My English Mastiff, Lina, is a certified therapy dog, so her temperament, comfort, and well-being are incredibly important to me -- and Paradise Ranch has consistently exceeded expectations. Most recently, Lina stayed for a 9-day boarding visit, the longest she's ever been away from home. She came back relaxed, happy, and well cared for, with no soreness or stress -- which speaks volumes about the thoughtful, attentive care she receives. The staff truly knows the dogs, understands large breeds, and treats each one like family. The environment is calm, enriching, and well managed, and the communication always gives me complete peace of mind while I'm away. I am so grateful for the incredible team at Paradise Ranch and wouldn't trust anyone else with my dog. Highly recommend to anyone looking for exceptional daycare and boarding.

In…read more2023/2024 I found the dog resort extremely helpful as a day time dog sitter for 4-6 hrs at a time. My dog didn't seem to mind it and always came back calmer so I decided to leave him here for 9 days while I went away for a trip. I don't recall the exact costs. Probably between 900-1100 dollars for daily walks and his home provided food. I asked the employees to put on his sweater at night. It wasn't a question it was a very important task they agreed to. He was a very small 8 pound yorkie and was always cold. When I came back my dog was not his normal self. That already made me highly suspicious about getting his walks. He was coughing a lot, not sleeping but also lethargic. I took him to the vet and he had pneumonia. Meaning, he was cold from day 1 and got worse for the remainder of his stay and I never got a call from here. From there he got sicker and sicker and I had to put him down. I was devastated and desperate to get him back to normal for months! I recommend people never leave their dogs in places like this. Sure you save money and they may or may not have company (depending on their personality) but you're better off vetting a dog sitter to check in or stay with your dog at home. In the end you may save yourself an onslaught of vet bills from trying to figure what is making your dog so ill when back from a trip. At least with an in home dog sitter they're more like to stay alive and healthy. If you have a small dog with specific needs get someone who can cater to your dog with love and care. I highly suggest NEVER leaving your dog for overnight or extended stays. I hate that it took me so long to post this but my grief was too strong to do it before. I wanted to sue, I wanted my money back, but I was so sad and I couldn't bring myself to do much other than focus on him and move on with my life. I'll never get another dog after this experience.

Not really it's mostly jeans and tee shirt type apparel which is necessary around all the animals. We have 2 dogs which Dixie is an American Bulldog, (so ugly she's cute) AKA (Foster Failure) if you don't know what that is look it up, and a truly beautiful red Pit Bull Daisy. Dixie is about 21/2 years old with some anxiety and I believe some abuse in her past, and Daisy was to be euthanized the day my wife saved her from the animal shelter, she is about 11/2 years old, very loving and not a care in the world (except Food). I say all that to say this; we only had the dogs a few months and we had a 2 week vacation planned, plane tickets already bought, you know the story. We need to find a place for our new family members, (not just anyplace mind you, though new to our family we love them to death) so we needed a special place or person, We interviewed a few people, then some kennels, and time was running out fast. so far not comfortable with any of the choices. So my wife has been doing some dog rescue transporting and she had been to this place a few times and met the owner Raphaele Brilliant on several of these transports. One of the Rescue organizations wanted her to be their eyes and check the place out, take some pictures, see if the facility is safe, secure, clean, etc. We did and Raphaele understood and was super accommodating showing us around. After talking to Raphaele for about an hour my wife and I both had an epiphany (or if you want the truth it was more of a DAH moment) why not use "Almost Home" for our dogs. Sometimes you don't see what is right in front of your face, but we did and we are so glad we did. So far this review has been about us and our dogs and it really needs to be about "Almost Home Pet Boarding". Raphaele and staff did an amazing job, she even sent pictures of our girls out on their daily walks etc. (Very nice). It is very normal due to the change of environment (going from a house and yard) to a kennel situation, that dogs will lose weight, however ours Did Not, and I think it is because they do get attention with the walks, there is an indoor play area they rotate the dogs and spend time with them. Dixie did have some anxiety there but I honestly feel it was minimized due to their attention. (Dixie got extra attention in her kennel because of her anxiety) and she is a joy to be around. LOL. All joking aside my wife and I 100% recommend this place, They all truly love the animals and are committed to their well being. Raphaele never makes you feel rushed, she wants to make sure your comfortable leaving and entrusting your dear pets with them. We will for sure use them for our pets whether overnight or a couple of weeks. They have it covered. Thanks for taking such good care of our babies "Almost Home".

Every plan started with the question: "But what are we going to do with the dog?" Our dog Wallis is very high-energy and needs a ton of exercise and attention. Over the last several years we tried various boarding places and doggy day cares, but we were always disappointed. The services felt impersonal and we constantly wondered, "He's probably okay... right?" That peace of mind just wasn't there. That all changed when we found Creature Comfort BnB. Whenever we drop off Wallis THEE dog we know he's cared for just as we would care for him ourselves. They send regular updates and photos, and even share helpful observations about his behavior or health. For the first time, we can travel for days at a time without worry, confident he's in the best hands. It's not just about the money (though their rates are very reasonable); it's about the peace of mind they give us. We honestly don't know what we'd do without them. The first couple times we used Sitter4Paws we had a really great experience with the sitters that were assigned to our senior, diabetic cat. Last year, my mother unexpectedly passed away, and our regular cat sitter was unavailable for half of the trip home. We booked Sitter4Paws the second half of the trip, and let them know about the circumstances and requested sitters that had seen Jodie before so that we could rest easy during a very difficult time. Of course we know that can't always be accommodated due to scheduling, so for the first visit a new sitter came to see Jodie. On the evening of my mother's passing, we got a text from Sitter4Paws that the sitter felt he may have made a mistake with our cat's insulin dosage. It was revealed to us that instead of giving her her normal 2.25 unit dose, he gave her 22.5 units - ignoring the taped off/labeled syringes, our explicit written instructions in the app, and additional photos/diagrams of what a full syringe should look like. Thank god he realized his mistake, otherwise our cat would have slowly died alone in our apartment - and this would have happened immediately after losing my mom. I understand mistakes can happen, but the fact that a sitter was uncertain with potentially life-threatening medication if administered improperly and didn't even think to reach out to us first was quite shocking. Sitter4Paws took full responsibility, admitted their mistake, said they would take steps to make sure something like this would never happen again, and covered her 4 day ER stay, but it never should have gotten to that point. Again - we did have great sitters who took care of our cat wonderfully - but the uncertainty of who you can get especially with medication involved means that we can no longer recommend this service with confidence.
