on the van that was parked in front of my house, the man approached again. I asked if he had seen the sign on the door, he said he did. I asked him if he was selling something, he said "no," but then proceeded to say they were "just handing out coupons"... but in order to use the coupon, wouldn't I need to spend money, thus buying something?
