But after several battles with Kings Jewelry in the Martinsburg Mall I feel it is important to let others know how I was treated and the poor quality of jewelry I recieved.My husband bought a diamond ring AND diamond earrings for me for Chirstmas this past year. He was told that the first sizing of the ring was free...when I went into get it sized I was charged 40 bucks because the sales lady claimed only the first SIZE was free and I needed 2 sizes. Well when I brought my husband back in the manager made it out to be no problem and he quickly sized the ring for me and we were on our way. (Pretty sad they are treating males better than females...guess they know who buys more jewelry.)I would have been happy with this being resolved if 4 months later my ring did not break. The manager then told me it was MY FAULT because I was wearing it wrong. I don't do any heavy lifting or even use my hands that often with my job so I don't understand how it could be MY FAULT! (Poor customer service there). I got my ring fixed and was on my way again. About 2 weeks later, my earring stud feel off of my diamond earring as I was putting it in my ear! I didn't even bother going back this time, I have lost all faith in this company and refuse to fight another fight or be blamed for cheap jewelry falling apart. I hope others will see this and think twice before going to Kings because I don't want you in the same boat as me: having to pay for earrings to be put back together and a ring that is ready to break again any day now since I can see the lines still in it from where they "fixed it."
