Michelle did a great job with my nails and I'm very happy with the results

I came here after my usual nail place was closed. I was told that I could get my nails done at 5:30 after Michelle was done with her client. Came here at that time and showed them what I wanted. Color selection was ok, but I think they could use some other colors. Took about 2 hours to complete, which was pretty good. Overall, a great place to go to to get your nails done! $25 Acryclics+$5 Acrylic Removal+$10 gel polish+$10 Ombre nails= $50 plus tip

One of my good friends had invited me to get our nails did with her mom. I was a little hesitant since I just trimmed my nails super short for work, but I'm glad I went! Though we made reservations, we did have to wait about 15 min. I opted to get a gel mani ($19) while my friend got a pedi. My manicurist was really nice and we had some good conversations. Check out my mani, I love it! It's going to be the icing on the cake with my Harley Quinn costume! :] Paradise Salon, you have a new regular customer! Thanks!

The employees in this place are very friendly. I went in with my mom she was getting a pedicure and I got acrylic. My mom loved her pedicure. The only reason why I'm giving four stars is because I asked for thin natural nails but she did the opposite :( I love the nail color and my nails don't hurt like when I go to other places but that was the only thing they don't look natural. Other than that it's a good place.

Hair done by David Ta. 2 step process!

***Soley about DAVID TA***** I'm always amazed at how great David is when it comes to hair. I've been going to him for about 10 years now! And never do I leave disappointed. I love when a stylist just knows exactly what looks good on you and explain what they're going to do. That's exactly what David does every time! Ladies, if you're looking for someone who's not going to rush the process and does your hair right, David is the one you need to see! My hair color now took two processes, to gain the right perfect blend of colors with barely any hair damages! TOTALLY WORTH THE WAIT!!!! He definitely makes me look and feel younger every time! Love receiving the great compliments on my hair. In loveee with my summer do!

    Shimmery but simple!

Came here quickly during my extended lunch break on a Friday. My friend and I were immediately greeted by Michael and sat down in a chair within 5 minutes. I showed my nail tech, Michelle, what I wanted and she began to work on my nails. She did a great job; however, there were a few fingers that got cut throughout the process which hurt :( Prices are great and ALL staff is so friendly. Acrylics are $20, $10 more for gel, and $2.50 per finger for design. As other reviews have mentioned, the only bad thing about this place is that you rarely have one person work on you from start to finish. Often times you get passed on from person to person, like I did. I don't mind because everyone is friendly; however, I do understand others frustration.

I just love the way Paulina cuts and style my hair. Even when my hair grows out, the style still keeps it shape. She's super nice and takes her time to get your hair looking perfect! Her prices are very reasonable. I also brought my daughter to get bayalage done and it's the best natural looking color I've ever seen.

Michael (owner) is a very friendly, professional, and client-oriented man. I've come here for 3 years now and not once I ever got disappointed in the service. If you walk in and expect immediate service, you're not always in luck. The salon looks empty but they honor appointments just like every other salon. My favorite manicurist is Michell, she's very sweet, detailed-oriented, and creative. Show her a photo and she'll match 99 % of the sample. I also got helped by Thuý for pedicure. The price you pay is incomparable. They also have hair cut and waxing. Try them out.

4 days after getting gel mani

My friend referred me to this place. Mani and pedi are $20. $40 for gel mani and pedi. I got both. It was suppose to last longer than regular nail polishes. I got on Sat and this is what it looks like on Weds. I have had regular nail polishes that last much longer. As you can see, the job was done poorly with too much nail polish on my skin. So as the nail polish peels away fr the skin, it came off from my nails. I would not come back.

Kevin's work. Does not look anything close to what my cousin wanted.
    Betty H.

My cousin just left this salon super sad. She came here hoping to get her hair done for the new year. She showed them a picture, and Kevin said he would be able to do ombre for her. Her hair is orange and there is no flow to the ombre, the top of her hair is the exact same color she arrived with. After seeing her hair, she asked Kevin to fix it, he said no and that he already dye her hair and demanded money from her. That is so rude of him. Do not go to Kevin, he is rude and does not care about how his client looks.

David is amazing!! Loyal for 13 years now! Hair guru...

Having booked the service, we were allowed to utilize the amenities located in the spa. In order to get to the spa (if you're not staying in the hotel), you had to drive into the front entrance of the hotel. This is located on the side opposite of PCH. The only real option to park is through valet service which the spa takes care of as part of the cost of the service. Our massages were booked for 2pm but we arrived around 11:30am to have lunch and enjoy the amenities. The food was pretty good and the servings were plentiful. We got a chicken Cesar wrap and the charcuterie board. You're able to eat and have the food brought over just like you were ordering room service, it was definitely room service cost and they charged for delivery to the garden. After we finished eating, we lounged in the garden to catch some sun. This is the part where I say that it almost fit the bill... the weather loved tents providing shade had mold on the canvas. Maybe it was just weather warn because it does stay outside all year round? Not sure but I'm thinking that it definitely looked like mold to me. After the sun, we enjoyed the indoor amenities of steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. For me, there a few other patrons enjoying the amenities but my boyfriend said that he pretty much had the men's locker room all to himself. My favorite part about the amenities was the shower. The shower had a rainfall shower, a handheld shower and then several steam shower heads on three of the walls. The products in the shower smelled great and I would definitely use them again. For our massages, we have the couples suite. The room was absolutely gorgeous complete with 2 massage tables, 2 sinks, a gorgeous tub, 2 separate showers this beautiful stone piece on the far wall. Massages were great and relaxing. After the massages, our massage therapists led us out to the garden again to pretty much recover from the service and it was definitely needed. Upon checking it out from our service, we perused the gift shop. There were cute clothing pieces there as well as the products that were utilized as part of some of the services. When paying, they let us know that the gratuity was already covered in the cost so that was nice. Given the cost for each service, I thought it was a generous but also fair tip. Because we finished late afternoon, we decided to walk down to the pier and venture around there. We were able to keep the car there and the hotel bellman allowed us to store our gym bags in the hotel as well, all at no extra cost. If I was looking to splurge again, I would probably come back. What would sweeten the deal is if we were able to use the hotel pool too but they said that it is only allowed during the weekdays when the pool isn't too busy.

She'd never dry my ears properly leaving water and suds sitting in there for the entire time even after the service was finished. Hair products are NOT meant to be used on skin and she kept massaging it in and not washing it off leaving the hair product and suds just SITTING on my neck and shoulders for the majority of the service. Additionally she got water into my eyes MULTIPLE times and didn't even notice, would put a SOPPING wet towel over my eyes then run water right over it making me feel like it was a water boarding punishment, failed to dry me off properly at the end making me sit up resulting in water dripping down my back and getting my clothes wet. Then she gave me cotton swabs for me to clean my ears and when I went to try to throw it away after using it, she roughly pulled it out of my fingers so fast that the dirty cotton swabs touched my fingers leaving my ear wax on my own finger. Cherry on top she then shooed me off the chair after 5 mins of blow drying before my hair was fully dry, didn't even brush my hair until she saw me finger combing it myself. The only reason I gave more than one star is that Maybe the other head spa staff is better but I will never come back because of how bad mine was. Poor attention to detail is an understatement.
